Härlig tradicional Stenhus ligger i ett lugnt villa med fantastisk utsikt i bergen Tramuntana .Huset har ett kombinerat vardagsrum / matrum med öppen skorsten i bottenvåningen, intill detta område är fullt utrustat kök (diskmaskin, tvättmaskin, kyl, frys, ugn, mikrovågsugn, spis ...) och ett badrum med dusch. I första våningen finns ett badrum med dusch / badkar och två sovrum. Ett av sovrummen har en dubbelsäng (150x190) och den andra har två enkelsängar (90x190). Alla rum i huset erbjuder vacker utsikt i bergen. Villan har många områden att slappna av omgiven av citron, apelsin och olivträd (NÄRA HIMLEN) terrass med solstolar, många sittgrupper för att äta `` al fresco'', altan, grillplats ... Huset har wifi, SAT TV i bottenvåningen och spanska TV i ett av sovrummen. Luftkonditionering varmt / kallt i marken och första våningen och öppna skorsten i vardagsrummet. Huset är lämpligt även under vintermånaderna. Det är 20 minuters promenad till byn torget. Bara 5 minuter att köra till den livliga och historiska Sóller stan och 10 minuter att köra till den fina stranden i Puerto de Sóller.

Georgeos house in nature but at walking disance to the most charming town of Fornatlux!

We loved the house and the terrace. Location was also great!! Only negative were the beds... would for sure come back!

Excellent stay

We loved staying in this houses situated in the mountains. We managed without a car but you need to be fit enough to walk down the steps into Fornalutx and then back up again to the house. The views from the house were stunning. The house had been cleaned to a high standard and Rosa had provided everything we needed for our 4 week stay. Rosa was really helpful and answered any queries without delay. We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to return.

Peaceful Rural Retreat

Lovely peaceful retreat in the countryside with a good bakery/ coffee shop ten minutes away (and twenty minutes back- uphill 😊. Lovely views and sunset on the mountains.

Beautiful fornalutx

Lovely villa with spectacular views. We enjoyed the walk into fornalutx where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. We walked from the villa quite a few times on some beautiful walks, not needing to use the car very often.

Quiet and cosy place in Fornaluxt

Very nice and cosy house with a superb and relaxing view on the mountains at sunset! We enjoyed it a lot! Don t take a too big car to drive up there, it is a bit of an exercise!

Idyllic

Away from the rat race in a peaceful mountain location. Close to good restaurants, coffee shops and supermarket in Fornalutx, Soller and Port Soller. Well located to visit all the regional highlights. Our host was wonderful in accommodating a very late 2 am arrival after a cancelled flight, and then a delayed flight. I will visit again!

Peace and Tranquility in the mountains

Our 3rd stay in Fornalutx but the first time in this property. Spectacular views, enjoyed sitting on the terrace watching the bird life. You would never tire of waking up to the view in a morning. Rosa was the perfect host, easy handover and responded to any questions. 15 minute walk down to the village and a good choice of bars and restaurants. The house had everything you need, tastefully decorated and very clean. Would recommend Fornalutx as a destination and Rosa as your host.

Super nice stay

We stayed for a week during family holidays with an infant and had a wonderful vacation. The house is set back from the road on the side of a hill. The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet with plenty of orange and lemon trees around and even sheep that come to wander nearby, giving it a very countryside feel. The house itself is very pretty and especially very, very well equipped. Rosa has thought of everything. The village below is very charming and peaceful, which is a nice change from some of the more crowded parts of the island. Just be careful not to have a car that's too big, as the private road leading to the house is quite narrow.

Villa above Fornalutx

Rosa was a gracious host. Communication was great. Super helpful when I asked questions. The villa was spotless. The owner even gave us a bottle wine, water and huge bowl of oranges and lemons. The driveway up to the house is very steep. But that’s typical of the area. Get a small car and pack light. We shopped in Palma before we got to the house. That said, the grocery store in town was well stocked that we did not need to do that. We lived our stay and would love to return to Mallorca some day.

Toller Aufenthalt 👍

Die Finca war super, die Lage mit Blick in die Berge grandios! Die Zimmer waren schön, die Kommunikation mit Rosa klappte perfekt! Im 5 Minuten entfernten schönen Städtchen Fornalutx gibt es zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants. Wir kommen wieder 😊

Gemütliche Finca mit tollem Ausblick

Die Finca liegt oberhalb des malerischen Dörfchens Fornalutx, das bereits zwei Mal zum schönsten Dorf Spaniens gekürt wurde. In nur 10 Minuten ist man unten am Marktplatz und kann im kleinen Lädchen die nötigsten Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs einkaufen. Für größere Einkäufe fährt man ins nahegelegene Soller. Der Blick von der Finca ins Tramuntana Gebirge ist ein Traum. Abends kann man einen faszinierenden Sternenhimmel beobachten. Die Finca ist extrem ruhig gelegen, man hört kaum Verkehr von der Straße und stattdessen die vielen Geräusche der Natur. Das Häuschen ist funktional eingerichtet: Zwei Bäder, zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, Küche mit Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Wasch- und Spülmaschine, Herd… In den Schlaf- und Wohnräumen gibt es Klimaanlagen, die auch bei sehr hoher Hitze gut runterkühlen. Die Terrasse ist groß und gemütlich und wir haben uns vor allem dort aufgehalten. Rosa ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir wurden mit Wein und frischen Orangen empfangen, wir haben gute Tipps für die Anreise und den Aufenthalt bekommen, ihre Mutter hat uns persönlich den Schlüssel übergeben, und jegliche Kommunikation mit Rosa war super schnell und unkompliziert. Allein die Anfahrt zum Haus fanden wir herausfordernd. Wir fanden es mit unserem Auto sehr eng und haben uns die komplette rechte Seite zerkratzt. Wir haben dann in der Folge an der Straße geparkt und sind die 150 Meter zum Haus hochgestiegen. Gerne wieder!

A little slice of heaven

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house this fall. Waking up each day and seeing the beautiful view and greeting the sheep who wandered by made all of our stress and worries slip away. It was a cozy home base for us as we explored the island. We really enjoyed the village of Fornalutx, which seems to be filled with friendly and nice people. Communication with Rosa was easy, and she gave us thorough directions and information before we got there. My only suggestion would be to make sure you rent a small car, as the driveway is a challenge. But we eventually got fairly good at it. I hope we are able to stay here again!

Fabulous week, stunning views

We had a great time here, the house was very comfortable and we loved eating outside under the orange trees. Fresh oranges for breakfast were delicious. Stunning views from the property. It was only a short (but very steep) walk into the village. Highly recommended.

House in hills

The house was in a fabulous location in the foothills just outside the picturesque villa of Fornatlux very quiet and private with just an odd walker passing bye. Stunning views from a lovely patio/ garden. The drive upto the house requires care as it is twisty and narrow in parts and has a tight turning area/ parking space which you get use to after a few goes

Beautiful location

Lovely quiet location with wonderful views. Rosa was extremely helpful with everything. House was very clean with good facilities. Beach at Soller only 15 minutes by car. Village of Fornalux 15 minute walk, although it does take longer on the way back as it’s all up hill. Drive way up to the house is fairly long, narrow and steep so a small rental car is advisable. We loved staying in Rosa’s house and will hopefully return very soon as there is nothing like picking fresh oranges from the garden to drink whilst admiring the fantastic view. Thank you Rosa for a wonderful stay.
