We have stayed at The Lake Berkley resort on many occasions but our first stay in this villa. We found the Villa was not as advertised in the photos and generally tired throughout. The villa was clean and tidy and had everything you would need but some facilities were not up to expectation, the washer & dryer did not operate properly, no tea spoons only plastic Mc Donald's tea spoons . The crockery was generally in poor condition especially the mugs, chipped, cracked and stained. Some of the glasses were unusable and cloudy. The chairs to the pool patio set were unusable due to rust and breakdown to the legs. . Having said that it was a nice villa we had a pleasant stay beds were comfortable and plenty of towels and pool towels. The view from the pool over the lake is beautiful the Pool was great we used this everyday and we paid for the heating which was great there is also a great selection of pool inflatables to use. Lake Berkley Resort is fantastic with great security and great location to everything. Host communication prior to our arrival was really good but had little contact once we arrived.
