Excellent location and lovely south-facing patio. Helpful host who was readily available when the door lock combination did not initially work properly. Nice bathroom amenities...thick towels, good size bar of soap (not the little sliver most places provide). I will return on my next teup to Seattle.

Most of this place was phenomenal, but there was a mold or mildew problem in the bathroom (including the washing machine) that made that part of the place almost unusable. I let the host, Melissa, know and she made some attempts to remedy things, but it wasn’t fixable without more significant effort. Once that issue is truly fixed, I’d give this place five stars.

A great stay!

My wife and I stayed at this property for 3 nights in early July while we visited family living in the Green Lake area and during a trip to the Olympic National Park. As the name implies this is a cozy studio rental that met our needs perfectly. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we found parking on the neighborhood street without difficulty. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent!We enjoyed sitting in the private fenced in area or front courtyard with chairs and a table during early mornings or evenings. The interstate 5 and other Seattle neighborhoods were easily accessible. We look forward to renting this cozy studio again if it is available on our future trips to Seattle.

Reasonable Option In Greenwood

Despite the listing's heading, this comfortable and private studio does not come across as "NEW". Somewhat of a mishmash, it also shows some age (particularly in the bathroom.) That said, if Greenwood is a convenient neighborhood for whatever brings you to Seattle, this studio is a reasonable choice of accommodations.

Just perfect

Nice cozy spot in Seattle with lots of great spots nearby. Easy walks to great food, coffee and even the Zoo. The studio itself was very clean and we loved listening to the birds in the morning.

Perfect Spot

It was our first time visiting Seattle. Our host Melissa was awesome. The place was easy to get to, parking wasn’t an issue (recommend smaller vehicles in Seattle). Her place was so clean and had more than we needed for our stay. We will be back when it’s just the two of us again. Thanks!!!

Great place, I look forward to returning

Very impressed, so many small touches that made it extra comfortable. Quality everything, from towels to appliances (example, a Cuisinart coffeemaker), to cooking gear, full size washer and dryer - I could go on and on. Knowing the area a bit, I was a bit worried about on-street parking, but I never had to park farther away than across the street. You won't be disappointed!

This was the perfect place for my husband and I. We loved the location - very walkable to Greenlake as well as good restaurants. The property itself was very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a good stay.

sleeping in Seattle

After a disastrous train trip from Chicago walking into our home for the next few days was a breath of fresh air. The studio is open and roomy, well appointed in all aspects. The owner has gone into great detail to assure that everything you need is provided. Having been time share owners for over 30 years this was our first experience with vrbo or this type of rental. We picked a winner for our first time. The neighborhood is a homey tree lined delight.. A bonus for us was our grandaughter was 2 blocks away. I could go on and on but we HIGHLs Y recommend this property and will have visiting friend and family staying here in the future

Comfortable and Quiet

Melissa’s place provided everything we could wish for. Everything is clean, comfortable, and tasteful. The kitchen is well-appointed if you feel like cooking, including a handy supply of staples. The towels are fluffy, there are toiletries that you might need. The apartment was super quiet and the neighborhood is great.

Hello, I am a midwestern transplant who has called the Seattle area home for 20+ years. I have enjoyed many things this area has to offer including scuba diving, hiking, golf, wineries, music, food, boating, and skiing. Seattle is a wonderful play ground with a temperate climate. You can virtually do any sport, if you are dressed for the weather. It's usually pleasantly warm in the summer with cool nights and warm days and reasonably cold in the winter 40's during the day and 30's at night. Yes it rains in Seattle. When its raining in Seattle, its snowing in the mountains, which means winter outdoor activities are just a 1-2 hour drive away.
