Nyligen ombyggda med hand-huggen hickory lövträd och stengolv, Quartz räknare och nya bad. Kom och bli förtrollad på Atherton Cottage! Stugan är inställd för att rymma 2 vuxna eller 4 vuxna och ett barn bekvämt. Det finns en vuxen storlek futon som gör till en säng med ett minne skum topper. Det finns också en uppblåsbar säng med sängkläder om så krävs för en extra gäst! I vardagsrummet soffan öppnar också upp till en mycket bekväm drottning säng med minne skum topper och lyxiga sängkläder, Det finns en extra avgift på $ 50. 00 per person med över två personer som vistas, denna avgift gäller för personer över åtta år, per natt. As many others have mentioned, Bill has thought of everything. The unit is incredibly quiet, peaceful, private, yet close to all that the Monterey Bay has to offer. I will be returning. Thank you for hosting!

Atherton Cottage

The cottage is clean, nicely decorated, and updated. The host was attentive, even bringing coffee filters on short notice when the supply ran out. I would definitely stay here again.

"A Golden Vacation"

Beautiful cottage which worked well for our "Family"( we travel with our 3 Golden Retrievers). Bedroom fireplace was wonderful at night! Easy walk down the street to a small park for the dogs....Great location and Bill was very helpful! We will return!Thank You Bill for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage!

Monterey/Carmel visit

Relaxing stay in Carmel

We had a great stay in Carmel. The house is at a great location, near Carmel beach. There are a good deck with views which was great for relaxing. Bill was very helpful, showing us around the house and giving us tips of of what to do and where to go for meals. We will definitely be back.

Everything we could have possibly hoped for! Beautiful property. Short drive to downtown Carmel or the beach. Loved having my coffee in 55 degrees on the patios. Watched hummingbirds one day. We will be back!

Perfect Weekend Stay

Comfortable stay

We’ve stay twice at Atherton cottage. Very quiet, private and comfortable accommodations for my wife and I . Good location, close drive to stores and restaurants. Close to downtown Carmel. Bill is a wonderful host.

Peaceful retreat!

Bill's place is wonderful. So many thoughtful details. All the comforts are covered. And the multiple outdoor spaces around the property are beautiful and serene. He's put so much care into the place and you can feel it. The location couldn't be better for exploring the 17 mile drive, Carmel and Monterey. Thanks so much Bill!

Great Place, well described

This cottage was just as delightful as I thought it would be from the pictures and description. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. Cooking here was a delight, with an extremely well stocked, well organized kitchen. The beds were super comfortable, and the garden lovely - even prettier than the photos.

Well maintained property with many amenities, including a lovely outdoor sitting area. The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood in a beautiful setting, downtown Carmel is a short walk away. We have stayed here twice and look forward to our next visit!

Lovely Classic Carmel Cottage

Quaint, Clean and Well Situated

We spent 4 nights here in conjunction with an event at the Laguna Seca racetrack. Everything went smoothly. The cottage is well equipped and close to restaurants, grocery stores and downtown Carmel. Enjoyed our time here and would rent here again.

The Hardwood floors are of hand scraped Hickory Pecan, there are two fireplaces, custom lighting as well as remodeled Bath with Glass pencil tile Shower over Tub.A Large Private deck with coushion Chaise Lounges, a separate Private deck with table & chairs as well as a BBQ. Atherton Cottage has it's own private parking driveway with lighted brick walkway to the front door. Also included is a full size stacked washer & Dryer.

It is only a few minutes drive to the Beautiful State Park known as "Point Lobos" located right on the Pacific Ocean! There are numerous Wine Tasting rooms as well as Vineyards within a short drive,as well as the Finest Golf Courses in the Country. Just 10 minutes away is the Well known Monterey Fishermans Wharf and Steinbeck Cannery Row with many great shops & restaurants!
