This charming 1 Bedroom (Sleeps 2-4) ground floor Condo is just a short walk or bike ride to the beautiful Village area and Beaches where you will find many wonderful shops and restaurants. If its walking in the village, fishing off the pier, playing miniature golf, or sitting at your favorite pub, the village has something for everyone.
This condo has been recently decorated to the "9"s just for your home away from home enjoyment. The Living area, Dining area and kitchen have beautiful Tile floors throughout with a nice cozy breakfast area that seats 4. The living area has a comfy Lazy Boy sofa sleeper and reclining chair for your 5 star comfort living. The bedroom has a very relaxing appeal as you walk into this cottage style look with a walk in closet and plush king-size bed. Be careful, this bedding is used in many five star hotels which has a tendency to make one want to stay in bed all day.
Ocean Walk is known for its beautiful landscaping and the many amenities that are offered. This property has 2 pools (1 heated), grills at each pool along with several others nestled around the property under the mossy filled oak trees. Children will love to spend hours either on the playground with friends or maybe at the beautiful pond fishing or feeding the ducks. Ocean Walk's Clubhouse offers a nice workout room for those that choose to stay in shape while away from home. Why the Owner Chose Ocean Walk
Back in the late 70's when I was a little boy our family started coming to the Island once a year for our vacation. As time moved on, our parents purchased a place on "East Beach" that we still enjoy our family gatherings every year. As this Island transformed into a close vacation spot from Atlanta, we thought that this might be the spot to bring our new family also. In early 2006, our new addition came to us "Our Little Boy" and now we can keep this wonderful tradition in place. Come Share our families "Home Away From Home" and we hope your family will feel the same as ours. Hope you enjoy your stay!

My husband, two dogs, and I just returned from a stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The condo is as described, and frankly the pictures do not do justice to the interior. The place was charmingly decorated, all of the furnishings were new and comfortable. The linens were great quality. The kitchen was very well equipped - we were able to grab a few staples and make breakfast and pack a lunch each day. The main interior is tile, which is perfect for coming in from the beach. The property is about a 15-20 stroll to the pier, or a really fast drive. The beach was about a 5 minute drive. We liked the condo's surrounding property, the duck pond is nice, and if you have children we saw some playground equipment. Although we didn't make it to the pool, it never seemed crowded. As another reviewer mentioned, there are gas and charcoal grills around. The guests before us left a note in the guest journal that they had enjoyed the grill, we thought about it - next time. Speaking of which, we will definitely stay here again!

Our two-week stay in this sweet condo went too fast. The listing description is very accurate and the condo fulfilled our expectations. The roomy one bedroom unit has a serene and private patio, well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable living area, and a beautiful bedroom with a walk-in closet. Laundry facilities are conveniently located nearby. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We are already thinking about our next trip to St. Simons Island and hope to stay in this unit again.

This condo was absolutely perfect for a girls' week out. The three teens took over the master, while I slept like a baby on the absolutely comfy couch. We found it convenient that the one bathroom was located just outside the bedroom, rather than IN the bedroom so that I could access it as well. Everything about the condo is as described and more...the decor is lovely, the kitchen well-equipped, and the garden patio very private--perfect for a cup of coffee, storing bikes, or watching for wildlife in the back woods. We even saw a little green tree frog! Be sure to bring mosquito repellent, however, if you plan to spend time out there. The community is well-situated near the village, the pier, the beach, and the DQ! The girls enjoyed swimming in the two pools after the beach and biking in the nearby quiet streets and park. I didn't visit the exercise room (should have), but did make use of the laundry facilities, which were conveniently located next to Unit P. Bring quarters and detergent if you plan to do laundry. Great places to eat: Barbara Jean's (the crab cakes really ARE good), the Crap Trap (a tradition), and the new pizza joint across from the bike rental place (yum!). There is also a Winn Dixie down near the airport if you want to shop and do your own cooking, as well as the usual chain restaurants (and Starbucks). I would be remiss not to mention how nice it was renting P-9 from the owners. Great communication, very pleasant to work with, and they let me bring my dog. Dogs are allowed on the beach before 9am and after 6pm, so Suzi had a blast meeting other dogs, swimming for the tennis ball, and loping alongside my bike. I highly recommend this property and will be returning with my husband (and the dog)!

We had a great 4 days at St. Simons staying at Ocean Walk. The condo was as nice as described and had everything we needed for a short stay. We brought our bikes and found it very convenient to roll them onto the covered ground level patio or bring them inside at night. The Village pier area restaurants and shops are a five minute bike ride away as are the restaurants clustered in the King and Prince area and access to East Beach. The unit is located very close to the complex back pool which has internet wi-fi service. The unit owner, Keith, was very accomodating and enjoyable to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.
