We booked this house very last minute. Everything could not be more perfect. Julie the host was super friendly and responsive from the booking to a basic question about the property when we arrived. The location was perfect and the house and property were spotless. The beach is beautiful and just steps away. Plenty of food options within an easy walk and many others a short beautiful drive away. Our pup settled in just as quickly as we did. Would highly recommend this rental and we are already planning our next booking here for next year.

This is our third stay at the beach bungalow. We had another incredible stay. Julie is a wonderful host and the property is well maintained. Each time we stay we see improvements. The house has everything you could ask or wish for. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you for having us.

Julie is a superb host - the house is exactly as advertised and so convenient to the beach town as well as being steps from the beach. Everything you could want is within walking distance, food, icecream, even a brewery and mini golf! Julie has a well stocked kitchen with equipment and even some spices so you don't have to buy at the store if you plan to cook meals in. She also had coffee filters for the coffee machine which I sometimes forget. The backyard is spacious and there is a wonderful outdoor shower for after the beach to get all the sand off after spending time at the beach. She also provided a ton of beach equipment - we brought our own chairs, umbrellas, etc. but there is definitely equipment there to use if you need it. There are bikes too! I loved this house - it fit us, our dog and our adult kids perfectly - we had 3 there for a couple of days (1 on a blowup mattress) and then 2 for the remainder of our stay who fit in the 2nd bedroom just fine. Highly recommend checking this property out!!

Adding my 2 cents and 10 stars . . .

I can only join with other renters and sing the praises for this precious Blue Beach Bungalow! It’s clean, convenient, comfortable, cute, cozy . . . I could continue. The owner, Julie, was very prompt at communicating when I had a question. A bonus for me was the well equipped kitchen— that is always something I appreciate because our family loves to cook when we are together! Added Bonus: Our little Yorkie, Lily, loved the fenced yard! I loved that every space under the fence was obviously carefully closed so a small dog could not escape to go to the beach on their own!

Cute and convenient

Close walk to beach and restaurants. Nicely size rooms and back yard. So nice that plenty of everything was available to use - beach chairs, umbrellas etc. Kitchen was well stocked with everything.St Augaustine was sooooo clean, beach is the best! The flags for crossing the street are helpful and very thoughtful. We really enjoyed biking on the hard packed beach. The house has bikes to use but we brought our own.Would definitely return or recommend this house to freinds.

Perfect Relaxing Beach Getaway

This adorable beach house has everything you could need and want for a peaceful, fun, vacation. It has all the conveniences of home only it is better because it is so close to the beach and restaurants you can walk to them. The host makes everything so easy and enjoyable. This was the perfect place to spend time with my friend. It was clean, well equipped with everything we needed, and newly renovated. It was a great location - only a block from the beach. And the Host was super helpful and responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely rent this home again.

True VRBO

Julie, the owner, was very communicative with us. Our reservation was affected by hurricane Helene. On our end, not hers. We had to delay our trip by a day. However, she offered for us to come a day early if we could at no extra cost to us. This was a true VRBO as it had a homey feel, many extras from beach gear, bicycles, to kitchen essentials you would find in anyone’s home. Short walk to the beach. We felt very comfortable and relaxed at the Blue bungalow!

PERFECT LOCATION

We enjoyed our time at the bungalow the location is perfect the beach is a short walking distance as well as restaurants and shops. The bungalow was as charming as it was listed. The garage was supplied with everything you could need for a day at the beach. The fenced in backyard was a plus for us since we were traveling with small dogs. Julie has thought of everything for a perfect stay. The only downside for me was the backyard was not as manicured as the listed pictures, but definitely nothing stopping me from staying again.

Excellent. Easy, Effortless Stay with Prime Location

The host, Julie, was beyond accommodating and transparent, and her vacation rental was as described. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything you needed at the tips of your fingers. Each room was spacious, including the two bathrooms (very large in size for guests). The backyard had plenty of seating and was fully fenced, which was great for my brother's dog to come visit. The location was PRIME! The neighborhood was decent and safe for walking. The beach was easy to access across A1A, and while exploring Beachside Avenue, there were many coffee shops, breakfast places, ice cream, groceries, fine dining, and seafood restaurants. We enjoyed Kookaburra coffee, Coneheads, and Burrito Works, just to name a few. The AC worked awesomely, with lots of bedding and a comfortable bed. The spare bedroom had twin-size beds, and the kitchen was well stocked with even made-in-the-USA pans to cook, which is essential to us so that we do not have chemicals or toxic kitchenware. Also, the home was not full of heavy perfume smells covering up any odors, and no mold was detected, as some beach homes are older and have passed flood damage. Overall, it is an excellent rental with a professional host, and we would return without hesitation. THANK YOU, Julie, for a memorable trip that was made easy! Melissa & Hector

Blue Beach Bungalow

My wife and I stayed here for the second time with our little dog. We love this place. It feels like new and is neat as a pin. The location, being one block from the beach, is excellent. There are numerous restaurants and an ice cream shop within walking distance. The house is not overly large, but the layout is perfect with one bedroom having an attached bathroom and the other bedroom located next to the hall bathroom. Both bathrooms are very nice. The attached bath has double sinks. There is a separate dining area as well. The kitchen has a little bar area which opens up to the family room. Two couples would be comfortable here if the double beds would work. It was absolutely perfect for the two of us and our dog. Our hostess Julie is great. It's obvious she takes a lot of pride in this home. We highly recommend it.

Always wonderful!

We have stayed here twice now and have our third stay booked. We have been coming to the same area for decades. This house is by far the cleanest. Quietest. And the best host. She has always been responsive right away and the location is perfect. Can’t wait to be back! We love it here !!!

Charming and perfect location

Celebrating wifes birthday this home is perfectly decorated, spotless, and charming. The home has literally everything you could need for a beach weekend you wont need to bring any supplies. 5 minute walk to the beach.

Perfect Beach Cottage

This was the most well kept vacation rental house that my wife and I and our little dog have ever stayed in. Usually we've rented homes that were fine but a little run down and needing some TLC. Not this home. Everything was clean, new feeling and neat. We had no issues at all. It is not a huge home but more roomy than it appears from the street. It is very functional and well laid out. The bathrooms are larger than expected. This house is not for large groups. The location is perfect. Just a short, one block walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants and businesses close by. We will stay here again. Highly recommend.
