While the home is within walking distance to the beach, multiple public parking lots offer beach access up and down the coast, making it easy to load up all your gear in the car and hit the sand in minutes.

The expansive pool deck is surrounded by canopy coverage, offering some relief from the sun. The furnished patio includes a table for alfresco dining.

The updated interior comes beautifully appointed for modern family comfort. A stylish coastal theme complements the home's beachside locale. A large leather sectional, comfortable armchairs, and a smart TV you can use with your own accounts welcome group gatherings in the main living area. Bean bag chairs and a second smart TV offer a breakaway entertainment space for younger guests. Gleaming counters and a sleek suite of stainless steel appliances will inspire culinary creations in the full kitchen. Home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Do not rent

This home sadly was not at all as advertised. The pool was unusable. Washer/dryer didn’t work. One of two bathroom showers didn’t work. It was very difficult and my family left after our first night. At least Vacasa has assured us of a refund and the neighborhood was nice. That is all I can say was good about it.

The Green Lagoon!

The listing was not accurate to what we walked in on! House was clean but had old house smell. Which didn’t bother us! What bothered us was the fact we drove over 5 hours to be told on the way there that the pool had “skimmer” problems! Yeah no when we got there pool was so green and dirty u couldn’t see bottom! It was blown off by vacasa! Like oh they will come and clean it on Tuesday, mind you it was Saturday! No we paid more for fact we had a pool! Now we couldn’t use it! Was very upset and ended up moving properties! They should really rethink the name for this place to the “Green Lagoon”!!!!!

A few things I wish had been different. But overall I would rent again.I was reimbursed for what ...

The rooms were big, the sheets were clean and the beds slept very well. Never run out of hot water, The kitchen is very well supplied with things needed I was for the week.

Great location and layout, but cockroaches everywhere.

The house looks nice and is convenient to the beach. My kids loved having the pool. However, there were some issues, like no towel racks, no wall electricity in the master, and the constant cockroaches crawling everywhere.

Huge Let Down

Our difficulties began as soon as we picked up the key on Saturday. Upon arrival, the property manager informed us that housekeeping was running behind and that we might not be able to enter the home for up to two hours. Later, at 4:30 PM, she texted to say it would be another hour. We arrived at the property shortly after 5 PM to find no one there. I texted Brittany to ask if housekeeping had finished, but received no reply. After waiting 15 minutes without a response, we entered the home and found it had been cleaned. The property manager also told us to reach out if the pool needed attention, and that it could be cleaned daily if necessary. I texted her on Sunday with a photo of the cloudy water, but again received no response. Here are the issues we encountered with the home:•Front right stove burner did not work; front left burner’s outer ring wouldn’t heat.•Refrigerator was not cooling on day one—we had to purchase a cooler and ice. Fortunately, it began cooling by Sunday morning.•Electrical outlets in the master bedroom did not work.•Master bathroom showerhead was broken (maintenance eventually replaced it).•WiFi was out on Monday and Tuesday. Dianne resolved it by replacing the router on Tuesday. She was the only Vacasa team member who was helpful and communicative.•Master bedroom did not cool properly.•The second bedroom with the king-sized bed also had poor cooling.•Washer spin cycle didn’t work; clothes were left soaking wet. Blue Lagoon

Our family enjoyed this house, the layout was perfect and we spent most of our time by the pool. It’s could use a few appliance upgrades, the dishwasher was being worked on while we were there and the dryer took a long time to dry anything. The pool was cloudy when we arrived but the pool company came out and cleaned and treated it right away. Overall it was a great house.

Great for extended family get together!

Unique floor plan surrounding the pool & courtyard area. The home's floor plan allowed our extended family private "wings" of the house but central living areas to gather together. The weather didn't agree 100%, but our nephews enjoyed the pool nonetheless.

Perfect getaway even under a tropical storm

We stayed at this beautiful house during the recent tropical storm that hit NC. The place has everything you need even if local retail stores are close due to bad weather. Power went out but that was out of their control.

Sweet Oasis

Our family had a wonderful time at the Blue Lagoon. So much space inside and out, my girls are ready to book again for next year. Very family friendly, lovely kitchen for big family dinners and nice private pool. We did have a couple of minor issues upon check-in, AC, Shower Drain, wet floor. We contacted Vacasa and they had a very friendly maintenance man out within the hour. We would rent Blue Lagoon again without hesitation.

We got moved to another property. The pool is horrible. It does not look like the pictures. It was dirty and not maintained. The pool deck is horrible looking. The pool furniture is rusty. This property needs power washed on the exterior and pool deck. The inside floor was not cleaned by the cleaning service. There were roaches on the inside.

Blue Blue Lagoon Vacation

We arrived early after driving over four hours to get there! We were told the home wouldn’t be ready until at least an hour and a half to 2 hours later than the advertised check in time of 4:00pm! Once we did get into the home we found a host of issues. A receptacle cover was missing, the master bedroom toilet seat cover was broken and the toilet needed plunging after every use. The other toilet seats were loose as well. There were lights not working at the outside back doors to the pool! The pool was very cloudy and unclear. The patio area was very unclean to include broken glass,a rusted fish hook,cigarette butts, other trash and leaves and bamboo! Not to mention the patio furniture was dirty as well! For the money this place cost we were very disappointed in the condition! Wouldn’t recommend this place until changes are made to both upgrade the pool and home!

Unacceptable

Arrived to this property only to open the door to some form of water leak that upon discovery of where it was located was clear that it had to have been known about by at least the cleaning service as there was a jug of water and pipe parts next to the leak. Immediately contacted the phone number for issues to which they responded quickly and were sending someone out. Then proceeded to check the rest of the home and discovered a drove of roaches (roaches happen at the beach, the problem was the amount of them), then it did not appear the location had been cleaned thoroughly and in examining the space discovered a disgusting pillow stored in the closet with additional wares. The smell of moldly mildew was strong throughout the house. Poorly maintained and such a shame because with proper care it would be lovely. I have never been so disappointed, you hear about things like this happening but never expect it to be to you. We left immediately and requested a refund and Vacasa has poorly communicated since and has not offered a reasonable refund. They could have easily released the location for some other poor soul to rent but chose not to, why I have no idea and now I'm being financially punished for their negligence of their property. Would not recommend this location nor booking with Vacasa.

Online listing was great. Upon arrival, the rooftop had major debris and gutters were clogged. Nothing was done about this. The pool was very dirty and took 48 hrs to be cleaned. I spent 4 hrs cleaning it myself. Trip hazards located around the pool. Missing cover located at pool skimmer. Damaged pool trim. A sharp broken knofe was locwted at pool deck. Pool deck was very dirty. Crab shells and food was found at pool deck. Broken bedroom drawers, dryer took 3 rounds to dry clothing, master bedroom patio door sweep fell off, trash never picked up during our stay(9 people total creating waste) was very disturbing. There was also a large dead squirrel on the patio upon our areival that my 2 year old found. I remived it myself as it took 5 hours for maintenamce to show up. I was told the property was under new ownership and the owner was not aware of these issues that existed. I was in contact about this and many other issues during our stay. I was told someone woukd come out to resolve these issues which never happned. I was then told I would be credited or refunded and someone would reach out about this but no on has as of yet.
