På övervåningen studio i ett hem byggt ursprungligen som en bed & breakfast, drottning säng, badrum, garderob, pentry med full storlek refrig., Induktion kokplatta, mikrovågsugn, brödrost ugn, kaffebryggare, skärmad Lanai med havsutsikt, WIFI, kabel-TV , BBQ, Gazebo, tvättmaskin på plats, av gatuparkering. Vi ligger mellan Kahalu'u Beach (Snorkel Beach) och Magic Sands Beach, båda ligger inom gångavstånd om du bara vill koppla av på de lokala stränderna. Somna till ljudet av vågorna kraschar kusten. Också bara en 2 minuters bilresa till Keauhou Shopping Center som har en livsmedelsbutik, drogbutik, postkontor, restauranger, biograf, bönder marknaden på lördag morgnar och mer. En 5 minuters bilresa till andra hållet är havet framför centrala Kona. Det har också shopping, restauranger och historiska platser. Du kan komma bara för att koppla av eller vara så aktiv som du vill. Ön har alla vattensporter tillgängliga från simning, snorkling, dykning, surfing, kajakpaddling och stora viltfiske. Det finns många platser att se på turnébilar eller gå ut på egen hand. Du har observatoriet på Mauna Kea, tillflyktsort, utflykter av kaffebrukarna, makadamianötter, vulkaner, lavör, lavaflöden, vattenfall, historiska platser där kungarna och de gamla hawaiierna bodde och mycket mer. Det finns 2 transiteringssystem som körs på Alii-enhet och gör dem väldigt tillgängliga för transport. Ön har några av de vackraste soluppgångarna och solnedgångarna någonsin sett. Titta på den gröna blixten när solen går ner över horisonten.

Awesome, clean, great location. Isaac is a great host, we enjoyed all his recommendations. Magic Sands Beach which is a very short walk was definately our favorite beach in Hawaii.

Close to ocean

Exactly as described

Isaac's place was clean and had everything we needed. Easy walk to beaches. The ocean breeze and sound of waves crashing overnight were great for sleeping.

Great Room, Great Property, Great Location, Fantastic Host

Ideally located between Kona and Keahou, with easy walking to both Magic Sands and Kahalulu beaches. Room is traditional style (screened) studio and very comfortable. Various water gear, coolers, chairs, boogie boards, wetsuits available to borrow. Overall, great value!

Everything We Needed & Close to Snorkeling

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apparment is small, but so close to great snorkeling, that is easily within walking distance. You can see the ocean, but over the roof top of a near-by house. There are other rental properties surrounding you, so depending on who may be renting, that noise level could vary. Quiet during our stay and the host, Issacs was very helpful.

This was a great place to stay for a few days. Wished we could have stayed longer. The Queen Palm was bright, airy, comfortable, and very clean. Would love to come back!

Amazing location and enjoyability

Isaac was great and very responsive to any questions I had. You can't beat the price and location. Just minutes away from many beaches and main town. There is also marketplace just around the corner and at the edge of Kona itself. Can't say enough about what a measure it was to find a great place for that price. Mahalo.

Great studio, perfect if you are going to be out and about enjoying the beauty of Hawaii. If you need a full kitchen rent the larger suite. Perfect if you are doing simple one pot meals and enjoying the excellent dining options down on the pier. Excellent host! Made our first experience with Vrbro excellent. I would not hesitate to rent from this host in the future.

Wonderful!

Location is great - close to beaches and short distance from downtown. Very helpful information from property manager! We enjoyed the use of the snorkeling equipment available at the VRBO with a great snorkeling beach only a mile or so away. Very clean. Noise does carry and other guests were respectful of these rules during our stay. Parking was in a great spot and off the street. Would recommend this place to others!

Isaac was very friendly and accimodating. The room was airy, but still with privacy. The neihborhood was quiet at night and the property was next to a jungle section, so it was very quiet. The open nature of the room allowed it to be cool enough to sleep with the fans going. Overall a good experience.

