The condo has 1300 square feet of open living / study/ dining area. Full kitchen. Master Bedroom with King bed, and Master Bath. Guest Bedroom has 2 full size bed to accommodate extra 4 persons. Living room has a pull out sofa for 2 more sleepers. Hall bathroom for everyone's convenience. The marina of the Washington Channel is only a 10-minute walk away. The Subway (Underground or Tube) Mass Transit Rail (MTR) Station is simply a walk across the street.
Just across the street, the Waterfront Mall features a major grocery store, drug store, bank, and dry cleaners.
A ten-minute walk away is L'Enfant Plaza, home to a variety of government agencies and businesses including a large in-door shopping mall with over fifty stores and restaurants. And, it's a short Metro ride to downtown Washington shopping and to Pentagon City Mall just across the Potomac River.
If you have your own vehicle, an assigned parking space is included.

DC Waterfront District
Washington, DC Southwest Quadrant including DC's Waterfront district is actually composed of four separate sections:
The Southwest Employment District, the area between the National Mall and the Southeast/Southwest Freeway (Interstate 395) that contains the Smithsonian museums along the south side of the Mall — including the Hirshhorn Museum, the National Air and Space Museum, the U.S. Holocaust Museum, and the Museum of the American Indian — as well as L'Enfant Plaza and a large concentration of federal office buildings for Executive Branch departments and the U.S. House of Representatives;
the Southwest Waterfront, between I-395 and the Potomac River, a residential neighborhood that is home to the Maine Ave Fish Market, Arena Stage, the Washington Marina, and Hains Point; East and West Potomac Park, a conjunction of two national parks between I-395 and the National Mall that contain the Tidal Basin, the Jefferson Memorial;
The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial (West Potomac Park continues into Northwest and includes the Lincoln Memorial and World War II Memorial, both of which straddle the Southwest/Northwest boundary); and the area south and east of the Anacostia River containing Bolling Air Force Base, the military installation which together with Naval District Washington, Naval Research Laboratory, and Blue Plains sewage treatment plant occupies all of the Southwest land between South Capitol Street (to the east) and the Anacostia River (to the west).

Jim was incredibly patient with us, the apartment was much bigger and nicer than I had imagined, the location could not be beat, and I put all the washing machines and dryers in the basement to good use! Just wanted to thank you for the perfect apartment we had for our visit to DC. The location was beautiful, perfect for evening walks along the Washington Channel. Also it was close to the metro and only two stops from The Mall. It was quiet and clean. We had everything we needed plus having the computer and printer in the apartment was definitely an appreciated "extra." We have raved about the apartment to our friends and hope that some of us will have the luxury of enjoying the apartment some day.

We can not say enough about our accommodations and your hospitality both were terrific The condos location with a Safeway, Pharmacy and the Metro right across the street made easy access for our needs and travel. A short walk to a enjoyable river front cafe made our evenings relaxing. The condo was awesome - spacious, clean, comfortable and a great view.
