Beautiful rustic cottage with an amazing view!

We loved this simple cottage that seems like it’s been well loved my several generations of the owner’s family. The neighborhood was refreshingly quiet, though only a short drive away from groceries, restaurants, etc. The little neighborhood beach was endlessly fascinating to the kids in our group - and it was very nice to have It so close by. The cottage’s sweeping view of Fisher’s Island Sound were stunning. Sitting on the porch watching the sunset over the water was an experience we won’t forget!

Quaint cottage — great view

Quiet great little spot. Rustic, minimalist, convenient. Perfect for a couple looking for a place to have quiet, read books etc. only other note: Pretty small space so big people beware!

Perfect Location!!

Loved it! Great for kids.

Had a great time here over Columbus Day weekend. Beautiful sunset views over the water. Right next to a little secret beach which is great for the kids to explore. Quiet dead-end road with no car traffic. 5 minutes to Mystic and all the local attractions.

Perfect getaway!

This sweet cottage reminds me of my childhood on the coast of Maine. Suzie is a great host! Everything you’d ever need is provided. There was even a power strip with two iPhone chargers Incase you forgot yours. A rustic place with all the modern needs met. The little semi private beach across the tiny road from the cottage was the scene of my daughters first hermit crab hunt. The dead end point where the cottage is located is quiet and peaceful and the porch has beautiful views of everything going on out in Fischer’s island sound. We were able to relax in the yard on the beach and in the house and loved that you could feel the family history. Really I could go on;) we will most definitely come back to suzies place in the future. Thank you again Suzie!

Lovely quintessential sea shore cottage with wonderful water view !

Loved it, comfortable, clean antique cottage with just the right touch of modern amenities. Mason island is beautiful with tremendous bird wildlife. Lovely homes with shore views everywhere! Close to mystic & stonnington

Adorable Cottage

We were looking for a house rental because my son was graduating from the Coast Guard Academy. We saw pictures of this adorable cottage on VRBO and it looked like the perfect place for our needs - and it was! The view from the front porch is breathtaking. The house has all of the immenities needed. The neighborhood is beautiful. We are hoping to stay here again in 2016 when my younger son graduates from the Academy.

Fabulous Cottage for a family getaway!!

This was the perfect cottage for my family & I!!! It was just as described and then some. The cottage had EVERYTHING you could need to enjoy your stay and feel at home. The view of the sound from the front porch was amazing and being so close to the private beach was great! The kids had a blast (even though it rained for part of our stay we made the best of it). The owner was very accommodating and let us check out at a later time due to the weather finally clearing up on the day we were leaving. It is very close to the Seaport and other activities as well. The Island itself was very relaxing and the people were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this property for ANYONE and we would definitely go back to stay here again. If you are looking for a nice cozy place to enjoy yourself, this is the cottage for you!!! It was PERFECT!

very special property

Quaint, charming cottage with fantastic view of Fisher's Island sound. The covered porch is the best!! Private island location is very relaxed and friendly. Cottage has everything you will need for a special getaway. Easy access to Mystic and activities in CT and RI. We had a wonderful visit.
