Lovely month long escape from Midwest winter.

Loved the location and view that this home offered. We could walk for miles along the coast or head into town to various restaurants. We took day trips to Big Sur and Santa Cruz and enjoyed Monterey and Carmel as well. The home was comfortable and it’s location was beyond perfect!!

Best location in Pacific Grove

First of all the view from the slightly higher elevation is spectacular. You can see from Lovers Point and Hopkins Research facility almost 180 degrees towards the beginning of Asilomar. The location is also perfect because you are away from the busier cottage section of Pacific Grove but still close enough to enjoy the great restaurants and everything Pacific Grove has to offer. An amazing coastal walking trail which goes miles in either direction is right outside your door step. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, the couch in the living room with motorized recliners made an excellent indoor meeting place with ample room. Spectacular views are available from the kitchen, living room and master. The deck is wide and has a propane firepit which is perfect for chilly evenings. All the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms well designed.

Beautiful House, Fantastic Location

This is such a wonderful house. It’s located a minute walk to the Bay and a great coastal trail for walking or running. The back deck is the full length of the house and looks right out over the water. Sunrises are spectacular. The house is very well-maintained and amazingly well-appointed. Super comfortable beds, a giant couch with recliners and a kitchen that has everything you will need. The hosts, David and Celeste, are very responsive and just great to work with. The neighbors are awesome as well. You will not have a single regret when staying here…except maybe the desire to stay a lot longer…

Ocean view happiness

This great home had everything we needed to feel like home. It is a half block to the ocean and a never ending sandy trail right along the ocean.

Sweet spot

This was a wonderful spot for a few weeks of Covid respite. The house is comfortable and well appointed, the view is amazing and the location can't be beat. Highly recommended!

Celebration Weekend

We rented this beautiful property for a get together with friends to celebrate 4 birthdays & a chemotherapy graduation. The property was clean, comfortable, has spectacular views, a great location and ample parking. The check-in process was effortless and property owners were very responsive. This property get the highest of recommendations from this group.

Highly recommend with fabulous view and awesome host!

The home is immaculate and well appointed with everything you need for a family. The host was very responsive and our stay was wonderful. The view is amazing and the close proximity to the coastal trail was the best! I highly recommend this VRBO!

Wonderful Views, Great Location

This property located by Lover's Point has great views from inside the house from 2 bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen eating area. There is a long balcony on the second story with these views so you can enjoy the views outside also. The house is well maintained, decorated well and nicely appointed. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything was great about the property. I want to return.

An amazing weekend getaway!

Awesome Pacific Grove charmer

This lovely home in Pacific Grove was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Peninsula for the Monterey Jazz Festival, the home was well appointed and every detail was considered to provide travelers with a welcoming environment. Celeste was easy to contact and very responsive. The bottle of wine was a special touch which we enjoyed while viewing the sunset on the back deck overlooking the ocean. It was hard to leave this paradise. We plan to stay here again the next time we are in the area. Five stars for sure!!! Thanks to David and Celeste for sharing this great property

Wonderful family time

So much to enjoy! Super view of ocean, loved the fire pit and deck...easy access to things and places we wanted to do... didn’t have time to ride bikes, would have enjoyed that.... next time!

Beautiful

We had a wonderful experience at the house for a golf week. I love the reclining sofa that let you stare out at the ocean. The fire pit was beautiful at night, and the location was perfect!

Stunning ocean views.

We so enjoyed our stay at the beach house. We are from the area, (lived there for 17 years), and enjoyed reliving our families memories. Monterey Bay is simply remarkable and this beach house compliments the experience perfectly. We've stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and what has set this home apart from the rest is how we felt like we were staying with friends. The home is very comfortably appointed. The sectional alone is worth 5 stars. : ) The decor was impeccable. We cooked most of our meals in the house and managed nicely with the supplies. Small touches like the complimentary wine, (thank you, Celeste), lap blankets, books to read/movies to watch, and live orchads, all give the feeling of a thoughtful "home" experience. We enjoyed watching the momma seagulls take care of their young ones on the neighboring roofs, while drinking coffee in the morning and watching the sun rise. So tranquil. Many walks up and down the beach path and the trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium were perfect; day trips to Pt. Lobos and the Lodge at Pebble for drinks. Also, make sure to try the Wild Plum Café for breakfast – a favorite of ours for years. Communication with Celeste was perfect. Check-in/out easy. Will definitely return. Make sure to sign the guest book.

Nice House, Fabulous Views

My family enjoyed our stay in this well-maintained house with sweeping ocean views from the breakfast room, living room, master, and deck. Beaches are within walking distance, and there was a beach umbrella, ample beach towels, and sand toys and such at the house. There were two aquarium passes as well, which we really appreciated (saved us a lot of money!). I would note that there is a lot of separation between the upstairs master suite and the two downstairs bedrooms, so if you have little kids you might want to bring a monitor.

Beautiful house across the street from the beach

My two kids, husband and I all enjoyed this property. I went on several long walks along the ocean during our stay. The property is not quite walking distance to the aquarium, however, especially with little kids (we did bring the stroller but it's 1.5 miles to the aquarium). The views of the ocean from the house were lovely and if proximity to the beach is important, I would recommend it. A few things could be improved- ie chips in dishes and there very few plates and utensils. Overall a pleasant stay!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS HOME AND PG!

We were so blessed to come to PG and relax and get refreshed and this home make it so amazingly easy to do. The property was beautiful and well supplied. We loved the reclining sofa with amazing views! WOW...yes we now have to buy one of those. Thanks D&C for an amazing home and blessing us.
