Haiku cottage rentals

We loved Pineapple Cottage. We are two type A personalty clean freaks and were in awe on how clean the entire house inside and out were. Steve and Ivy are very welcoming and have everything you need. They left fruit, snacks, chocolate, coffee and wine for us. Ivy’s banana bread with our morning coffee was the best way to start our day. We highly recommend Pineapple Cottage for a peaceful Hawaiian vacation.

The most fabulous 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stay ever in Maui! Cool breezes upcountry and the spectacular accommodations make this a real prize! Clean, luxury bath ( great water pressure- luxury towels) washer /dryer and kitchen, most comfortable king bed with TV, living room space with desk. Separate entry, easy access off Kula roads. I will return in a heartbeat! Added extra of a sweet fresh bakery treats each morning. The highlight of our 5 day stay on Maui! Need a car- not a problem. Small market in Kula nearby. Botanical gardens near by, little Kula downtown with great 5 star eats at both Kula Bistro and Kula restaurant .

My husband and I spent a week here for our 30th wedding anniversary. It was within walking distance to Paia. The bungalow had all the essentials and was neat and tidy. I would definitely stay here again.

We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our 8 nights here in this Upcountry gem. Welcome basket included fresh fruit from the property and it never seemed to run out with fresh fruit showing up throughout our stay. The views were second to none and only noise was the wildlife and was very private. Location was great giving you a good starting point to all parts of the island. Hank was a great host, as was this cottage. 10/10.

Our third visit to The Star Lookout, and nothing has changed one bit really since our last trip in 2019. Seeing Ray once again was absolutely priceless, and hanging-out with Gin & Tonic (the cats) was perfect for us, as we have a pair just like them at home. Talk about "all the comforts" of home, we love those cats. The Star Lookout is the place to admire God's Art Gallery, both day and night. I am still honored to have contributed photos to the website of the night sky. This trip the clouds were playing and we shot day/night 4k timelapse and counted over 100 deer running in the wild. Janice, you really are a blessing to all of us who have experienced this place. Mahalo nui loa for sharing this amazing house with those of us who are able to stay here even for one night. There is no other place on Maui like this, but no kinder hosts and caretakers either. We sure love you people, and the house. I am already planning for next summer. Aloha, and fo shua, a hui ho! H&S

Valerie's cottage overlooks a beautiful topical oasis and full ocean view. The cottage was tastefully designed and just the right size for two. There were views from every window and a wonderful deck to enjoy our home made meals. The location was perfect to easily get to town, beaches, wonderful restaurants, and all that the North Shore has to offer. Although, it was hard to venture out as I could have stayed the whole vacation right there at the cottage. Valerie and Craig were also very helpful and a joy to know. We are already looking at our calendar to plan a return trip. Mahalo to our wonderful hosts!

This property is heaven. Peaceful, private, quaint, a perfect break from the pandemic and stress of life. My husband and I loved our time here and wish we stayed longer. Sharyn is a wonderful host that has spoiled us with everything we needed and more. I can’t say enough great things about this place. I want to go back already!

This cute, clean little place is right in the heart of Haiku. You can walk to the store and a wonderful sushi restaurant! Communication with the host was great too.
