The private and quiet condo was recently fully remodeled. Floor to ceiling windows; a balcony with spectacular views; oak , tile and cork flooring; contemporary furnishing; fully equipped kitchen with granite counters; and luxury towels, linens and comforters. Original artwork and photography is displayed on the walls. For your enjoyment, there is a flat screen TV along with an iPod stereo with wireless speakers. Included is an iMac computer, printer and wireless high speed internet access.
The living area has seating area featuring a leather couch that converts into a bed that sleeps two as well as a separate matching loveseat. Also in the living room is a workstation for the computer and your office needs. The bedroom has a memory foam topper bed with featherbed and 100% cotton hi count bedding and two night stands. The remodeled bathroom features a tub and shower combo, and custom oak cabinetry along with a sit on top sink.

The fully-equipped, self-catering kitchen includes a stainless steel refrigerator, ceramic top stove, dishwasher, microwave, and a large stainless sink surrounded by ample cabinets. Since this is our second home, the kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen essentials. Help yourself to whatever is there.
Vancouver is a center for the culinary arts offering a wide variety of truly exceptional restaurants (of all price ranges), boutique markets, bakeries and, of course, Granville Island-all in close proximity. We maintain a regularly updated list of restaurants and markets for your convenience.

We live in a rural area in the US and have always seen Vancouver as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This is our second home and is short distance away from our primary home but a world away.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The West End is spectacularly beautiful with easy access to the entire city. The city is very cosmopolitan with especially a strong Asian community. We bike everyday we are here, either around Stanley Park or around the Sea Wall to either Coal Harbor or around False Creek or up to UBC. A great place to visit.

We just got back from a 5 night stay at "Harvey's". The condo was comfortable with great sunset views. It is in an excellent location, as we walked to Stanley Park, shops, English Bay, restaurants, etc. The owner was very helpful and accommodating!

This is a great little condo in a great location in the West End. Loved staying here for a week. The views from the balcony were beautiful and satisfying. The location and proximity to English Bay and the beach and the West End and Granville Island and EVERYWHERE else was great! The condo building is older and very well maintained. Lovely entry garden. QUIET despite the density in the neighborhood. Kitchen could be better supplied with functional utensils and sharper knives, but otherwise easy to prepare several delicious meals. Our trip to Vancouver was one of the best, and staying in this condo was a contributing factor to feeling right at home! We'd definitely stay here again, and will happily recommend to our VBC bound friends!

My wife and I recently spent four nights in this lovely condo in Vancouver's West End. The condo is nicely decorated and well equipped, but its best feature is its location. Situated only a block from Vancouver's English Bay with a large deck overlooking the bay, you are only a few minutes walk from Stanley Park, from the vibrant neighborhood cafes, bars, and shops of Davie Street and Denman Street and from the foot ferry to the Granville public market. The owners made our long birthday celebration weekend especially nice by leaving a bottle of wine on the table to greet us! We look forward to staying there again.

Just back from my third trip to this great condo. It is centrally located -- easy walking to stores, restaurants, downtown. We parked the car the day we arrived and did not need to use it again until we drove home. The building is quiet, and this condo has a great view of English Bay. The small balcony is a great place to sit, sip a glass of wine, and watch the boats go by -- and great for sunsets, too. The condo itself is nicely furnished, with modern kitchen and bathroom. It was clean, the owners very helpful with restaurant recommendations, seeing the sights, etc. Very highly recommended. Nearby: Stanley Park is great (aquarium, bike paths, sea wall walking route); downtown close; or get a one day bus pass and venture into other neighborhoods (such as Little Italy, Commercial/Broadway district, Kitsilano or Kerrisdale). Easy to get to Granville Island, too; small ferry boats cross False Creek -- so it's easy to get to the shops and markets at Granville.

Over the last few years I have used this condo a number of times. It has become my home away from home in Vancouver. The location cannot be beat. It has a terrific view and excellent location. The access to Stanley Park, the Vancouver Art Gallery, Granville Island, galleries, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. The condo itself is clean, modern, well-appointed and comfortable. The entertainment center is really nice, the internet is fast, and the kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals (with supplies from a grocery store just a few minutes away, or from Granville Island farmers market just across the water). I mostly go with one other person, but recently visited with my wife and two teenagers. Even then the condo worked well for us with the kids sleeping comfortably in the livingroom while my wife and I used the very comfortable bed in the bedroom. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Vancouver.

We have stayed at this west end condo twice, and are heading back again soon. It's a great place. First, the condo itself is very nice--- very comfortable for two people, and the building is very quiet. It's clean, nicely remodeled, and really pleasant. Tremendous views, too, of English Bay. On nice days, the balcony is a treat. Second, the location is just right -- near all of the activity of Vancouver but in a quiet residential area. The place is close to Davie and Denman streets -- from cafes, coffee, grocery stores, and so on. I have rented through VRBO in many cities, and this condo is about the best I've ever found. Great owner, too, very responsive on questions, etc.

I almost hate to write this because I want to have lots of availability to stay here again! This was our second summer for a week long stay at "Harvey's"(name of the owner) in Vancouver. I cannot express how much we have fallen in love with the city, the condo, and the location. We visited the condo with our children and could not have had a better experience...the views, updated decor, complimentary bottle of wine, fresh flowers, and just general feeling of welcome at the condo made our two summers fantastic.The location of the condo is perfect with many many restaurants in close walking distance. Stanley park is close by as well. We enjoyed hikes, bike rides, roller blading, and golf in the park. There are beaches literally across the street from the condo. Granville Island with all of its great food and shopping is just a water taxi ride away. We did not even need our car in this condo and kept it parked except for a trip to the nearby mountains for a hike. Thanks Harvey and Deb for two wonderful visits to what feels like your home!
