This property is at an amazing location. It has all of the beds described and had everything we needed for our trip. I do agree that there needs to be some upgrading but myself and the guests didnt mind it. The vents need cleaning especially the one by the dining room table that had black spot accumulation. The overall place was good and what we were looking for. Quiet area. The beach was not crowded despite it being Labor Day weekend.

Best views by far!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Based on other reviews we knew this wasn’t a mint condition super updated unit. However...even so we chose to overlook that because the views are incredible. Tons of space, super private balcony, easy to navigate building, easy check out procedure, any basic amenities you could need!! Property company great! Loved having the washer and dryer and ice maker! Never had to wait for the elevator, never didn’t have a luggage cart to use. Absolutely could not hear another soul or entire stay! Beautiful palmetto dunes grounds!! Overall a great stay!

Captains Walk

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and grounds are wonderful! The air conditioning does not function properly for the size of the condo. There are no ceiling fans in the unit. We ended driving to Walmart and purchasing a fan to be able to sleep well with air movement.

You obviously scrub the negative comments, so, there’s no point. It’s also painfully obvious the investors of this property don’t care about the guest experience, only the revenue. I’ve been coming to the island for twenty years, and I would be not only embarrassed but ashamed to offer a property in this condition in Palmetto Dunes of all places. Beyond disappointing. I simply won’t be booking with your company again.

Thank you for your review. No, we do not scrub the reviews and the owner of the property just passed away a week ago, so I am sure that eventually the unit will be updated with a new owner. Hopefully, you still had a nice vacation on Hilton Head Island.

Peaceful and inviting.

The property is well taken care of and offers wonderful viewing of the entire area. We have been in some of the other buildings and all have been excellent. The grounds are inviting to walk through and enjoy all the beautiful growth. The units we have rented have all been the same, clean, up to date, and offering extras for our use & nearby shopping.

Great view, great location, and beautiful property.

We enjoyed this rental. We were able to book this very last minute and enjoyed the breath-taking ocean views, dolphins feeding, fishing boats, and deer on property. The beds were very comfortable and the condo satisfactorily accommodated. The living room furniture was not very comfortable but we still very much enjoyed our stay and walking proximity to Palmetto Dunes Pickleball club. Very quiet place to stay. Hardly knew we had neighbors with the building’s design.

One of the best stays at Captains Walk

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 4th time staying at Captains Walk, one of the better units we stayed in. Clean, easy to access beach, and quiet. The view was amazing, can see the sunrise from the balcony. Unit can use a couple updates/paint and there was issue with closet door in 2nd bedroom, but I consider these minor issues and did not effect the quality of our stay. I would definitely rent the unit again.
