We had a great time during our stay - the view was lovely and the house was very conveniently situated to the town of Gavrios.

If you wish refreshing breezes, stunning views and a feeling of home you need to stay here! Our villa was well-equipped, sizeable enough to accommodate 10 adults with a terrace, pool (unheated) and stone barbecue. Plenty of places to relax outdoors. Impeccably maintained by Mr. Andreas. We heard bees and birds, and watched lemons fall from the trees. Inside there is a large kitchen, plenty of seating too for meals although we preferred eating outside. Brothers Vassillis and Alexander are excellent communicators. Don't worry about anything. Alex met us at the ferry from Athens and was on the island 24/7 to help us with any questions. He was also great at making suggestions of places to visit or restaurants if we wanted some advice. He even found a cook at our request (a yaya) named Jayne (from Wales) who lives nearby and who cooked a stupendous island meal. We highly recommend hiring her for your stay just to experience a night of local island food. Cooking outdoors on the bbq was loads of fun too.The town of Batsi was only a 5-minute drive from the villa. It is not a tourist trap but a place to mingle with the locals. Excellent restaurants (try Branda and Rojia) both on the harbour front. Excellent jewelry shops too; a must-visit.We drove around the island visiting monasteries, local sites and taking in the glorious views. It is a peaceful retreat that we highly recommend.Efharisto Alex and Vassillis!

We were attracted to the many hikes and beautiful beaches at Androw and Villa Philinna was the perfect place for our family. We enjoyed the amazing view and outdoor area (including the pool) and since we like to cook, we spent quite a few evenings on the gorgeous terrace. Our wonderful host (Lia) welcomed us and was extremely attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the spacious Agios Petros beach right below the house and also enjoyed Gold beach on windy days. The atmosphere in Gavrio varied between quiet and not-overly-touristy and chaotic/crazy (in an interesting way) when the ferries came. For a bit more touristy atmosphere, we visited Batsi for lunch or dinner a few times.

This house and complex are extraordinary. The views, the pool, minutes walk to two glorious beaches, groceries, bakery, and restaurants, the beautiful houses, all of it was just perfect. The house is midway between the port of Gavrio and the sweet seaside village of Batsi. We were so lucky to be so close to the port to greet guests. We went for 3 weeks and were joined by friends and family who rented the other houses. We all had privacy, our own decks, and could congregate at the pool or on the end patios. There are no living rooms, so we used the outdoor patios to eat and play cards. We hope to come back! Thank you, Chantal, Patrick, and Nancy!

The house was warm and inviting inside with the most spectacular views from the patio. The private beach was amazing. The entire island was a beautiful place to explore with friendly people.

An absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained gem. We never got tired of looking at all the charming and creative details both inside and out, and the hosts are outstanding. Location: the easiest to reach of the three places we stayed, anyone who says otherwise has not traveled that much in Greece. Complete tranquility but close enough to Gavrio, Batsi and some great beaches. Also very close to the best Taverna on the Island, O Kossis, we will never forget our experience there; the hospitality, the freshness of the food (literally “farm to table”) and the relaxed and rustic vibe. Accommodations: Villa Elisavetta is so beautifully done, it has great flow and is imbued true character, the private outside space is wonderful and the view is spectacular and unforgettable. We fell in love with our private pool from the minute we saw it. Hosts: So warm and welcoming, they really know the island and are happy to provide great recommendations of where to go, what to do, and the best places to eat. Their hospitality is on another level, completely exceeding our expectations. We cannot imagine any better place from which to base your discovery of Andros, a lovely island that still feels authentically “un-touristy”.
