Denna privata gated retreat ligger pÄ 1+ tunnland i en trÀdgÄrdsmiljö och Àr tankevÀckande designad för inomhus-utomhusliv med solfyllda rum frÄn golv till takfönster. Helt inhÀgnad fastighet med gated tillgÄng vid uppfarten. Av gatuparkering.

Master-sviten har en stor stendusch, separat kontor med skiffergolv med inbyggda bokhyllor. Kontors- / master-sittutrymmet Àr en tillflyktsort inom en retrÀtt och har en platt-TV liksom det stora sovrummet liksom vardagsrummet för totalt 3 TV-apparater i hemmet.

Vardagsrum, kök och sovrum har vardera en öppen spis. Köket har dubbelvÀggsugnar och gasspis med grillfunktion.

Arrival late at night in the rain was worrisome but all went according to plan. Site was clean, interior design and furnishings, especially the beds were lovely. And of course the view is to die for. Very close to Carmel and all the coastal attractions to the south, even dinner in Monterey was easy. Hosts were quite accomadating as well.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. A few minor issues came up(accessing DirecTv, the gate remote control), but the agency addresses timely. Great views and setting; comfortable sleeping and entertaining furniture; well equipped kitchen.

Wonderful house with fabulous ocean view. House itself and host customer service are first rate.Kitchen well very stocked with pots, pans, utensils. Don't know why anyone would comment otherwise unless they wanted something specialized. There was even a blender although I suppose there was not electric mixer. Safeway and other stores are a few miles north in Carme. There is a closer pricey convenience store. Carmel itself has lovely shops appropriate for a high end coastal area.Only glitches were: (1) they should make more clear that code to the gate and code for lockbox are different, and you need to have them before you arrive since you may not have cell service, and (2) make wifi password more obvious inside house upon arrival (we had to hunt for it in a drawer).

We loved the Ocean views, it was a beautiful place the rooms were clean the beds were comfortable, close to restaurants, stores, wished we could have stayed longer.

The views of the ocean and the sunsets were so beautiful! We have our coffee on the front patio every morning curled up with a blanket. Great location for exploring Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey. It was very hard to leave!! We will be back as soon as we can!

Spacious home with incredible views! Gorgeous setting, great location, and we appreciated the stocked fireplaces, thoughtful snacks, and comfy seatng and excellent television. Very pleasant and memorable stay!

The home met our expectations - a perfect getaway for a family reunion. The panoramic views of the pacific were beautiful. Every morning I would be the early bird playing Clair de lune and sipping my cup of earl cup. We wined and dined in the Carmel area and BIG SUR - truthfully the most beautiful area in the country.THANK YOU for your beautiful home.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The grounds and view are very beautiful, the house is large and has obviously been rented out permanently.Many of the double glazed windows are blown so hamper the view, all furnishings are tired.We were just two so probably expected it to be better especially the kitchen, one cupboard door would not even shut and I knocked myself many times.

Great Escape

My family and I had a wonderful time in the area and the home was a great place to be when we were not out on a hike. The location is great for heading down to Big Sur or back up to civilization in Carmel. You simply cannot beat the views from the home and the quiet neighborhood. We will be back!

Amazing views - vintage California feel

Really enjoyed our stay here. Property sits high above the pacific with beautiful views of the pacific. House is spacious and was very comfortable for our family of 4. Enjoyed the wood burning fireplace, also they have a telescope to watch the otters in the ocean. Kitchen and appliance are a bit dated, but functional and kind of match the vintage feel of the house. Only Recommendation is to download the welcome packet before arriving because there is no cell service in the neighborhood and you need the gate code to get in.

The house and view were lovely. Only drawback was the kitchen which was not terribly well equipped and difficult to use. Would definitely go back but eat out!

Reviewer Comments: When we first arrived it was foggy/ hazy but the next morning when we woke up and looked out from a wall of windows, the views were “Wow”! The house itself was nice and adequate for our needs and the rental management company responded immediately to a couple of small issues, offering to come out same day to fix the items. I would definitely recommend staying here for the amazing views!!

Great views and location

The views are awesome. It would be nice to have a fire pit on the terrace so it could be use longer. Great house and fireplaces, especially the one in the master. Used it every night and morning. The shower is the master is to die for. Never wanted to get out

Beautiful house and view

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with amazing views of the Ocean. We sat outside, watching the sunset every day and loved the easy location to the Monterey area and to Big Sur! Perfect spot.

Lovely property and awesome property manager

We loved the house and property. Such beautiful views! Unfortunately, we weren’t able to stay for the duration of the trip due to a water main break. While unfortunate, the property manager was very accommodating with cancelation of the reservation while also offering other properties to stay at. I definitely need to rebook this house to get the full experience.
