Inget behov av att slåss om vem som får havsutsikten i denna fantastiska 6 sovrum, 4 badrum hem på en privat, stenig strand! Med 270 graders utsikt blå vatten, fyra av sovrummen har full utsikt över Stilla havet och Monterey Bay. Den femte och sjätte sovrum har en lugn, utsikt över gården ifall någon inte gillar att somna till ljudet av vågorna eller titta på månen sjunka ner i havet på natten.

Vårt hem, känt sedan 1929 som Rocky Shores, är minuter från Carmel och Cannery Row i Monterey, och Pebble Beach är vår granne. Vi arbetar under Pacific Groves korttidsuthyrningslicens # 83.

Vi har en välfylld gourmet kök - och kocken får en havsutsikt också. Matbord stolar 10, 14 med förlängning. Foosball, flipperspel, bordtennis, Legos, konst och ritningstillbehör, pussel, spel och andra leksaker för barnen. Steinway-flygel för musikaliskt lutande. Off-street parkering för sex bilar är tillgänglig.

Downtown Pacific Grove är 1. 5 miles därifrån, med biograf, bondens marknad, restauranger, kaféer, antikviteter, butiker, bagerier och naturhistoriska museet. Den världsberömda Monterey Bay Aquarium och American Tin Cannery butiker är ca 2 miles därifrån, liksom Monterey fiskarnas Wharf. Vinprovning i Carmel Valley är 30 minuter bort. Big Sur är ca 45 minuter bort. John Steinbeck Museum ligger cirka 35 minuter bort. Vi har just installerat ett helthus Rainsoft vattenkonditioneringssystem, samt en trippelfiltrering, omvänd osmos dricksvattenfountain i köket. Inget behov av att släcka vatten på flaska här! Vårt hem är perfekt för familjeåterförening, företags reträtt, tjejersemester eller romantisk semester! Pacific Grove Golf Links ligger tvärs över gatan.

Family Reunion and Birthday Celebration

We convened from various places in th US to enjoy family and commune together. We also celebrated two birthdays of those with us. The home was charming, well appointed and superbly located. The host were accommodating, but invisible, a wonderful combination. Our stay was an enjoyable success.

Magical Moments & Memories

Our trip was magical - the location of the private beach, the home itself, and the hospitality of Kirstie & Hannah were unmatched! The pictures do NOT do it justice. There was plenty of space for our party of 7. The kitchen was well equipped with anything we could need/want. We LOVED the fireplace, the spa (which was pre-heated), the movie room (and selections), the puzzle station (with so many puzzles), the pinball machine & ping pong table, and being one with Mother Nature (in luxury)! There are multiple nearby trails to explore the beautiful surroundings. Our overall experience was spectacular - we made so many wonderful memories. This home and overall experience was truly one of a kind - highly recommend (10/10)! We will definitely return. Thank you Kirstie and Hannah!

Great Family Vacation

Amazing Property! There is so much to do in the area, but with a private beach and our own tide pools to explore, we rarely left. The house is designed very well for a multi-generational family vacation. Many spots to sit and relax and watch the waves. resident sea otters were in the bay every day. The pinball game was unexpected surprise to us. We didn't think we would enjoy it so much a whole family competition with our 7 yr old winning.Kristie said that the kitchen was well supplied. That was an understatement. Everything you can need for coking.Hannah did a great job checking us in and walking us through the house. a great week

Wonderful home and location!

I can’t say enough about this wonderful house. As some other reviewers have noted it isn’t as sterile or hotel-like as other rentals. It feels like a home, which helps make you feel Immediately comfortable. You can’t find a better location on the Monterey Peninsula. The tranquility you’ll feel watching the sunsets while sitting behind the house is unmatched. And the tide pooling is ridiculous! My kids spent the better part of each low tide exploring the rocks (the Great Tide Pool is a 5 min walk). Kirstie and Hannah are terrific and willing to help as much or little as you might need. I miss the sea smell immensely.

Fantastic Home in an Unbelievable Location

This house truly delivers on the idea of renting an 'ocean front' property. While you are there you are surrounded by the sound and views of the ocean, and the beach is just a handful of steps off the back door. We spent hours with our pre-teen kids on the beach at low tide investigating all the tide pools. Whether it was on the couch with morning coffee, a drink at sunset, or from the hot tub, we never got tired of the view.The house was lovely -- there's ample space and the rooms were all incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed, and since we often prefer to cook this was a huge plus for us.Lots of fun activities for the kids between the pinball machine, ping pong, a puzzle table, the hot tub, and the beach. Also a quick drive to the aquarium and cannery row.Was a magical trip, and everyone in the family is already asking when we can go back!

