Loved our time in this well appointed and perfectly located apartment. The local restaurants and close proximity to most areas, including the Mitte, made this a perfect choice for our recent holiday. We hope to return to Berlin in the near future and would certainly be keen to rebook this great space.

My wife and I had a great experience in Berlin for our first time. Mostly due to the apartment ! perfect location, cool interior, high quality finishing and well equipped. It was so nice to just walk up or down the street and find a selection of cool bistro's and dining spots. We were there for a week and when we come back we hope to stay longer. Even the most picky future tenants will love it!! A&K Vancouver Canada

My wife and I rented this apartment in the fall of 2011 for 4 nights. My only regret is that we didn't stay even longer. It is an easy trip into the heart of the city on public transportation, so all of the usual tourist spots are accessible, but it is also located in a hip part of the city that is not overrun by tourists. Restaurants and great bars abound. We would spend every day doing touristy things elsewhere and then settle into Prenzlauer Berg for the nighttime hours. Drinks at the Scotch and Sofa whisky bar were a highlight each night and we ate meals from around the world (Cuban, African, Indian, old-school Alsatian), all within walking distance. The apartment itself is beautiful with every possible amenity. I highly recommend it!

This is a fab, modern apartment in the über-hip Prenzlauer Berg "Kiez" of Berlin. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable is here. Around the area, there are numerous bars, cafes, restaurants, individual shops and supermarkets. On a Saturday morning, the local Kollwitzplatz Market is a must for picking up all sorts of goodies to eat. The nearest U-Bahn station is only about 100 metres away, from which you can take connecting lines to both Berlin airports, as well as having access to the major sights. Scotch and Sofa became my local bar, just 50 metres away! The apartment itself was clean, with all mod cons. I was met, as arranged, by Jürgen, who gave me the guided tour. The apartment benefits from being in a quiet courtyard meaning a very restful location for a good night's sleep. This was very much appreciated, having sampled the Berlin nightlife until the wee small hours of the morning! Prenzlauer Berg is a fabulous area for walking around, with leafy avenues and friendly inhabitants. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this apartment for a short vacation and I will definitely return. Thanks Magnus and Jürgen! From Kevin, Aberdeen, U.K.

Great location for local cafes and restaurants without any tourists. Beautiful apartment, quiet and very well maintained. Spotlessly clean with beautiful linen. Friendly meet and greet. Balcony was a real addition overlooking immaculate gardens. Felt like we were among the local community.

We stayed in this well-appointed, new and modern apartment for 10 days in June 2011 and just loved it. The neighbourhood is great with all amenities nearby (restaurants, bike rentals, grocery stores, shopping, metro station). It's a charming area and this apartment is situated very well. The apartment is quite spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We enjoyed preparing a few meals in the ultra-modern kitchen and then eating on the balcony overlooking the well-manicured grounds. The owner of the apartment as well as the manager who greeted us when we arrived attended to all of our needs and were available to us if any questions arose. We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in Berlin. It is a great value and is especially good for longer stays.

Magnus' apartment is a superb choice to call home while visiting Berlin. The location is very central, offering many great places within easy walking / biking distance. It's also only two quick subway stops to Alexanderplatz, one of Berlin's main transportation hubs to just about anywhere in the metropolitan area (and beyond). The neighborhood is (more or less) where Prenzl'berg and Mitte meet, with something new and interesting to discover in just about any direction. The nearby Kollwitplatz markets (Thursday and Saturdays) are a feast of high-quality produce, flowers, meats, textiles, toys, clothing, and more. The Jewish cemetery (right next door) is fascinating and haunting; Kulturbrauerei is a highly effective conversion of a historic brewery into an arts and entertainment hub; Mauerpark is a trip (though I found the Sunday market there a bit overwhelming and not as good as others elsewhere in Berlin), and the shops/restaurants/pubs on Kastanianallee are really fabulous -- be sure to visit the Prater beer garden. All of this is very close to the apartment. I looked at a lot of choices for a place to stay during my extended visit, and can strongly recommend VRBO and Magnus. It's a WYSIWYG model, no extra or hidden charges (which seem common on almost all of the agency-managed properties), all very clearly communicated up front and easily handled via PayPal. Your stay is very well managed, with a great deal of helpful information provided before you arrive and while you're in the apartment. Jürgen is also very helpful and friendly. The unit (and others' comments on this site) pretty much speaks for itself. Again, what you see on this site is what you get; it's stylish, roomy, well designed, and comfortable. The second-floor unit (which in Germany is designated a first floor unit) has a very peaceful view from the balcony of two very lovely back yard gardens immediately below you -- really a quiet refuge in the heart of the city. You will certainly enjoy staying here! Have fun.

The apartment itself is large ,airy, and beautifully maintained and designed. Everything works perfectly , great shower,bed,kitchen- all state of the art appliances and quality, which when traveling, is such a bonus as many apartment rentals are set up for a transient audience and are poorly equipped. The balcony is a lovely place to relax , overlooking the quiet back garden. We stayed nine days and enjoyed some slow mornings as the apartment is such a pleasant, beautiful and comfortable space. The apartment is perfectly located . You can stroll the street outside your door , rent bikes across the street, organic grocery market on the corner and much shopping and restaurants within a 5 block radius. The owner was 100% responsive, helpful and timely in all communications and transactions. He attached a great list of local markets, shopping ,restaurants and necessary numbers. And last- he has an nespresso machine which I am now going to purchase as I can not live without it. We would stay here again without a doubt.

We stayed in April and had a terrific time. The street has it all - international restaurants, cafes and shops. The location is also convenient to the underground and fast access to other Berlin neighborhoods. The property owner was most gracious and made great efforts to assure that we were comfortable. Would recommend to anyone visiting Berlin.
