I loved staying at this property. Beautiful villa and you couldn't get better views. The bath tub in master could be updated and the bed was hard for me but overall it was a wonderful experience.

Family Thanksgiving

Great location for a family of four getaway. Folly Beach is very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the beach and the condo had everything we needed to prepare for Thanksgiving.

Our reservation was on the tail end of Florence, which fortunately missed the area. The staff was very accommodating and shifted our reservation a few days without having to deal with travel insurance. Great location, and nice accommodations. We saw dolphins outside our balcony window on most mornings! Checkout procedure was a breeze.

Oceanfront Condo

This is our fifth time staying at Charleston Ocean Villas and the second time staying at Paradise Peak. We love the oceanfront condo. The condo has everything your need to make your stay comfortable. The condo is very clean and the balcony has amazing ocean and pier views. Center Street is a quick walk with restaurants or Charleston is about 15 minutes away in the car. We were sorry to have to leave but look forward to staying again soon.

Great Beach Condo for Family

Our family very much enjoyed our stay. The beach views are wonderful and we loved the location near the pier and downtown restaurants. The condo kitchen is well equipped, the flat-screened TVs have great program options and overall the furnishings are pretty nice. It was great that towels were provided even though that was not indicated in the description. One suggestion would be to update the window coverings and insure the windows are cleaned, which would improve the views of the beach. Other than that, a perfect vacation place!

Not much for upgrades

Thank you for the stay. We had a large group of women and needed a second condo for 3 of us to sleep. I was disappointed that the two back sliding glass doors were broken (at least the glass was, but we could open them). Other than that we didn't spend much time in the condo, so didn't really use much but the showers and sleep on the beds.

Great location, just ok

Basic amenities were missing. The toilet paper, while green, would fall apart while using it. It would have been nice to have more than one garbage bag. I know that we are supposed to bring things for our stay, but I have never had to bring trash bags or dish soap for a VRBO property. The dish washer was temperamental. The management company did send someone out the next day, but it was still a it annoying. There was actually nothing wrong with the dishwasher, except for it being a bit difficult to operate. The place overall nice. It had a great view, great location, but wasn't quite equipped as I had hoped.

Updates needed

The condo was convenient when walking into town. Beautiful views from the balcony. The inside needs some updating. The kitchen really needs updated utensils, dishes and pots- not an array of mismatched items that look old and used. Get some glasses( plastic) for drinking juice, water , pop... wine glasses were goblets and only 3. You should have a serving of at least 8 of everything. It doesn’t have to be fine China but useable everyday items. The bathrooms also need towel hangers / bar. One hook on the door is not enough. I think if you provide these simple updates than the condo will be an excellent place to stay with friends or family. On a scale of 1-5 I’d give it a 3.5.

Nice condo with great view

The condo had some recent updates which were nice. But we had trouble with the sliding glass door to the balcony. It was very difficult to open And the handle even broke but was fixed after a day by the maintenance crew. Also we ended up having to borrow salt from a “neighbor” since our shaker was empty. There was also no cleaning spray. So if we had a spill all we had was dish soap to clean up. Almost ran out of toilet paper until I found a stash in a garbage bag in the bedroom closet. There were no kitchen trash bags except the one that was in the garbage can when we arrived. Ended up having to use a big black garbage bag. It would be nice to have a few more extras (spices, tea bags, sugar etc) in the kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Just mentioning these items as a way to improve for your next guests. The beach gear credit was a nice bonus.

Great location and space. Balcony is huge. Clean condo but kitchen supplies were dirty and no dishtowels or pot holders. Beds, sheets and pillows all need an upgrade. Not comfortable.

Great view and great location

We were very pleased with this last minute booking. The location was great - walkable to bars and restaurants. Sizable balcony with a great ocean front view. We didn't cook but the kitchen seemed well stocked. I read comments about the cleanliness of the condo - It was clean however, the dining chairs are a cream color and badly stained and may be the reason for those comments. The check-in code provided didn't work but the property manager responded immediately with a new code. Communication from the point of booking to checkout was very good. The elevator was problematic - It didn't work several times throughout the week; thankfully it was working for check in and check out!

Fun filled week

The condo layout and amenities were perfect for my kids and parents. Some maintenance needed to floor and doors to balcony but everything else was mostly updated and beautiful.

View was the only thing that saved this place

The place needs help! Front door needs paint, walls are scuffed and patio door was impossible to open. Uncomfortable beds and beds without mattress pads. Fans in bathrooms broken. The only thing that saves this is the view. But, the view comes at expense for such an awful place.

Quiet Oceanfront Condo

We love staying at Charleston Ocean Villas. We have stayed at this particular unit numerous times. We love that it is quiet, oceanfront and close to downtown Charleston. We can’t wait to return.

Great vacation spot

Loved being able to wake up each morning and have coffee overlooking the ocean. Condo was great. Rooms were large. Very much enjoyed our stay here.

Needs Updating/Great Location

Location is perfect.Communication with the office at check-in was prompt. (Our code did not work, but they were very responsive-) The unit itself needs a thorough cleaning. Carpets were very dirty. But it was as pictured. We would go back but may pick a different unit.
