This 1st floor home has expansive water views and a short walk to beach, pier, and very popular ''north end''. The Yachtsman offers a waterfront inground pool, bathroom, boat dock, pier, fish cleaning station and ice machine. Assigned parking so you never have to worry about a parking space. Beautiful clean condo and close to everything. The pool was very clean and never crowded. We loved having the dock to put our paddle boards in the water. It was a very relaxing stay.

This was a nice place to stay for our family visit to the Wilmington area. We wanted to stay near the water and that’s exactly what we got. The bed was super comfortable and the view was lovely. It is a close walk to the beach and there is a pool. I actually wish we got to spend a bit more time there!

Great Stay at Carolina Beach

House was as advertised and a great location for everything Carolina Beach has to offer. The kids enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and pool. Barry responded quickly to any questions we had. We will be staying again on our next trip!

Perfect location

First, Barry was an extremely accommodating host, and really quick to respond with any questions. His location is perfect as it provided a view of a marina area while only being a block or two from the beach. It was so tastefully decorated and we will definitely come back.

A great condo with a great view of the bay

We stayed 9/2 - 9/9 and were very happy with the condo. The neighbors were all very friendly, even suggested places to have dinner. Barry, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He even checked to made sure we arrived safely and checked in a few hours after check in. We definitely recommend Barry’s place to others and hope to return. Thanks for a great week.

Nice place

It was a little walk to the beach but not so bad. The condo was very nice, but the pots and pans were very old and in bad shape when we went to cook with them. The owner was very good with communication. Overall a great place to stay.

Carolina Beach Paradise

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Barry's condo. The home has plenty of space for a large family, the beds were very comfortable, and so was the living room. First floor up access is very nice, the view from the porch over the sound is amazing, the pool was wonderful and a 5 min walk to the beach without parking is amazing. Just booked another week for next summer, and already looking forward to it. Thanks Barry!

Annual beach vacation with kids and dogs

The stay was excellent overall! The view from the unit living room (wall to wall windows) and large balcony were breathtaking and the unit was, honestly, very spacious for a beach condo. We had some minor issues with the fridge and the owner responded timely and provided prompt follow up. He, he checked on us a day later to ensure we weren’t experiencing any worsening issues . It was a bonus that the unit had a king bed in the master bedroom instead of the queen it noted in the listing. I will definitely keep this one in my favorites and plan on returning ti next summer😊

Great Vacation

The property is located in a great area. It was clean but is showing some wear. The TV in the living room worked but appeared to have two of the 3 backlights burnt out so there was one area through the center that was bright but the bottom and top of the picture was dim. We didn’t watch much TV anyway. Towels were lacking (no dish towels) and no shower towels to step out of the shower on. Internet is terrible. I would stay there again because it’s very affordable. I would just bring more linens. New owners own this place so I’m not trashing it or them. It just needs a few things and it would be a great place.

My husband and I recently stayed at this condo and had a very mixed experience. The biggest highlight was the stunning view from the balcony. It really made the mornings and evenings so enjoyable. The swimming pool was also well-maintained and a great place to relax. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness of the condo was disappointing. It may have been because it was at the end of the summer. Some of the furnishings were noticeably worn out and dirty. Bring extra towels for bath and kitchenand your own beach chairs. Unfortunately, the Periwinkle Beach access, which is the closest, was closed due to a 6 foot drop. No ice maker or cube trays but there is an ice machine by the pool. The condo has great potential, but it needs a deep cleaning and some new furnishings.Our host Barry always replied to my messages quickly.
