Fantastic view. Clean and functional property with accurate photographs, although the living room photo for the listing does not do justice to the ocean view that this property provides. Beach and pool are steps away from the unit. Nice furniture on the deck for meals, morning coffee, evening cocktail. Great location with restaurants and a decent grocery store within walking distance. My wife and I enjoy cooking on vacation and the only reason I did not rate this property as excellent was because the kitchen was lacking a few common pieces of equipment and the kitchen knives were very dull.

Relaxing getaway

Very nice and spacious apartment, great view to the ocean. Very clean surroundings of property and friendly property managers.One suggestion: the coffee maker does not shut off automatically, could become a hazard if left unattended. Will plan to come back!

Super Costal Condo

Terrific condo! Beautifully decorated, clean, and roomie! Gorgeous view from the patio, just the right height to get a full view of the beach. Our two-year-old grandson loved the playground that is on the property. Great hot tub, regular pool, and kitty pool! Will definitely stay again!

Perfect Getaway

This is our second time staying at this property. It is perfectly located on a beautiful stretch of beach and walking distance to multiple restaurants. Perfect size for a trip with family and kids. Definitely the place to go if you want to an easy or quick trip to the beach.

The condo was clean, nicely decorated and updated. The owners also provided beach towels, beach chairs. There was a nice supply of dishes, cookware and spices. Made it easy to settle in and enjoy our vacation.

This is the BEST CONDO we've ever stayed in...The view is FANTASTIC!!along with the very large balcony..Checkin was super easy ..great location to all the resturants,bar and anything else you might be looking for . Awesome family get away

Everything you need for the beach, cooking, and entertainment. Wonderful a.c. system..Stayed really cold. Spacious back patio. Friendly and attentive owners. Close to shopping as well as super view of the beach. Pool is shaded after 2pm. So you beat the heat after the beach.

Girls 70th Birthday Celebration

This is my second time to visit Ed and Mona's beautiful condo on the beach. It was beautiful the first visit so imagine my surprise to walk in and find beautiful new furniture. I had to bring my girlfriends because I enjoyed my visit with the family this summer so much. It was a perfect....again!!!!

Fantastic Condo! This is a beautiful place to stay! We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre Island in this condo. The balcony was HUGE with amazing views of the ocean! The kids loved swimming in the ocean and the pool! The owners do a FANTASTIC job of stocking the unit with dish soap, laundry soap etc. for renters use! We have stayed at many beach places and this one was the best by far taking care of their renters needs! Beds were very comfortable, and the condo was super clean! Beautiful updated kitchen and bathrooms! Thank you for a great 4 days!

This is the condo!!

Love everything about the condo. The view is amazing (corner condo). Property has pools, hot tub, and playground. Not overcrowded. Perfect place to see everything. We could watch our teens (13 & 14 yrs) in the pool, hot tub, and on the beach from our balcony or from inside the condo. The condo has everything you need to cook. It had beach toys, beach towels and chairs. We took our own beach tent, but they did have some beach umbrellas we didn’t use. We were able to wash and dry our clothes and towels, which was a lifesaver. The only thing I wish it had was a handheld vacuum. It did have a broom and dust pan and a large vacuum, but a handheld would have been more convenient and used quite a bit. They also have a box fan!! We brought our own (it’s the only in way we can sleep), but had we known we wouldn’t have. Never had to wait long for the elevator. Owners checked in with us by text and email to make sure we had everything we needed. We only had four people this trip, but it sleeps 8 comfortably. Plenty of pillows and blankets. A/C was cool the whole time. Restaurants and stores close by. We really enjoyed our stay!

Snap this condo up before someone else does! Exceptional!

Beautiful views! This 3 BR condo, 3 BA was just renovated. It has everything you need. Owners, Ed & Monna called me before my flight to confirm details and the weather and things to do for my guests. Very accommodating. When we arrived, security is great, not difficult like some. There's 2 parking spaces at front to allow load & unload w/ bell carts & grocery carts for complex to use. Very convenient. Elevator access to units. Remote keyless entry nice. Condo is lovely! View is perfect from 3rd floor: 1st flr doesn't get to see out to beach, because of dunes. view is perfect down to pool and hot tub. Condo is an end unit & just a quick flight up the stairs if you need access. 3 flights was easy especially bc my kids kept forgetting something. The beach is nice at the property. It's wider there than other property fronts which is especially nice when the beach gets crowded. We were there during Texas college Spring Break. Besides the walkers, there are police on ATVs & safety vehicles driving by + the sunbathers in chairs & my kids running back & forth with their boogie boards. Having wider beaches was safer from that aspect & I really appreciated this condo & all the police & beach safety. The property is clean. There's a trash chute on each floor. The only cons I experienced were 2: 1. We did lose our hot water on a Saturday. After asking other tenants, we learned they did, too. They shared with us that they fixed it by calling maintenance who fixed their circuit breaker so we fixed our own circuit breaker. But we had gone over 24 hours without hot water. 2. The whirlpool jets in the hot tub never operated properly. When turned on, all they did was make this funky sound so we turned it off. No biggie. The property is located central to everything on the island. As soon as you get off bridge, in < 5 min, you've arrived. Restaurants are everywhere. If you need groceries, only grocery store Blue Marlin is < 2 blocks away. If you need to ship anything back home, like we did, SOS is 4 blocks away. If you leave anything behind, like my girls did in a drawer, Ed & Monna, called me & mailed it home. Arrived home, unpacked clean clothes, thanks to Ed & Monna's NEW front load washer & dryers. There is NOTHING we didn't love about this property and the owners! Ed & Monna thought of everything. Memories are great! Snap this condo up before someone else does! Ed & Monna just started on VRBO. I wish they had properties everywhere I stayed.

