Fabulous wine country estate

We rented the estate for a couples (4) getaway and couldn't have been more pleased. The home itself is beautiful, and the architect in our group was amazed with it's design and construction. The decor is interestingly eclectic which only adds to the home's charm. Gardens, pool, and views are fantastic. The posted pictures are beautiful, but the property is really more than what can be shown in a photograph. We had a difficult time leaving it it for our planned activities. The owner is warm and friendly - even meeting us at the property to give us all a tour and show us where things are and how they worked. The 10 minute drive from St. Helena to the property is a winding mountain road, but worth it for the house and views. There are several wineries within a 5 minute drive. Our favorite activities were a hosted wine tour (Platypus Tours), renting bikes (Calistoga Bike Shop), and being at the estate. All 8 of us highly recommend this rental property and hope to be returning to it in the near future!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
