If you come to Belize for adventure, Adagio Villa is your perfect home base. Along with one hundred feet of beautiful Caribbean beachfront and four hundred feet of lagoon frontage, Adagio Villa offers you all the comforts of a high-end home and the luxury of an exclusive resort. First, we will pick you up at the San Pedro Airport and then you can begin your adventure by fishing from your private 250 foot pier with palapa on the Caribbean or fly fishing in the lagoon at the back of the property. THREE 2-person and one 1-person kayaks are provided to further your exploration of the immediate area. A seven night rental includes a free rental golf cart* and six bicycles are yours to help you explore the island by land. The Barrier Reef of Belize, visible from Adagio Villa, is less than a one minute boat ride from the pier to Tres Cocos Cut for fishing, diving and snorkeling. And when you're ready to further explore the island or make day trips to the mainland to explore the jungle, discover lost Mayan cities or try cave tubing, our concierge and estate manager will arrange for your tour guides to pick you up on our pier. And at the end of your stay, we will transport you back to the San Pedro Airport.

Adagio Villa can be a vacation destination in itself. Adagio Villa was designed by its owner as a year-round luxury retreat. Located in exclusive Tres Cocos, Adagio Villa offers the discriminating vacationer or long-term renter all the amenities you come to expect in a high end home. Should you to choose to simply want to 'get away and relax' or use it perhaps as a honeymoon hideaway or even business retreat, these are a few of the amenities you can look forward to:
Adagio Villa is a walled and gated individual property providing privacy and security without interfering with the trade winds that cool the island or the spectacular view of the Caribbean from the Villa. No expense was spared in creating Adagio Villa: the entire Villa and pool area are tiled with imported Turkish travertine. The trim and molding, cabinetry, doors and windows are all custom made of solid mahogany, cedar, Santa Maria and other exotic woods, surrounding you with warm luxury. The columns and arches inside and outside the Villa allude to its Mediterranean influence. The hurricane glass in the windows and doors add to the sense of security while flooding the interior with light. The sunken living room offers silk drapes, sumptuous furniture, a custom entertainment center with a 52 inch plasma screen, DVD/CD player with surround sound .
To stay in touch, a cell phone is provided along with a laptop and Wi-Fi is available throughout the Villa. For those who must conduct business while away, there is an office with a printer, fax and copier. It also has an internet access LCD TV and a foldout sofa for additional sleeping for two. The entire Villa has zoned central air as well as Hunter fans in each bedroom, the living room and the kitchen.
The kitchen is a chef's dream, completely equipped and laid out to make the home chef's experience a delight. Cooking for two or ten is enhanced with the Wolf Professional Range and the spacious prep areas. Or if cooking is not on your list of things to do, for your convenience our housekeeper and cook will prepare and serve wonderful Belizean specialties at additional cost.
The three bedrooms are all en suite with queen size beds providing private and luxurious sleeping for 6 guests. Each bedroom has an LCD TV and a balcony or veranda. The Master Bedroom features a daybed, a Jacuzzi with an ocean view, a refrigerator and coffee maker. With balconies and verandas around the Villa, you may enjoy beautiful sunrises over the Caribbean as well spectacular sunsets over the lagoon.
For the 7th and 8th guest, the office becomes a bedroom with a pullout sofa.
An abundance of little nooks inside and out with hammocks or seating provide you with private places to sit and read, nap, daydream or just 'let go' and disappear for as long as you like.
The private pool completes the look and feel of Paradise. Surrounded by coconut palms and tropical plants, the pool features a shallow sunning area where, with the chaise lounges in the water, you can stretch out, relax and rest your feet or hands in the cool water and chill. Next to the pool, for alfresco dining, is a gas grill under the palapa.

If you're looking for adventure, Belize is the place to be and Adagio Villa is the ultimate home base. Located just north of the bustling village of San Pedro, it's close to all the restaurants, shops, and activities this little town offers.
This is the type of home celebrities would stay in while on vacation. Each guest is provided with an embroidered bathrobe and slippers to take home, along with a remarkable selection of bath and beauty products. With bikes, kayaks, fishing poles, a large pool and a beach, you never need to leave the villa! Just tell staff members Ernesto or Francisco what you want to do and they’ll pamper you.
In addition to the amenities already mentioned, this luxury villa features a gourmet kitchen with an outdoor grilling palapa (thatched hut). If you don't want to cook, Martha, another member of the villa staff will gladly prepare local specialties on a per meal basis. On our final night, we thoroughly enjoyed black beans, rice, fried plantains, Belizean potato salad, chicken, steak, and grilled barracuda. It was a meal to remember and we all wanted to hibernate afterwards!
Since the focus of my trip was scuba diving the Belize Barrier Reef and the Blue Hole, I spent a lot of my time in the water. I could see the waves breaking on the reef a ½ mile offshore from the villa. In addition to world-class scuba diving and fishing, there are extensive archaeological wonders from the Mayan civilization as well as jungle and wildlife eco-tourism adventures.
Belize is a lovely county just two hours from most US airport gateways and San Pedro is a 15 minute flight or a 1 ½ hour boat ride from Belize City. Belize is a former British colony and still maintains membership in the Commonwealth. Unlike other nearby countries, visitors don't need to worry about the water or a language barrier.
Dennis, the owner has seen to every aspect of the experience a guest would expect from a property of this class. As a guest, you can expect very informative emails from Dennis at regular intervals leading up to your departure. He prepared us for our journey, responded quickly to any questions we had and his staff took care of all the details of our stay. While there, we even had a taxi waiting for us at the ferry terminal upon our return. Expect to be beary, beary, beary pampered at Adagio Villa.

