  Wonderful location. Beautifully organized. Efficient, warm welcome. Lovely, bright, well appointed flat. I would stay here again and will recommend without hesitation. There is a new Internet that works perfectly.

  Beautiful apartment with all amenities advertised, except on this stay anyway, internet access. This proved to be a real headache for us as we were combining our holiday with some business and actually booked the apartment not only for its location but the wi-fi access advertised. On a previous stay at the apartment 12 months ago we had no issues with internet access and were more than pleased with all aspects of this property. Hopefully our recent experience was an isolated incident. Owner has promised a 20% reduction so at least our tribulations have been recognised.

  Owner response: This is the first time it happens in three years time of rental, and we were taken off guard with the issue. Internet is sometimes down because of the provider and then it´s out of our hands. This time we were unaware that we had a sudden broken modem. For sure the future will have an idea of a backup plan as well as information what to do should it happen, as you this time uncomfortably had to find out for yourselves. On this we do apologize and thank you for your understanding.

  The apartment was as excellent as shown in the photos of the listing and we were warmly welcomed. Everything worked well and all facilities have a very high standard according to the description in the listing. It was clean and well maintained. The owner and the person who welcomed us were very helpful in advance and flexible. Further detailed description of the apartment and recommendations were very helpful during our stay. The advance payment procedure was trustworthy. We would go back immediately and would recommend it to friends and family.

  Overall: the apartment is very large and spacious and beautifully maintained, and is in a great neighbourhood. Pluses: the apartment looks better than it appears in the photos - it is a modern, well furnished apartment in a classy period style building; it is extremely well maintained; it is very quiet; it has a decent sized balcony that overlooks a garden area; the neighbourhood is lovely - with street cafes and restaurants and with a (gentrified) hip feel (in our view it is definitely the area to stay in Berlin); the location couldn't be beaten: a 2 minute walk to the underground (the U2 line, which is probably the best line to be on - with only 2 stops to Alexanderplatz), a 5 minute walk to a supermarket; very well equipped - eg an iPod/iPhone sound system and a very good and well equipped kitchen. Minuses (these are tiny points): bring your own Nespresso capsules (there were none there when we arrived and KaDeWe is a long way for your first coffee in Berlin); a very small TV.

  Recently, my wife and I spent a month at this apartment. The written description of the apartment is totally accurate and free from hyperbole. The pictures in the description do not do it justice. There are two spacious areas, the living and bedroom, and a modern efficient bathroom. The apartment has high ceilings, hardwood floors, an ultra modern kitchen with excellent appliances and utensils, and a wonderful "rainshower" showerhead bathroom with plenty of hot water. The metro is less than a five minute walk and close to Alexander Platz, the main transfer point in the city. Kollwitz St. is a tree-lined avenue with many shops, restaurants, a Thursday-Saturday open market, and is part of an authentic Berlin neighborhood with few tourists. The building is located in a courtyard and totally insulated from street noise. Security is excellent and the elevator is a blessing after a long day of sightseeing. Upon arrival we were given a packet of written info that was extremely helpful in learning the area. All questions were promptly answered by phone or email. The apartment was impeccably cleaned and the linens and towels changed once a week. The french press coffee maker, nespresso machine and milk frother made the day's beginning delightful.It is very easy and convenient to sightsee, return to the apartment for an afternoon rest period, and then go to a concert, or opera, or club in the evening, all on fast efficient public transport. My wife and I were completely satisfied with this apartment and would not hesitate to rent it again when we return to Berlin.

  This apartment is beautifully kept, immaculate, and has the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. There were no problems with anything that came up during out stay. The only thing worth mentioning is that the flat doesn't have a lot of character or warmth, but, rather, is sparkling clean and well maintained. We would absolutely stay there again if we return to Berlin due to its location, cleanliness, bed, and functionality. One problem that had nothing to do with the apartment was the weather. It was cold and rainy for our entire week in Berlin so that we couldn't use the balcony which might have made the apartment feel more homey.

  The location in a cozy and convenient part of Berlin cannot be beat, the subway is right outside but still you can walk to Museum island and many other sights. excellent cafes restaurants and bars abound just outside the door. the apartment is very stylish and comfortable and has everything you need, including wifi, dishwasher, and great water pressure in the shower after a long day strolling the streets of Berlin. Highly recommended. Our only regret is that we did not catch a glimpse of the neighborhood fox.

  Loved our time in this well appointed and perfectly located apartment. The local restaurants and close proximity to most areas, including the Mitte, made this a perfect choice for our recent holiday. We hope to return to Berlin in the near future and would certainly be keen to rebook this great space.

  My wife and I had a great experience in Berlin for our first time. Mostly due to the apartment ! perfect location, cool interior, high quality finishing and well equipped. It was so nice to just walk up or down the street and find a selection of cool bistro's and dining spots. We were there for a week and when we come back we hope to stay longer.   My wife and I rented this apartment in the fall of 2011 for 4 nights. My only regret is that we didn't stay even longer. It is an easy trip into the heart of the city on public transportation, so all of the usual tourist spots are accessible, but it is also located in a hip part of the city that is not overrun by tourists. Restaurants and great bars abound. We would spend every day doing touristy things elsewhere and then settle into Prenzlauer Berg for the nighttime hours. Drinks at the Scotch and Sofa whisky bar were a highlight each night and we ate meals from around the world (Cuban, African, Indian, old-school Alsatian), all within walking distance. The apartment itself is beautiful with every possible amenity. I highly recommend it!
