"We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great - just a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to St. Armand's Circle. The yard area had a nice table with an umbrella, a lounge chair, and other cushioned seating options. We had access to bikes, a grill, and a fire pit, and though we didn't use them, it was nice to know they were available. The owner was very nice and accommodating.
There are a few things that could be improved to make it an even better stay:
-The bathroom has a plastic accordion door, which doesn't provide any privacy. A solid door would be much better. The bathroom is also very small, so it could use a fan to help with ventilation.
-The microwave only opens up about 6 inches because it hits the fridge, so it's not possible to put a plate of food in there.
-The space got humid, so we had to keep the AC on at 67 degrees, even though the weather outside was very pleasant and in the mid 70s.
-The kitchen window could use blinds. I personally don't like uncovered windows, but that's not an issue for everyone.
-The two windows seen in the picture are the owner's part of the house. While we didn't have any issues, we thought the back area could be a bit more private, both for the owner and guests, by putting up a small little fence near the windows and redirecting the path to the entrance. We felt bad if we were outside at night with the spotlight on because it would be shining in her windows.
Overall, this is a great little place to stay. Knowing what to expect, I'd rent this location again, especially with the quick fixes suggested above."
