Belle's House

We had a great week here. Marty, our host, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He arranged for lobsters one night, recommended an excellent place to buy steamers and another to buy crabmeat. He gave us passes for a small dog friendly beach nearby. We would recommend upgrading the dishes, cookware and bed sheets. It would have been nice to have a vacuum (we had dogs and went to the beach).

Quaint Home with Beautiful View

Perfect size home for a small group (we had 5). Great location for day trips to Bath, Boothbay, Freeport, and more. Host is super friendly and attentive! We loved being able to take advantage of the Resort restaurant and grounds.

Rustic and Homey

Was a very relaxing Maine vacation! Very private and beautiful setting. Loved the cove view from the spacious deck. We also floated on our rafts in at high tide. Beaches were beautiful and close by. Enjoyed the Sebasco Golf Course and restaurant overlooking the beautiful harbor views .Marty was welcoming and very helpful! Just the vacation we needed!!

The property was perfect for our family. Low key and quiet. Marty and Brenda are great hosts they brought us lobsters right off the boat. We had one small issue it was handled right away. They checked on us to make sure everything was going ok. We booked the property for next year.

Outstanding and fun-filled stay!!!

Our family absolutely loved its visit to Marty and Brenda’s gorgeous place!! This is our 4th year and we have already booked a stay for next summer! Belle’s House is located in a perfect spot overlooking Round Cove. It is clean, cozy and welcoming, and Marty and Brenda are the most warm-hearted and gracious hosts. They always check in to make sure everything is perfect and every year we have enjoyed fresh and delicious lobsters straight off their lobster boat! There are so many activities accessible for a family including hiking, tennis, bicycling, kayaking, shuffleboard, golf and a nearby restaurant. We cannot rave enough about this unique and special place, and you will never find more wonderful hosts than Brenda and Marty!

Amazing location and well maintained home.

We loved our stay at Sebasco Estates. Marty is the host with the most! The view of the cove is peaceful. I paddle boarded all throughout the cove. Lobsters right off the boat. The house although generations old is unlike any old home we have stayed in. The doors and floors do not creak making it easy sleep in. Well equipped and comfortable. This one gets a 10!

Cove view private cottage

From the start, our hosts were welcoming and responsive..the best communication we have ever experienced. The cottage is charming and was spotless upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay: gas grill, washer and dryer, two long clotheslines, Wi-Fi, and fans for every bedroom. The bedroom with the light wood is off the kitchen on the ground floor and has private access to the bathroom off the kitchen. Three more bedrooms upstairs with another full bath. The violet bedroom has a lovely view of the cove, while the twins and the other queen have wooded views. We loved this cottage and especially our welcome hosts Marty and Brenda. Thank for for an unforgettable week!

Another Fantastic Week at Beautiful Belle's House!

My teenage sons and I (and dog) had another wonderful week at Belle's House! The location is fantastic...very close to all the resort amenities yet off the beaten path a bit with wonderful peace and privacy. The house itself has a great layout, with a first floor bedroom/bathroom that can give parents their own space (with the other three bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor). The large eat-in kitchen has all your needs covered, and the living room has very comfy gliders by the front windows looking out at the cove (my favorite spot in the house!). And the wrap-around deck is such a spacious and peaceful place to spend the day looking out at the cove. Best of all, Marty (the owner) is fantastic! He is very reachable/responsive and goes out of his way to ensure his guests' comfort and satisfaction...such a genuine, down-to-earth good person. We are already looking forward to our week at Belle's House next summer!

Wonderful Stay

Marty is always available for questions, has great advice and a wonderful sense of humor. The location cannot be better. Great views, close to Popham beach, restaurants, lobster pounds, clams and oysters. Having a washer and dryer in the house is very convenient. Belle's house was a lovely spot. It was quite comfortable even with the daily rain we had. Our dog had a great time, other dogs around to play with. We had some friends visit 3 days and the house was very comfortable for them as well. The owners were very attentive to our needs and responded quickly and took care of us well. Enjoyed the local lobster pound and the oyster pound as well. Pretty area. Would rent again.

