We had the pleasure of staying at Island Time for 8 nights earlier this month. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The home is beautiful and the view was wonderful. We were impressed how quiet it was there. Often we opted to stay at the villa to enjoy the view, pool and the wonderful, relaxing experience. When traveling back to St Croix we will look to Island Time for accomodations first.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities.

It would be hard to find a more perfect place. It's on the quiet side of the island, within easy reach of miles of walkable deserted beaches. The house is well appointed and we made maximum use of the veranda for meals and just watching the world go by. We recommend this house to anyone wanting to unplug from the daily grind, and enjoy being in paradise. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

Perfect location, perfectly stocked, perfect week. The house was just perfect for the two of us - well stocked, comfortable beds, air conditioned in all rooms. The pool was inviting and the patio was big enough for us to spend much of our time outside. Thanks for a great week.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

My wife and I stayed at this villa last December (2010). It was perfect for our needs. The villa has great views, clean, modern accommodations, and a wonderful combination of usable indoor and outdoor living space. We could lose ourselves lounging by the quiet and private pool which overlooked the yacht Club bay and the Caribbean, forgetting that another world existed; or we could enjoy an excellent entertainment system (indoors and out) and keep up with things using wi-fi (which worked flawlessly). All of the appliances were excellent quality and worked well. A dishwasher and a washer/dryer combo were very useful, but remember to wash full loads and conserve the water. The owners and rental representatives were available and helpful. The property was well maintained. Once we acclimated to driving on the St. Croix roads, everything seemed nearby. While the villa is located near the east end of the island, driving to anywhere we wanted to visit seemed more like an adventure than a chore. The GPS that we brought was very helpful. I-phone GPS works, too. The island has a lot of beautiful places. The villa is very near Udall Point and the also the great beaches near the point. They were long, lonely stretches of beach, and we wish we had found them sooner. All in all it was a great place to stay. We have already recommended it to several friends, and we recommend it to anyone who needs a great, quiet, laid-back getaway.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

About the owner: My wife and I met here on St. Croix in the 1980s. She is from St. Croix, a 7th generation 'crucian' and I am from San Diego. We both love St. Croix, the people, the weather, the water and could not dream of living any where else. She works in the Rum industry, 'Cruzan Rum' and I design and make fine jewelry at Nelthropp & Low, which we own. In 2009 we opened a new bar and soon to be resturant in the old Comanche Mill on the Christiansted boardwalk. Its called the Comanche Mill Yacht-Less Club. Join us on Facebook
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
While sitting on the coral patio you will sometimes see spotted eagle rays swim by. At night we love to dine on the patio with a Cruzan Rum drink and listen to the sounds of the sailboat's mast rigging tinkeling in the breeze. Island Time Villa overlooks the St. Croix Yacht Club in Teague Bay which host many sailboat races. Our villa is perfect to watch the sailboats.
