Our one-year old Amarillo Ranch home, which we’ve named Port Lodge, is tastefully appointed to create a cozy home away from home and is situated on a PRIVATE LOT! This section of Hemingway Village has 6’ surrounding fences for the ultimate in privacy! Our home was furnished for our family and friends, but as we can’t be here all the time we would like to share it with you!
The open plan living area includes comfortable, cozy seating with a 32” HD television and HD/digital cable. A DVD player, VCR and stereo are at your fingertips. The dining table comfortably seats 6. The kitchen comes fully equipped with every possible modern convenience and kitchen tool, for the times you dine in. There is a complete dinner service for 8 as well as outdoor dining ware to enjoy on the lanai. All linens and towels are provided. A large gas barbeque, an iron and board, beach towels, and hair dryers are here for your use.
The Master Bedroom features a king-size pillow-top bed, walk-in closet, 26” television, DVD, and stereo. The Master Bath has a walk-in shower and double sinks. The Guest Bedroom is complete with a queen-size pillow-top bed, large closet, 26” television, and stereo.
The Study is equipped with PC and high-speed internet, wireless connection (should you bring your own laptop), television, stereo, and high-quality futon to sleep two. There is also a large closet and separate entrance to the lanai.
The Guest Bath has been nicely fitted and the bath/shower has a shower door. There is a pocket door that can be used to create a private suite to include the Guest Bedroom, Guest Bathroom and Study. Many books and games can be found in the Study when you need some time off from golf and other activities. You’ll also find a nice selection of DVD's to choose from.
The indoor laundry room houses a new full-sized washer and tumble dryer; loads of space and plenty of storage abound! In the garage there are two bicycles and a Yamaha gas-powered golf cart for your use. There is also a seating area on the front porch to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down.
Port Lodge is just a 2 minute walk to Hemingway pool, 1/2 mile to the new Havana Country Club, 1/2 mile to Truman Rec Center, and 1 mile to Colony Regional Rec Center. The Colony Plaza is located adjacent to Colony Rec Center and is a bustling shopping center with Publix grocery, bank, Walgreens Drugs, clothing shops, beauty shops, barber, dry cleaners, liquor store, gas station, and many restaurants. Every convenience within a mile! We are located just 2.5 miles from Lake Sumter Landing, one of the two downtown areas.
All taxes, utilities, digital cable TV, trash service, lawn service, The Daily Sun (newspaper) and local phone service with voicemail is included in your rental. An additional one-time fee of $50 is required for your Temporary ID Cards to enjoy all the usual owner amenities (FREE visits to all pools and FREE golf on all Executive courses!!).