Perfect Phippsburg vacation

House was very clean and ready for us a little early. A plus when you travel with a cat! Marty was so helpful both before we booked and after. Answered all our questions and made many recommendations for food and activities. Both he and his wife Brenda are Amazing hosts . There were many beaches to visit like Head beach, Totham beach and Popham. Popham was like no other beach i have seen. Low tide presents a land bridge connecting to a rock island. Waves from two sides collide when tide is changing. No seaweed either. And lots of tide pools for little ones. Sebasco Resort next to Belles House has a restaurant you can walk to with an amazing view of Casco bay. you can get lunch or dinner and get drinks. We enjoyed eating at Spinneys (near Popham beach) and Lobster House both had excellent service and superb seafood. Short drives to most food and beaches(10 min to Popham) Give Belles House a look before you book your Maine vacation. 4 brs and 2 bath was more room than we needed with our family of 4.

Phenomenal stay at beautiful and cozy cottage!

This is our fourth summer staying at Marty and Brenda's house and each time we love it even more! They keep the place clean and fresh for every guest and they are always so welcoming and gracious. They are available for questions at any time, and they have made wonderful recommendations to us for special beaches, and sources of the best Maine crab and steamers in the area. This past visit we arrived on the later side and wanted to have lobsters the first night and Marty arranged for fresh and delicious lobsters to be delivered on the doorstep upon arrival! The kitchen has been recently renovated and the bedrooms are cozy, and the beds are comfortable. The view of the ocean is stunning from the spacious deck, and access to the water is around the corner for kayaking and walks out on the sandbar during low tide. Marty and Brenda also have beautiful flower boxes and they keep their property impeccably maintained--the expansive front lawn is a perfect space for croquet and other lawn games. We travel with our kids every summer to this special place and everyone in the family looks forward to it...this lovely and charming cottage is a special gem, and we recommend it highly!

Lovely area

It was a very enjoyable stay. It’s very pretty and convenient. We went for a sail with Captain Sean which I highly recommend. Ledge’s Pub is an easy walk and had delicious burgers and cocktails. Plus an ice cream shop. I’m not sure if you have access to the golf course and the pool is for people staying at the resort. We only used the downstairs bed which was ok. We took the plastic off the mattress so our sheets wouldn’t slide. Plenty of towels.Cookware and dishes can use updating. You should bring all your own supplies (spices, etc).It was a comfortable house with a beautiful view. No AC but we didn’t miss it with the windows open. We left our toothbrush charger and Marty was kind enough to mail it back! Of course we had lobster and got it from Crabby’s which was very good but there are plenty of options. Also clams and oysters from Clam Hunters. Definitely visit Totham and Popham Beach. Fantastic!

Quiet cottage with a great view. Marty was super nice, helped us with anything we needed. The house is very welcoming too. We found some restaurants in the neighborhood. Just be careful of iffy network coverage when you are out driving.

Lovely House by the Sea

We really enjoyed our stay at Belle! It was a sweet house with a lovely history. The location was awesome as we were able to walk down to Round Cove every morning with our grand children. The house is located close to the Popham Beach, and an easy ride into Bath for supplies.

Wonderful House, Location, and Host!

My 14 and 12 year old sons and I have been vacationing at Sebasco Harbor Resort for the last eight years. This was our first time booking outside the resort and I couldn't have been happier with our decision. This house was absolutely perfect! It's a great combination of nice privacy but also very centrally located, just a short walk to all the resort's amenities. The large front deck is wonderful, with a beautiful view of the cove and nice front yard for kids to play. The layout of the house is fantastic, with a first floor "master suite" and three additional bedrooms and full bath upstairs (nice for parents and kids to have their own space!). The kitchen is spacious, with beautiful custom cabinetry and everything you need within. And the living room looks out at the cove, with a couple nice gliders by the windows to enjoy the breeze off the water. And best of all, the host was wonderful! Marty is a very friendly, interesting and personable host, and was extremely helpful/responsive, including fixing a blind that snapped off a bedroom window just hours after contacting him. Thanks for a great week and we are already looking forward to our week at Belle's House next summer!