Fabulous place

We had 9 members of our family together to celebrate a special birthday. The home is right on the ocean with gorgeous views of the sunset. Every room is comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with whatever you could need. When we had one little problem the owner responded immediately to fix it. There is so much to do in the area, but if you never left the house, you'd be perfectly happy!

Wonderful family gathering

Our family, all from out of state, gathered here for Thanksgiving, 2024. The location is incredible, literally on the coast. There are so many things to do in this area we could’ve stayed here much longer, but some needed to return to work. The house was built in 1928 and still retains some quirks, but it has been extensively and attractively remodeled. We agree with the many other 10/10 reviews.

Amazing seaside location…Beautiful home!

Our family totally enjoyed all that this wonderful seaside home had to offer! Lovely morning sunrise views from the hot tub, spectacular sunsets, s’mores by the fire pit, tide pooling & lovely evenings surrounded by the warm ambiance of the wood fireplace . Adults and grandkids couldn’t have asked for a better location, home nor host that made our stay so memorable!

Family Reunion Vacation

We had an awesome 5 day multi-generational family vacation thanks to the hospitality of Kirstie. The house was gorgeous and was stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. The location was perfect, and we were close to many restaurants and shops; and there were many activities for us to do. The views were spectacular, and we could see otters and whales right from the windows of the home. Kirstie was available to answer all questions, and she made us feel very comfortable and right at home. We highly recommend this vacation rental!

Beautiful Property

The house gave my family of 9 room to spread out as well as come together at dinner. Kirstie provided everything we needed during our stay and was easily available to answer questions. The views are amazing and the easy access to walking trails was great. Loved this house

Family Reunion

What a beautiful home! This home was perfect for our family gathering. Kirstie and Hannah were very welcoming and we received a very informative tour of the property upon arrival. The home was spotless and kitchen well stocked for cooking. The views of the sunset were breathtaking. We had a fabulous stay.

Thomas family vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at your beach home. We mostly cooked all our meals at the house. We used the barbarque for great outdoor cooking as well as the kitchen stove top and oven. Loved the large dining room table for family get togethers and the views of the ocean , tides and rocks were amazing. The kids used the hot tub and enjoyed it immensely. Would love to go back in the future. Thanks for sharing your home with our family. 😊. Jim

Beautiful 5 star home, yet cozy and comfortable

Our whole family stayed. All said it was the best vacation they'd ever had. The house was fantastic and the owner made sure that we had everything we needed. It was an incredible time with memories to last forever!

Family vacation

The property was very clean and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed long walks on the easy access paths to searching for sea glass on the private beach during our stay. The views were absolutely amazing!! I Look forward to returning to this property. The caretaker on the property is very respectful of your privacy...you don't even know they are there.

Fantastic location and Service

This house was a perfect fit for a small group of friends getting together to just hang out and have a little relaxation and fun. Perfect location, plenty of room, lots of amenities. Hannah and Kirstie provided top notch service anytime we had questions on the house or needed a few extra supplies. We will be back!

WONDERFUL

Our stay with a large family group was perfect. This location is truly as beautiful as it looks. I wanted views and it does not get any better. The home was clean, maintained and well stocked for a group our size. The owner was very helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing location and well appointed home

We stayed here for a week with our adult children and grandchidren. Hannah met us when we arrived and gave us a tour that introduced us to the property and all of its quirkiness (in a good way). It was quiet and comfortable and had every amenity we could ask for, from the chefs kitchen, the hot tub, the fire pits, and of course the Pinball machine which got exercised regularly (963,000 points here, killing the competition from the millennials!). The views are amazing. A great find and I highly recommend staying at this jewel in pacific grove.

3 Generations of Fun

House was perfect. 3 Generations of family and no one was in anyone else's way. We all enjoyed the beach, the waves, the sea creatures and of course the competition on the pin ball machine. We were there for 5 days and never had the tv on., Heaven.

My family has been blessed to spend 35 years in one of only two beachfront homes in Pacific Grove. You will love staying here, too! Our short-term rental license is #468.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We bought our home because it was the only home directly on the beach in all of Pacific Grove. It was extremely private, with a golf course across the street, State Park surrounds us, and the blue Pacific is our backyard. We have a full acre of private property. Another residence has since been built next door, on its own acre of land. A portion of our stone driveway is shared by both homes.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I love to look out my window and see the full moon casting sparkling light onto the dark waves as it sinks to the horizon. On clear evenings, the sunsets are spectacular. The morning sunrise casts a pink glow on the waves. And when it is foggy, there is a magic about the property that is enhanced with a roaring wood blaze in the fireplace, or a glass of wine in the hot tub.