We all enjoyed our three weeks in your lovely villa. The Villa offered us elegance and simplicity from watching the iguanas sun in and around the property to being protected from the wind and rain in the comfort of Adagio Villa. We loved everything about the home- all the televisions in each room, the pool, the balcony upstairs, comfortable beds, high ceilings and fans. The view of the ocean from all the windows was a delight. Cooking was fun in such a grand and beautiful kitchen. Your staff - unforgettable. Our daughters loved them all and that to us, says it all. The Lukens crew has had a spectacular time here at the Villa. We fished, snorkeled, swan, sun bathed and generally "vegged out." Just what everyone needed to do. Ernesto, Camille (my'girlfriend') and Florencio were wonderful. We actually wanted to hide them in our suitcases and take them home with us. Your house is so warm and homey and the view from the veranda just can't be topped! San Pedro and Belize will always hold a special place in our memories! We just got back from 9 wonderful days staying at this property. It truly is the nicest house on the island. The location is perfect, not too close to town so you have privacy but really only just minutes away from restaurants, grocery stores, and cute island bars. Camille , comes daily to clean, which is wonderful and she is a great chef, we had one of her delicious dinners one night. Ernesto meets you at the airport and makes you feel at home and comfortable immediately. Also very helpful around the house, and with information on tours etc. He is just one phone call away ( you have a local phone to use). And last but not least is Florenzo , what a wonderful man. He is around making sure all is in order!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

What a place you have here! Every attention to detail that made for a fabulous week filled with memories that we will take home. Your Staff met every need and the same Ernesto lined up great adventures, snorkeling,etc. We will never forget a fishing trip that produced sixty Snappers! Camille then prepared them for our dinner....Amazing! We love Camille! Florencio was always on hand to be helpful in any way he could. Dennis, Thank you so much for all. Adagio Villa is a wonderful home and made our Belize Adventure a Dream..... Ernesto knew everything about Ambergris Caye and had us set up "spot on" for our adventures, which were many. Camille took great care of our place and cooked us some great appetizers. Florencio has a sixth sense I'm sure as nothing or anyone moved around the place but he was on top of it. The crew really made us feel at home here and our vacation was perfect. [- Snorkeling at Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley-just as beautiful as advertised!! - Beach picnic (featuring fresh caught snapper) - Boat trip down the New River to Lamanai] - Elvi's Restaurant in town - Aji Tapas, 1.5 miles north of Adagio Villa - Wild Mangoes on the Beach- lunch was the best. Just completed 10 days here with my wife and two other couples. The house is of the highest quality, beautifully built and maintained. The setting is outstanding. The primary road in Ambergris Caye is unpaved except in the town.The location of the house ( just a 1/2 mile from the bridge to town) proved very convenient especially since the road was in bad shape from the rains except for the last couple of days when it was graded smooth. This would have been an entirely different vacation if the house was several miles from town instead of its actual location ... having to drive a golf cart on a really bumpy road for miles or being dependent on the water taxi. The staff was exceptionally attentive making sure whatever our wishes were- they were met. The bicycles that came with the house were used every day. Having biked for several miles north and south of the house, it bacame apparent after a couple of days that were staying in the best house in Ambergris Caye. This is a beautiful property in a stunning setting- having a great house with a pool right on the water made for a great time.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

"Thank you" is not enough to describe how much this trip meant to the 6 of us - Great Birthday present for Lydia, Phil and Phil (and of course, spouses, Mike, Alysia and Linda.) Camille, Ernesto and Florencio were the best! Loved the Villa and got lots of use out of the Margarita machine (as it rained every day!) Dennis, Yes we are home and yes your villa still has all the charm from our first visit. Always wonderful to visit your home and just totally let all the stress and worry escape the minute we arrive to the smiles of our San Pedro family. The cell phone worked fantastically and was very much appreciated. The phone certainly solved a lot of little fires before outta control. Thank you so much for providing that extra sense of sanity. Your house is very relaxing. As we told EZ, we work 18-20 hours a day and here it is perfect and easy for us to just roll over and take a nap or rollover and get more sun. Our time was fantastic and well needed. I have mixed feelings. I want you to be able to sell the villa but I am stingy hoping we will be able to visit a fourth time. Keep us posted if anything happens. We are back to the grindstone and have a total new attitude for 2013. Not even noticing the cold weather and snow.
