Wonderful property for travelers with pets and location! There is a large fenced in area - we could send the pups out to do their business without worries. The neighborhood has everything you might need within walking distance. The cottage is squeaky clean and the property owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. This is a great find!

This is honestly way nicer and better than we thought it was going to be. Jacki is a great host and made sure everything was taken care of. Whenever I'm in Atlanta moving forward this is where I'll be staying. Our pups loved running around the driveway/yard area and the fire pit was great to sit around and have a drink. 10/10 would highly recommend. Beats a hotel room any day of the week and is right in the middle of a lovely neighborhood!

Hi all. I’m Jacki. I am a former IT executive now contract Program Manager. I’m a single Mom, an animal lover, and an amateur decorator. I have 3 dogs and 1 foster dog. All are friendly. I moved back to my 1907 home 3 years ago having moved away for work. I renovated the cottage and decided to try short term rentals. I love meeting new people. I also love to offer pet-friendly accommodations with no pet fees. My neighborhood is amazing and so are my neighbors. We all look out for one another. We look forward to hosting you!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the older homes and neighborhood. It’s so convenient to all of the great things in the city. The neighborhood is called old Midtown or Midtown East. We are walking distance to Ponce City Market, Piedmont Park, many shops and restaurants. The street is lined with old Victorian homes. We have large trees, flowers and a beautiful birds and small animals including owls and hawks. It’s peaceful even though we are in the middle of an urban area.

What makes this property unique

My house is a 1907 home. The cottage is located in the back in the rear of the house with off street parking. The cottage was built in 1941. It’s cozy at 400 sq ft. It has 2 main rooms, a bathroom and a hall. There is a small screened in side porch. I have a fire-pit with Adirondack chairs in the yard. There is a pasture gate that closes off the driveway so the dogs can run free. There is a canopy cover for your car. I have space for 2 cars not including my car. The turnaround is tight but doable. Don’t back down my driveway as it is narrow. I have mulch due to the shade and for the dogs in back with a pea gravel pathway. There is also a grill near the shed.

Walking to the Beltline, Trader Joe’s, Whole foods, Petsmart, Starbucks, restaurants and bars and Ponce City Market or Piedmont Park is a breeze. Atlanta has the best festivals and music scene. City Winery and The Fox Theater are close. Botanical Gardens is another great place to go. Getting downtown to see the aquarium, World of Coca-Cola and the stadiums. Ask me about restaurants as there are many great places to eat and enjoy.

My dogs are also a unique feature. If you want to meet them they would love to meet you! Bleu is a 72lb staffy/pit mix who thinks he is small, Georgia is 70 lb black lab Australian Cattledog, Magnolia is 45 lb lab, retriever mix. All are sweet and get along with dogs. I have a foster dog who is a golden mix. She’s young. I am happy to keep them separated if that is your preference. We are flexible. They may bark but they are friendly and doing their job to keep me informed someone is in the yard.

Take a walk around the neighborhood, chill out in the yard or go out on the town! You do you!!
