This was the perfect place to stay in Inverness. Quiet, beautiful scenery and close to sites. We cooked in the first night which was delightful. We were greeted upon arrival and communication was fantastic. Highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely LOVELY stay with our family. The location is perfection as it’s quiet and calm - but close enough to pop into Inverness for a meal. Cabin was cozy and perfectly appointed. Barry - and the pups - were so welcoming, some of the kindest hosts we’ve ever had. Coffee in the mornings overlooking Loch Ness was an absolute dream. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous little spot with us!!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in the UK and stayed in 7 different accommodations during that time. This was, by far, the best by a mile. Not only is it situated on a lovely stretch of farmland with a view of Loch Ness in the distance, the rental themselves were comfortable, well-equipped, and clean. Each individual unit has its own little enclosure with a hot tub that was perfect after a long day of walking. The rental was beautiful and homey. The attention to detail was incredible, every piece of this rental was well thought out. The bathrooms were clean and well organized. The wi-if worked quite well. The rental also had a dishwasher, oven, and microwave for use. This was great for us as we wanted to be in the comfort of the rental as opposed to out at a restaurant, so we were able to pick up food at a nearby Tesco superstore (~8m away) and stay in. As an added bonus, they gave us a couple bags of feed to hand feed the alpacas, which was a really nice way to say goodbye to our time there. One thing I would note is that if you don’t have your own car, getting here might be a bit of a hassle. It is situated along a moderate stretch of single lane road and could probably be reached by Uber or similar services but it might not be the most convenient way.

When we travel, we generally stay in VRBO properties and have only occasionally been disappointed in what was offered and the reality. Not this time. This was one of the nicest VRBO properties we have ever enjoyed. Every single detail was exactly as described in the listing. It was immaculately clean and the beds were heavenly. The neighborhood was quiet but very accessible. It was about a 15 minute walk to a bustling part of Inverness and one of our couples walked it easily and often. It was a bit difficult for me (bad knees) and once was enough. However, we had absolutely no issue with calling cabs to whisk us to and fro. The cab fares were surprisingly low as well. What made this stay so very special was our host, Joanna. I had a number of questions prior to our arrival and Joanna was extremely attentive and responsive. She went out of her way to find answers to some of my questions regarding the area (bad knees, you know) and she assured me that accessibility was easily accommodated and it was. She provided butter and jam, biscuits, coffee, tea, milk, and lovely bread to get us started the first morning (her items were so generous that we enjoyed them for several days). There was an espresso machine, but it wasn't working properly which was too bad, but we did not really miss it as the kettle worked great. In summary, everything was where one would expect to find it, which is not always the case in rentals. Thank you, Joanna, for a superb stay.

Stayed 2 nights at the glamping pods with my 2 adult daughters and we loved the pod and the gorgeous views from the wonderful location. The hosts were very nice and helpful with any requests. The app recommended by host didn’t work for us but our rental car GPS got us there. Also, would have liked to have the host’s phone number sooner as internet access was unreliable while traveling. Fortunately the family in the other pod called host to let them know that we had arrived. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Gorgeous cottage in a fabulous and secluded spot but with the convenience of only being 10 minutes out of Inverness! The cottage was exactly as described and more. The directions and arrival information was detailed and precise and the cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. We would highly recommend and we will be booking again in the near future.