Awesome place to stay in Kona

We had a great stay! The location was great - There is a street that runs parallel to the beach. The house is on a street that is perpendicular to this street and just several houses up. The room is spacious. Very clean. I liked the open concept. The temperature in the room was great throughout the day and evening during our stay in March. THere is a hotplate and a microwave and nice sized refrigerator. No need to bring beach gear - there are towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear etc. THere was a definite "Hawaiian" vibe. We would definitely stay here again.

No windows has a downside

Isaac has a lovely little studio. Its airy, cheery and well located. I did see one cockroach but it ran away and I wasn't too bothered by it. My biggest issue was because there are no windows that can be closed, which is lovely for air flow, really is a detriment when some sort of animal is screaming at full pitch all night and you can't close the windows. Didn't sleep a wink all night which was unfortunate. Without that tortured cat, I would have given it 5 stars.

Lovely, cozy studio near the beach

The Queen Palm was ideal for me. I loved the partial view of the ocean. The windows are just screens which means that you get a delicious breeze, except for the windows behind the bed -- those have glass and screens. Decor is super tasteful, too. I felt very comfortable and safe. More impressions: + very comfy bed + Clean! Clean! Clean! + lots of extras -- good shampoo/conditioner, boogie boards & fins, books about Hawaii, coffee maker & dishes.... + Location! an easy 15-minute walk (or 3 minute car ride) to Kahaulu'u Beach -- wonderful snorkeling and swimming. Also easy walk or drive to Magic Sands Beach. Very closer to the shopping center (grocery store, Long's Drugs, cinema, bookshop, shaved ice, etc.) Close to Kauohou Bay, too. + Laundry on-site. Bring quarters. There's laundry detergent available. :-) + Two large ceilings fans provided excellent air circulation + There's a lot of beach goodies for use -- towels, sunscreen, boogie boards, fins, pool noodles, coolers, etc. + Loved that there's a patch of "rainforest" next door -- I woke up to the most beautiful chorus of birds :-) + On-site parking + Did not hear noise from the other guests -- property is quiet And....Isaac is a gracious, hospitable host. :-) Things to consider: - This is a studio, so it's ideal for 1 - 2 people. - Kitchenette means hot plate, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. There's a BBQ outside. - No big table for eating. I was fine drinking my tea and eating in one of the chairs next to the coffee table, but others might not. It's a studio, so there's not room inside, but there is a large picnic table outside next to the BBQ. - It's round the corner from Ali'i Drive, so there's some traffic noise, but not much...and I'm a light sleeper I would stay with Isaac again in a heartbeat. It was great!

The space was lovely and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the use of snorkeling gear, water shoes beach chairs and umbrellas. A short walk to great beaches and a quick drive to restaurants and activities. Isaac was prompt and helpful.

Comfortable and attractive

A lovely bedroom with good light, comfy chairs, decent bathroom, no real kitchenette though you can cobble together self catering with what’s provided. Snorkeling and beach gear provided!

Isaac was super responsive and helpful. We found everything we needed and he gave us supportive advice. Being at this island for the first time this was so helpful! We also felt comfortable at the place and slept well. The animals living in the back yard do give it a special touch.

Awesome little spot

Isaac was an incredible host!! Very informative and accommodating. The property was super fun and had everything that we needed. Our studio had screened walls and the birds/frogs were super loud a few nights but there were ear plugs available in the "community supplies" area. All the rooms that we peeked into were beautiful and I'd totally go back and stay in any of the rooms at Palm Hale.

I recently moved to Kona after going to school here when I was 17 (a few years back now haha) I fell in love with the island. I was born in San Clemente and spent the last 20 years before Kona in Santa Barbara California. The weather and water here are second to none, weirdly comforting having the west facing beaches and sunsets. My uncle David moved over here 2012 ish and has been helping me get started with the vacation renting family business :) Looking forward to hosting people from all of the world so they can see this beautiful Island I fell in love with. I'm sure you will fall in love too.

Clean quiet property, Walking distance to Magics and Kahaluu. We are located close to the hustle and bustle of the oceanfront Kona town and yet far enough to get away from it when you are ready to relax.