Walls of Windows

This is our third stay with Ocean Vista/Blue Ocean Vacation. "Wall of Windows" is an open concept kitchen, dining and living space showcasing a view of the Gulf of Mexico and the sunrises are the jewel of Ocean Vista Condos. "Wall of Windows" kitchen is well stocked for preparing family dinners, plenty of seating for dining and family entertainment. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, three full baths means there's never a wait for showers after beach or pool time, washer and dryer are a bonus. We enjoyed the oversized, spacious patio/balcony but mostly my 11 month old granddaughter with plenty of area to roam in her walker. Absolutely cant't wait to get back to Ocean Vista Condos nxt summer : )

Wonderful place

This property is in a great location. It was close to multiple bar and grills that are only a short walk away. The property was well maintained. It is nice that is right on the beach so can enjoy either the ocean or the pool which is just steps away. The unit provides everything you need. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and having a refrigerator that had an ice maker was underrated so I didn’t have to go buy bags of ice all the time. The views from the living space and balcony was impressive. Washer and dryer in the unit was also a great perk. Overall a very nice place. You seriously only need to bring your clothes and cash. Everything else is ready for you. Great job Rosa for making it easy on your guests

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location, beautiful views, spacious, and had all of the amenities we needed. We stated several times that we would stay at this property again in future trips to Soth Padre Island. Owners provided an app that contained everything we needed for this property for our stay. We’ve hoped to have our own vacation home here at SPI, and we are happy to say we have our wonderful “home away from home”, that we’d like to share with you, here at the Ocean Vista Towers!!

Ocean Vista Towers is a wonderfully landscaped and maintained condominium complex, which is next to the soft sandy beach. It’s just a few steps away from our 3rd story condo. We have a fantastic eye-level view of the blue Gulf of Mexico through the wrap-around picture windows, or out on our oversized patio. We enjoy sitting on the patio watching the water and waves roll in. Strolling along the beach, finding shells, watching the occasional dolphins swim by. There’s deep-sea and bay fishing and numerous other water activities. Of course, there’s nothing that compares to the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets over the gulf and bay! No matter which season it is, there’s always something to do here. We love the slower pace of the SPI lifestyle, and we’d welcome you to come and relax and enjoy our condo in this tropical vacation spot!

This condo has been beautifully renovated. There is a large living area, connected to a fully- equipped kitchen. A round dining table seats 6, and there are 4 counter stools. There are three roomy bedrooms, which sleep 8. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a bathroom en suite. The second bedroom has 2 double/full beds with a bathroom en suite. The third bedroom has another king bed, with the 3rd bathroom serving as the guest bath. All baths have tiled showers and hair dryers. The laundry room has a full-sized Maytag stacked washer and dryer. There is a TV in every bedroom and the living room. There is cable TV, free wi-fi, and internet. The convenience of our condo complex is it’s in a great location: just walking distance to a grocery store, several restaurants, gas stations, beach shops, and water sports. Another convenience is the free city bus “The Wave”, which runs on a great schedule for those without a vehicle and goes as far as Port Isabel. This condo is recommended for families with children of all ages, adult couples’ retreats, romantic getaways, ladies and gentlemen getaways, adventure seekers, sightseers, birdwatchers, fishing galore, tourists without a vehicle, and any sun, sand, and beach lovers!

The city of South Padre Island has many activities for all age groups. We wanted to be a part of this wonderful vacation spot where there’s deep sea and bay fishing, dolphin watch tours, and many other water activities. There are dozens of fantastic restaurants to choose from and nothing compares to the seafood of the Gulf of Mexico! Watching the amazing sunrises and sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico and the Laguna Madre Bay are a special treat! There’s always something to do here, no matter what time of the year. We hope you’ll come choose to stay in our relaxing “Little piece of South Padre Island”, down in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas!
