This was our second stay at the property. The location is great and the views are incredible. There are a few drawbacks to the property itself and those are minor. The owners and managing company were very responsive which we appreciated

A Piece of Paradise

This truly is a "Stunning Ocean Front Condo"! The view was absolutely amazing—waking up to the ocean each day was peaceful and unforgettable. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and take in the beauty of Kauai. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Beautiful Condo Right on the Ocean

We celebrated out 31st wedding anniversary in Kauai and stayed at this wonderful condo. It had everything we needed and the view of the ocean was unmatched! We enjoyed watching the waves crash and seeing turtles swimming around in the cove. We definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Kauai and stay in a nice condo close to the water.

Awesome property

We had a great time. Unbelievable location looking out over the ocean, turtles swimming out front every day. Quick walk to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. Lots of room, comfortable beds/furniture, well-stocked kitchen, effective air conditioning. We'd like to stay here again in the future.

Excellent view! Did not disappoint. Condo was very nice.

Wonderful place to stay!

Had such a nice family vacation here. The ocean view was just incredible, very peaceful, and a close drive to the beaches and other places to eat! Check- in and communication were easy and the place was actually bigger than it looked online. Loved the beach supplies that were provided as well as the recommendations that were given! Would recommend staying here :)

Amazing views and location with everything you need

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location and view of the waves crashing on the cove are incredible... front row seats! The location in the south of Kauai was also great and a swimmable beach with snorkeling, sea turtles and seals was just down the road. The check-in and out process was easy and the apartment had everything we needed including A/C.

Great Condo at Poipu

Property is just next to the ocean, great view from balcony. Very peaceful, and secluded unit. Well equipped kitchen, large bedroom, bath and living area. Very close to beaches, snorkeling and shopping centers.

Incredible view!

Sitting in the Lanai watching sea turtles in the cove just feet from us was an incredible and peaceful experience. Also saw some dolphins swim by as well as some sting/manta rays!

Kauai at it's Best

Great property overall. You can't beat being right on the ocean. Everyday we watched sea turtles and other ocean creatures swimming in the bay directly below us. This is a beautiful property, nicely decorated, and quite comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location. Pictures in listing don't do it justice!

This was our third time staying in the Poipu area. This unit was the best of all. We previously stayed in another unit in the same complex, but this unit puts that one to shame! The unit was clean, quiet, spacious, and nicely decorated. It had all the amenities we needed, including a coffee grinder (mahalo!), A/C, and strong wifi. The lanai is perched directly overlooking the ocean which is maybe 30 yards away. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice. It is so close to the ocean! There is a blow hole where the waves come crashing through. The dramatic surf was pounding and turtles were constantly popping up to the surface through the crashing waves. At night while we were stargazing from the lanai, several white owls were flying in front of us over the water. Shipwreck Beach is a short walk down the pathway accessed through a gate in the parking lot via key provided. Poipu Beach is a 10 minute walk down the hill on the other side of the complex. The unit exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful Stay in Kauai

This is our second stay here at Makahuena 3102 and it was just as awesome as the first time! The views form the bluff side deck are out of this world... especially at sunset! The unit was extremely clean and came fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Will definitely recommend to friends and will definitely be back again to enjoy the pool with the kids (where they spent the majority of the stay).

Perfect in every way.

Stunning villa views

This villa exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the unit was clean and comfortable, and the view off the balcony was unmatched. The host was able to accommodate last minute changes that helped our timeline to our next rental property. Overall 10 out of 10 and we would definitely stay here again. P.S. hiking trail along the cliffs all the way to Shipwreck beach was something we realized on our last day. Highly recommend. Sea turtles in plain view from balcony.
