Newly refurbished apartment in the centre of Madrid. The flat comprises of 1 double bedroom (there is an additional folding bed that can be put up if required), lounge dinner with balcony, kitchen & shower room. It's situated on the 3rd floor and is bright, quiet and comfy. There is no elevator. La Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Reina Sofia museum & Atocha station are just 10 minutes walk away and the Retiro park and the Prado Museum are 15 minutes away. There are loads of bars, restaurants, taverns, shops, theatres & cinemas really near by and the underground station is just 2 minutes up the road. Apartamento céntrico situado en una calle tranquila del centro de la ciudad.
Muy acogedor y luminoso, con todo lo necesario para una cómoda estancia. Dispone de un dormitorio con cama de matrimonio y una cama supletoria, cocina equipada con microondas, vitrocerámica, tostadora, cafetera y los utensilios necesarios, Baño con ducha, salón con sofá, mesa y sillas, tv. Tanto la ropa de cama como las toallas están incluidas, así como los gastos de limpieza.
La finca y el apartamento se reformaron en su totalidad hace un año.
Se encuentra al lado de la conocida calle de Atocha, a cinco minutos andando del museo reina Sofia, muy cerca del museo del prado y del retiro, que es el parque mas emblemático de la ciudad. Cercano también a la conocida zona de Huertas con gran ambiente de bares de copas y restaurantes. Dispone tanto de tiendas de todo tipo como de un mercado de alimentación. La estación de metro Antón Martín está a dos minutos andando. Please

  • We stayed at Richard's apartment for 3 weeks in July 2009, on our first visit to Madrid. The apartment was neat, spacious, quiet and comfortable and furnished with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Richard was a delight to deal with - efficient and prompt over email, and charming and responsive in person. In our 3 weeks he dealt with varied requests from our end, (including a fan) without batting an eyelid and made us feel welcome and at home. The apartment's location is perfect if you want to visit the Reina Sofia,and the Prado and ramble along one of Madrid's most beautiful parks, El Retiro. The apartment is also conveniently located near a large Carrefour and 2 metro stations. We would strongly recommend Richard's apartment for anyone who wants a comfortable, pleasant and hassle-free vacation at Madrid.

  • The apartment was neat, clean and in very good condition. Richard was very helpful in offering suggestions. There are several markets close by for meat, fish, vegetables and other groceries. The Prado was an easy walk from the apartment, and the subway was just minutes away. Casa Patas (if one is interested in flamenco) was minutes away as well. I would stay here again.

Owner very helpful with information and welcomed us at the apartment upon arrival. This is a quiet street in an area that has some bars, restaurants and other shops worth exploring.

  • Very good experience. Apartment is very clean and has all you need. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! Metro and excellent Mercado 2 min.away. Richard (owner)an extremely nice and accomodating host. Next time we are in Madrid we will rent this place again for sure!
