Vacation rentals near Earl King Park

Luxury meets cozy with southern hospitality. Five stars is not enough for this very special place. We stayed in the Eagle’s Nest 1 bedroom/studio cabin. This is set on a large beautifully landscaped property with a 20-person lodge, two cabins and the host’s home. The property has a large section of river front with room to fish and a small sandy beach to sit on or even wade in to cool off. It was July so it was very hot outside, but the area around the water and the back porch of the cabin stayed cool. The cabin itself is beautiful with hard wood floors and wood covered walls. It is nicely decorated which makes it feel like a country home. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything you need to cook the food you bring. It was fully functional and not overly fancy. The large kitchen sink made it easy to keep everything clean. The hosts were amazing and brought us fresh bread and vegetables from their garden. We were treated more like family than just guests. The cabins set far enough apart that we also had privacy, especially the back porch with a powerful and very clean hot tub. This place is a true gem. PJ’s restaurant is only half a mile away. Much like the cabin it combines fine dining with a casual atmosphere and large portions.

I had a really good stay at this cottage. It was very clean. All the updates were really nice that have been done to the house. I will suggest updating the furniture. Maybe putting a couch in the living room or a couch with a bed so that a few more people could enjoy this cottage too. Families may be bigger than just four people and there is room in this cottage for bigger families if allowed. The patio area was great for cooking on the grill. My trip was about family friends and relaxation and I definitely accomplished all those things while staying here.

Great setup for a large group. Kitchen was amazing and two separate living areas kept everyone entertained. The decorations were very thought out. We loved looking at and reading some of the books that are too old to find on a kindle. Walking distance to great fishing and the town of Calico Rock.

We had a great time stayong here for our 6 year anniversary. The area was beautiful and the cabin was very quaint. Kim and Kevin were amazing hosts!

We had a relaxing and enjoyable getaway for Christmas. We decided a few years back to make memories instead of giving gifts to each other for Christmas and this trip did not disappoint. We had a wonderful time!

Great place. Plenty of space. We have a large family and everyone loved it young and old. Fishing was great also. Can’t beat this place on the White River. Especially for a group.

If you want to "get away from it all" in style... this is the place to do it! Spacious home, beautiful styled, with one of the best equipped kitchens of any of the properties we've stayed. The back yard ends at the nearly crystal clear White River with a nice dock/terraced area for great fishing or just sitting and relaxing. Drinking coffee just before sunrise on the dock, watching the bald eagles, crows, and other wildlife was awesome. We even saw one river otter! The best thing was the view of the solar eclipse, I can't imagine a more awesome place to have that experience. It was a magical moment for our family. The owner was very helpful. She called us before the trip to explain all about the house and to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the Mountain View/Calico Rock, Arkansas area.

The cabin was wonderful, my husband and I loved the large picture windows to see the river whether you were inside or out. Very relaxing and comfortable, loved to see the wildlife too. It was perfect all around.
