This is the newest addition (September 2008) to our successful rental program. For the last nine years, we have been privileged to be the owners of a similar company in Paris, France (Our Home in Paris), where we have many wonderful properties that are designed for the sophisticated business or vacationing client.
This apartment is modeled after our Parisian ventures, with wonderful herringbone wood floors, cove ceiling moldings, high-end kitchen with elegant contemporary cherry wood cabinetry and black granite counter tops, stainless steel hi end appliances, bathroom with travertine marble throughout, black granite topped vanity and a large shower with European fixtures.
The living room is separated from the bedroom by oak stained mirrored glass doors. French marble sculpture bas-relief plaques are hung over the bed and the sofa. A drop leaf antique cherry dining room table serves as both a decorative and functional piece;
a dark cherry desk with a gorgeous marble top offers an elegant work space, and a dark brown, rich leather sofa in the living room is very comfortable and opens into a queen size bed for additional guests.
We offer a fusion of a comfortable residence, with all of the amenities of a five star hotel, including housekeeping, high end linens, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, ADSL, and full cable service including CNN/HBO.
Piedmont Park (Atlanta's Central Park) is only a half a block away, and the sunrise is magical.

All of our apartments are spotless - and we use the "WHITE RIBBON" policy - that is, all linens, blankets, robes are wrapped in a white ribbon that tells our guests: this item has been freshly laundered.
Who is the perfect client for this apartment?
1 - Visiting PROFESSIONALS: lawyers, professors, physicians who need a comfortable, fully equipped apartment for a prolonged stay, and who will take advantage of this premium midtown location.
2 - Visitors and TOURISTS who would appreciate an alternative to a hotel, with much more value, amenities and space.
3 - Guests who would want TWO OR THREE APARTMENTS, all in the same building, and who wish to be close to family or colleagues, yet who would also want the privacy of separate apartments. (see VRBO 126027 and 119364 and for our other apartments nearby).
4 - Guests who would rather not be on a very high floor in a tall high-rise "closer to earth but no less charming" -- this seventh floor apartment offers an advantage over our other 25th floor perches.
Please note: these are elegant, small apartments, best suited for the needs of 2-4 guests. These are really not ideal for a group or party experience, and maximum number of guests per apartment, including those renting, would be 6 persons per apartment at any one time.

It was absolutely perfect. The size was great for the two of us. The condo was beautifully decorated and offered everything we needed. Thoughtful little things like a stereo to dock with our ipods, coffee filters already in the cabinet and helpful dining recommendations really made us feel welcome. It was also wonderful to have no hassle parking right in the heart of Midtown. We will most certainly make reservations with you again next time we come to Atlanta. This weekend was everything we wanted it to be and the condo was a big part of that.

This is a superb apartment in Midtown Atlanta! You will not find a better location. Piedmont Park is right down the street with restaurants in both directions around the corner. Reserved underground parking with easy elevator access to a very secure building is included in the price. The apartment is perfect for a couple or two friends. The sleeper sofa is comfortable as well. This will be our home away from home place to stay when visiting our son at Georgia Tech! And the owner provided us with the best instructions I've ever gotten from anyone on vrbo. Thank you Jim!

This place is beautiful. We loved every minute of staying at this condo. Furnished exqusitely and pristine clean. We felt safe and secure. Concierge and staff most helpful. We would most definitely stay here again but only when we can come out and stay longer than we did this visit!

This is the second time we have rented one of the "Touch of Class" properties on VRBO. The first time was for our anniversary, and the second time was this month for our daughter's honeymoon. She raved that the unit was just perfect, the linens and accesories were beautiful, the staff was so helpful and polite, and the detailed instructions were a great comfort to them as they had never driven to downtown Atlanta before. I needed a break from life as I know it and booked at the Mayfair. I had lived in a highrise in Dallas, TX and knew the life a little but this surpassed my expectations. The condo was extremely clean, well appointed and the flow of the floor plan was totally accommadating. The staff at the Mayfair were above kind and friendly, the residence were all kind and the location was a 10+. I felt safe walking around the area, found several great restruants and wonderful shopping. The access by car was easy and I did not have to deal with the interstate and Marta was close by if I chose not to walk. I will be visiting again and plan to stay at any of the condos that myaltantahome has to offer!!!!!! A person will not go wrong with these accommadations.

Three of us stayed in this well appointed condo. We were close to a theatre, several restaurants and a bus pick-up that took us to the AmericasMart. Our host could not have been more pleasant and left no detail to chance. Fine linens, modern appliances and a safe area. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I hope if I am in Atlanta again this will be available.

Jim,The stay was wonderful loved the view and the bed was so cozy i had to drag myself out.The complimentary wine was the best and it was just in time because we was there for our 10th year anniversary i felt so at home the apartment provided everything you need in a home besides the clothes and i will stay again in the near future.Concierge was so helpful they helped us with everything from hair salons to the best chicken in town Gladys Knight chicken and Waffles.Jim keep up the good work with the rentals because you will be number #1 on my list when visiting Atlanta you make traveling feel like home away from home:)

My husband and I recently stayed here for a long weekend in Atlanta. The apt. is beautiful; the location is fantastic--Piedmont Park is a block away and many restaurants are within walking distance; the owner was very helpful in making recommendations; the reservation process, check-in, and check-out were easy. I will definitely recommend this place to firends and I hope to use it again in future visits to the city.
