Med utsikt över gröna fält intill den 18: e. talet Carmel Mission och en strand utanför "Atherton Cottage" är ett hus som är ljust lugn och mysig reträtt. Detta fläckfria miljövänliga stuga har en bekväm king size-säng med lyxiga sängkläder, och renas med ekologiska produkter. Nyligen ombyggda med hand-huggen hickory lövträd och stengolv, Quartz räknare och nya bad. Kom och bli förtrollad på Atherton Cottage! Stugan är inställd för att rymma 2 vuxna eller 4 vuxna och ett barn bekvämt. Det finns en vuxen storlek futon som gör till en säng med ett minne skum topper. Det finns också en uppblåsbar säng med sängkläder om så krävs för en extra gäst! I vardagsrummet soffan öppnar också upp till en mycket bekväm drottning säng med minne skum topper och lyxiga sängkläder, Det finns en extra avgift på $ 50. 00 per person med över två personer som vistas, denna avgift gäller för personer över åtta år, per natt. Atherton cottage is a great getaway spot. It felt like an oasis while still being close to excellent restaurants and shops. The cottage had plenty of space and the king size bed was much appreciated. There are multiple outdoor patios/balconies, 2 of which have ocean views. Overall it was relaxing and would stay here again.

A great little cottage that is totally private and very cozy. Great space inside and a nice deck to enjoy. Parking is easy, and I love this location as I'm a walker and the wilderness trails are nearby for miles of hiking, plus for me it's an easy walk to the beach and the Mission. Great quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this cottage and will definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time at the beautifully remodeled, impeccably decorated, pet friendly charming Atherton cottage. We loved the private location, which is within walking distance to the Mission Trail Park, Carmel Mission and a very short drive to the Carmel Beach and town.The cottage has all the comforts of home from the abundance of cookware and pet dishes to the most comfortable king-sized bed.

Cozy Cottage with great location!

This property was perfect for us! The cottage was well stocked with all the necessities and the master bedroom was spacious! Super comfortable bed and a lot of natural light. Bill was great and very accommodating! We loved our stay and will be back!

The fireplace was very nice while we watched t.v. in the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed as I cooked breakfast each morning. The bathroom had it all. Including, a newly done shower. The bedroom has a huge t.v. fireplace and nice big bed. The outside landscaping is immaculate with water features, staties and lighting. Five Stars

Lovely place

This is a charming place with a great location near the Carmel Mission. The decks have nice views of a canyon. The neighborhood was quiet. Fireplaces made our visit cozy. The kitchen and laundry were great to have available for our visit.

Beautiful Beachy Home

This home was very clean and comfortable. The owners really care about the property and it definitely shows. The view was beautiful and we were able to walk to downtown Carmel. We wish that we could have stayed longer.

Peaceful retreat!

Bill's place is wonderful. So many thoughtful details. All the comforts are covered. And the multiple outdoor spaces around the property are beautiful and serene. He's put so much care into the place and you can feel it. The location couldn't be better for exploring the 17 mile drive, Carmel and Monterey. Thanks so much Bill!

Perfect place to recharge

The perfect place for my wife and I to spend some quality time. The host takes a lot of pride in making his place somewhere you just want to stay when you arrive. We had a full agenda and ended up just hanging around the house more than anticipated. So nice!

Beachy Cottage

My husband and I greatly enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the Atherton Cottage. The house is lovingly equipped with everything to enjoy a peaceful getaway- very comfortable bed and linens, a full kitchen with many essentials for eating in, two gas fireplaces, making it very cozy. The outside garden spaces are charming! Despite intermittent rain, we greatly enjoyed nearby Point Lobos trails and charming Carmel and Monterey. Atherton Cottage was the perfect base for exploring and relaxing. Our host was very attentive and handled a minor issue immediately. We would definitely love to visit again!

Excellent property

We had an excellent stay at Bill’s house! He was very knowledgeable about places to eat, hiking, and the region. He is extremely attentive to all details and the house is well appointed with everything you need. There are many outdoor decks overlooking gorgeous landscaping. We ate in one night and used the very cool mini convection oven, and there is every utensil you could want. The bed is super comfortable and even adjustable. The location is close to Carmel by the Sea and you can walk or take a 5-minute drive into town. Spectacular hiking is just 10-15 minutes drive at Point Lobos, Soberanes Canyon or any of the beaches. We highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Atherton Cottage! This is truly a lovely, cozy, and spotlessly clean retreat.The cottage is so thoughtfully and lovingly decorated and the view and the beautiful outdoor areas are spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Bill was a fantastic host, very accommodating to our needs and gave us some great advice on places we should visit. The deck with loungers was a wonderful place to relax. In the cooler mornings and evenings we loved turning on the fireplaces for some warmth and ambiance. We would definitely stay here again.

The Hardwood floors are of hand scraped Hickory Pecan, there are two fireplaces, custom lighting as well as remodeled Bath with Glass pencil tile Shower over Tub.A Large Private deck with coushion Chaise Lounges, a separate Private deck with table & chairs as well as a BBQ. Atherton Cottage has it's own private parking driveway with lighted brick walkway to the front door. Also included is a full size stacked washer & Dryer.

It is only a few minutes drive to the Beautiful State Park known as "Point Lobos" located right on the Pacific Ocean! There are numerous Wine Tasting rooms as well as Vineyards within a short drive,as well as the Finest Golf Courses in the Country. Just 10 minutes away is the Well known Monterey Fishermans Wharf and Steinbeck Cannery Row with many great shops & restaurants!
