Another great stay here

This was our group's second year staying here and it was great. The two cottage setup is nice for people with different sleeping habits and the location is amazing.

The hosts were patient and accommodating. This trip was a family gathering to make some good memories with my mother, who was recently diagnosed with dementia. The hosts were patient and answered all of my questions about the property's ease of accessibility for a mobility-impaired guest. She even took some extra pictures that weren't included in the listing so I could make an informed decision. Additionally, the property is beautiful, and the homes are truly homes. There are fully functioning kitchens, extra toiletries if needed, and everything to prepare coffee the way you prefer (Keurig, coffee pot filters, French press). It is evident how much thought and consideration the hosts put into their guests' usability of the property too. All drawers and shelves are labeled to indicate what goes where, light switch labels indicate which lights will turn on and where, and there are plenty of notes for easy use throughout the house. The checkout process was easy, and their expectations were made clear about what was our responsibility as a guest. Only a couple of things would have made this property Perfect; one, there is only a dryer on-site, no washing machine. Two, some kayaks or canoes to allow for use on the beautiful lake. Our stay was during the transition time when businesses are closing up for the season, so finding a place to rent kayaks just wasn't in the cards for us. But these things are personal preferences. The property wonderful and perfect for large groups.

Great group getaway!

This is an awesome property for a group weekend in northern Michigan. The hosts were very kind and the layout is awesome for a bigger group to have plenty of space and things to do!

Great location and set up

The two cottages were great for our larger group with beds for all. Easy check-in process and good communication with the owners. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

This was the perfect property for my siblings and our families to meet up and spend a week by the lake! Everything was as listed, and Stacie was very responsive to questions. Such a beautiful, peaceful location that all ages can enjoy.

Another great stay here

We stayed here for the third year in a row. Location is great, separate houses are nice for different sleep habits, and the property owners communicate well. Looking forward to year four already.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay on Lake Leelanau. The cottage is in a very nice central location. We loved renting a pontoon and being able to dock it out front. My kids loved swimming out front. We would love to return for another visit!

Lake vacation

We have stayed here before and we love it. Access to the lake dock and swimming is right on the property. Plenty of space to spread out. Lots of activities in nearby towns. Kitchen in the main house and the cottage are well stocked. We had a great time!Bring beach towels, we found only one.

Family trip

We took a family trip and it was perfect for a larger group. The kids loved the bunk room and garage with the toys. The main house was a great size to hold dinners and the propert is very peaceful.

Perfect location

We had a great time exploring Leelanau County. We went to Torch Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Fishtown, Traverse City, Glen Haven Beach, Suttons Bay, Northport, Grand Traverse Lighthouse, and Good Harbor Beach. The two houses were perfect for our families and centrally located to all the little towns. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice weekend retreat

We were in the area for a golf tournament. Location was wonderful. The two homes provided plenty of space for congregating and activities. The bunk room is huge. Will definitely use this place again if we're in the area.

Great place

We had a family wedding and a group of us stayed here. It was a perfect location with a beautiful view ,the space and set up was great. Plenty of room for everyone! It was clean and fully stocked with everything you need !The owners were very friendly and accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!!

Wow! What a great place for families to stay. We traveled with our adult children and grandchildren. We all agreed that this is the best place yet! Check in was easy. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The air conditioning was a plus! The bunk room also has air conditioning which was needed because we had a hot week!

Friends Weekend

We chose this property for the location and close proximity to the wineries we were visiting during the weekend. The main house and the brick cottage were clean and very inviting. We would definitely rent this property again.

The property provided enough space for our large family to gather, play games and enjoy our each other. The kids loved the bunk room with all the videos, puzzles and games in their own space. What an excellent concept!! Thank you, fun was had by all!

Beautiful property

The cottages and property were just as described and exceeded our expectations. Large enough to accommodate our guests and visitors, even when it rained. Beautiful views and close enough to all the sites and shopping in the peninsula. Very comfortable and homey feeling. The owner was very easy to contact, quick to respond and friendly.
