great Location

nice home, close to the parks, food and supplies. We only had 1 night we had to wait behind 2 cars checking in so it took over 15 minutes to get through the gate. My granddaughter fell in love with the ducks that hung out around the house. we had 6 adults and 3 kids with plenty of room.

Excellent stay at Lake Berkley. Hosts were excellent to communicate with and provide lots of items for traveling with young kids. Property manager was excellent when communicating regarding pool cleanliness. Overall, the home could use a deep clean, some TLC and updating but it was a beautiful home for our big family vacation.

Beautiful property in an excellent location

We stayed the last week in April for a week The property is stunning with loads of space, our party was 6 adults and one 4yr old The property was spacious with a well equipped kitchen The pool and spa tub were well used and the view out onto the lake was just stunning at all times of the day We used the bbq a few times which was lovely The door is a key code so no need to carry a key The location was great for all the parks and 5 mins away for a Walmart for supplies Communication with the owners was superb, they couldn’t have been more helpful before our trip or during our trip

Lovely home with relaxing pool

The home was beautiful, just as described. The pool and hot tub were very nice and relaxing. The resort lake area is beautiful to look at as you enjoyed the pool. It would have been nice to regulate the temperature of the home better. The thermostat was set at 71 degrees. I like to sleep in a cooler temperature. I would definitely stay in this home again.

Villa was great 2 issues in the house you were constantly finding small insects on all the surfaces in the kitchen this was not nice when you were using it also the sun loungers need updating they w3re not nice to look at ang were s ruffy to look at saying that overall i would not hesitate to reccommend it small details make the difference

Great stay

We really enjoyed the home. The pool and jacuzzi made it for a nice evening. We have used Lake Berkeley for many years and this is one of the nicer homes on the property. Lake Berkeley does need to change their gate/security entrance though for people that are already checked in and registered. When you come back from a long park day, you have to wait in line to show your id tag(mirror hanger) in the same line that new arrivals are coming in their vehicles. We had to wait many times for around 20 minutes behind people registering when they have two gate entrances but don’t let you utilize the second. Book this home though, you won’t be disappointed.

Our family Disney vacation

We found the property to fit our needs perfectly. 6 adults and 4 children with each couple and each pair of kids getting their own bedrooms. The common space areas accommodated our needs as well and the pool was perfect for our planned day off. The disappointments included lack of soap in the bathrooms, lack of extra toilet paper and having only one roll of paper towels provided in the kitchen. Also, no hand soap, dish soap or dishwasher soap in the kitchen. We purchased extra of those items and left them at the house so that the next family in would be supplied with these basics.

Week at the lakefront

Pros: the layout of the house was great. The backyard view of the lake was wonderful. Owner responded quickly to messages. Property manager did not come for each problem though. Cons: Large roaches in the garage and upstairs bedrooms. We found one the first day in the garage/ game room. Then we found another large roach running through the upstairs master bedroom. Another roach was found in the double blue bedroom and one was found already crushed/dead under the upstairs bathroom trash can. There were trails of ghost ants in the kitchen on the counters and by the fridge. Pest control was called by the owner. Only 4 cars are allowed per home in this gated community. (We received a torn notebook paper placed on our car stating we could not park in the driveway "blocking the sidewalk".The next morning that we were leaving, we received a loud knock on the door at 7 am by a security guard demanding we move our vehicle from the driveway). The temperature control. The thermostat was locked at 74 during one of the hottest heat waves in August. The second floor was constantly hot and the thermostat home temperature remained at 76- 78 degrees F. The air conditioner started leaking on the second floor carpet leaving a wet soaked carpet that seeped into the two bedrooms. The door handle to the front door was broken and kept falling off when attempting to open the door. Poor house cleaning: there was dust and dead gnats on the bedframes, foul smelling linens, mold stains on the vents.

Fantastic resort and location!

We have just returned from a 3 week stay at this stunning Villa set in a beautiful and quiet resort only few miles from all parks! It was the perfect place to stay and relax surrounded by a beautiful lake and wildlife. Only a short drive to Disney and other parks, we really enjoyed our stay here at Lake Berkley and would highly recommend!

First time in FL

This being our first time out in Orlando, We were very happy with where we stayed! The checkin was very easy and the house is pretty much as listed and fit our group of 8 adults comfortably. They’re located just 20 minutes from all or the Disney parks which we thought was nice and a Walmart right down the street which was very convenient. We did have an issue with the AC but the property manager came out in a timely manner to get that fixed for us for the remainder of our trip. Would definitely recommend this beautiful place! Thank you again for welcoming us!

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was comfortable and spacious. We all loved the heated pool and hot tub especially after a long day at the park! Great location in a quiet gated community. Owners are very nice and were available when I had questions with quick response! Only upgrades I would recommend is more cookware, specifically baking sheets/trays and smart TV’s for all the streaming services a lot of people have. Would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving Getaway

This property was great! It had all the amenities we needed traveling with 4 kids, one being a one year old and needing a crib. There was plenty of space and it was clean! When we checked in the property manager came by because she noticed there was no spoons and we mentioned that there was no crib sheet. She ran out right away and got 2. A few days later we noticed there was no propane for the grill and they were quick to fill that also. Check in process was easy and we really felt like it was perfect for our family!

house was not ready for guess/ dirty/not clean

would not recommend, will never stay at this house again. Why did we pay a cleaning charge ?? One bleached sheet in master suite, one dirty towel in master bedroom, no towels in other rooms, had to buy towels from Walmart. Garbage disposal not working/stinking(had to call management , again ) Can not list all. Spent more time at daughters house than here. Lights out, holes in pool door. Not a good vacation week.

We enjoyed ourselves. The place was nice to stay. We emailed the owner with the problem we find, like the pool wasn’t working and when the pool guy came to clean it that day, he find the problem and fixed it. I would stay in this home again.

Great House

My family came to the Orlando area to go to the Disney Parks. This house is about 20 minutes away from the parks and close to many restaurants, Publix and Walmart. It is very spacious and clean. My kids enjoyed a little swim in the hearted pool and I enjoyed the view of the lake. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, pot and pans dishes, cups, silverware, etc. We enjoyed our stay and will look up this house for our next Disney vacation.

Great property and great experience

We had a great time staying at this home. It was clean and was exactly as it appeared online. We did experience a couple of issues (minor) with large roaches and the sliding door to the pool did not lock and was very heavy to close. Also, there was a grill available that needed a little more cleaning, so we chose to purchase a small one for us to use. Overall, this property was great and we really enjoyed staying there. The pool was great and the property was well kept. We would definitely use it again, given the opportunity. Even with the minor things noted, we would give this property five (5) stars.
