Exactly what we wanted. Peaceful setting with amazing views. Siobhan was an excellent host.

We brought our son and dil and 2 grands ages 20 and 11. The house and property were perfect. Aiden was a terrific help in guiding us to local attractions we otherwise would have never experienced. He was just a phone call away when we had a question. We would recommend this rental 100%.

A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!

If you are looking to get away from it all, noise, traffic every day city life this is a must place to stay. It’s situated off the road and every morning you can sit out front with your cup of coffee or hot tea and listen to the birds and the absolute silence around you. Now we had our own car and being from the US we had to drive on a different side of the street but that being said it wasn’t all that difficult. My husband was a pro. There were so many cool things to do within two hours of where we were at most places were within 30 to 40 minutes And it was amazing. Jim the caretaker he was so helpful and patient and had so much knowledge of the area he was a joy. Even when I had to email the owner, he always responded so quickly and graciously because I’m sure some of my questions were a little silly that he always was there to help me within moments of my text/email. For me, my absolute favorite part was every night of the three weeks we were there the sunset over the lake was absolutely breathtaking.

We had a wonderful stay at Green Acres cottage. The cottage was darling and Catherine and Martin were the best hosts we’ve experienced. They were so welcoming and treated us like special guests. We especially loved getting to meet their dog, donkeys and pony! An absolutely wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful stay in Crossmolina. This was the perfect spot to read after traveling and exploring the area. It was exactly as advertised and we highly recommend!

We've stayed in a lot of properties and this is my new favorite. We brought 3 of our adult kids and 1 daughter in law and there was plenty of space and separation so they didn't keep us up if/when they stayed up later than us. It was old world charm with modern conveniences, and central to so many wonderful sites in Mayo. We went to Cong, Galway, Westport, Knock, Ballintubber, Ballinrobe, and up to Ballina & the incredible Downpatric Head Dun Briste sea stack & cliffs (1 hr & 1/2 scenic drive.) The Tourmakaedy waterfall & church ruins were close by & worth a 2nd visit. We had the time of our lives & felt like guests in a relative's home. Thomas & Eileen, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Your hospitality was top notch. Our bed was very comfortable & my hubby is very picky & showers were hot & had great pressure. I miss seeing the sheep out the windows every morning & the 2 bucks that greeted me from the other side of the kitchen door 1 morning.

What a beautiful location and comfortable accommodations. The hosts were wonderful. We will definitely return!
