This roomy studio with a private bathroom was perfect for 2 people. Clean, comfortable and relaxing this room was located on the second floor off a courtyard. Just down from the castle and up from the Charles Bridge, there is quick access to the tram which will take you anywhere in the city. Within a block there are also great restaurants, cafes and bars. There were a number of young people staying in the building but so it did get a bit loud at times but this was not an issue for us. We would highly recommend this to friends and family alike. A wonderful place to call home in Prague.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed at the apartment for three days, therefore it was fine for the length of time we were there. We pretty much lived out of our suitcases, as there were not any drawers, and the armoir was quite small. Because we were there for such a short time, this was not an issue. BONUS - there was a significantly large water closet, which really makes a difference when travelling with others. That said, it could have used, at the very least, a hand towel, a mirror, a towel rack, and perhaps a shelf for toiletry bags, etc. The shower room was comfy enough, though no waste basket, and the towel rack was crammed in a bit. Water pressure in shower was excellent, and the room itself is lovely. The foyer is spacious, with a small rack to hang coats, etc. The kitchen area was great, in the same room as the "bedroom". The entire space has high ceilings, great lines, and is generally a superb space to stay in. We found the bed quite comfortable and it was perfect for us two girlfriends, as we had lots of room and individual quilts. It's a gorgeous apartment, with old architecture, high ceilings and the interior design is very tasteful. The music in the evenings added ambiance for us - it was off by a reasonable hour for sleeping. Air flow was fine as we kept upper windows open for fresh air. Could have used a roll of paper towels, and the bathroom paper was allocated one roll per person - and odd way to consider this kind of supply, but not a huge deal. The coordination of pick ups and drop offs went very well, and Petra answered every email promptly and politely. We would highly recommend this apartment to a couple or two friends. Listing was true to form, location excellent. We took an electric bike tour our first day, located just down the street, which gave us a comprehensive overview of the city, making it easy to navigate from there. Everything is within walking distance from this apartment. Our evening walks accross the Charles Bridge after dinner in the evenings were magical. One can really sense and feel the historical energy of Prague being in this apartment.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed in the apartment for five days in March, and it was perfect! The location is great for exploring any part of the city. We walked to Petrin Hill, Prague Castle, Old Town and literally everything in between. It is minutes to everything in Prague. The apartment itself was great as well. We had ...a large table for dining, a small refridgerator and an excellent shower. The taxi to and from the airport is an excellent addition as well. If I were to stay in Prague, I would not look anywhere other than this apartment!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I stayed here with my two daughters for three nights in mid-December. The location is fantastic. It's about a ten-minute walk to Prague Castle and less than a five-minute walk to the Charles River Bridge. It's very easy to walk everywhere you want to go, but if you want to take the tram, there's a stop just outside the apartment. The apartment is also very close to restaurants, souvenir shops and even a McDonald's, so everything really is close at hand. That was very helpful. The apartment is on the third floor, and while we always took the stairs, there is also an elevator in the building. The apartment is exactly as it is pictured. We had a great time, but I gave this four stars instead of five stars for two reasons. One, it can be a little bit noisy since there is an open courtyard and a bar down below. I noticed the noise in particular on the Friday night of our stay and we had all of our windows closed. Two, the bedroom smells a little bit smoky. The owners clearly display "no smoking" signs, but some renters have sadly not abided by the rule. I got used to it, but I wasn't a fan of the cigarette smoke smell. Vladimir and Petra were both very helpful, which was appreciated. You can even have Vladimir pick you up at the train station for 15 Euros. He was there right on time and it was extremely convenient. It was also easy to take the metro back to the train station to take our train back to Vienna. There was a Prague guidebook in the apartment too for us to use during our stay. Very nice touch. Thank you for a great stay. We really enjoyed our time in Prague.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

My husband and I just spent a long weekend in Prague and stayed in this apartment. This was our first trip to Prague, so we spent most of our days walking around the city sightseeing. The location of this apartment was ideal for this. It is near the bottom of the Prague Castle and a short walk from the Charles Bridge and Old Town. So it was easy for us to walk to everything we wanted to see. The apartment itself is well maintaied and had everything we needed. I also liked that it overlooked an interior courtyard so that it was quiet at night. It's listed as a one-bedroom but I would actually consider it a studio since the kitchen and bed are in the same room. Either way, it was spatious enough for the two of us and we were not dissapointed. Petra and Vladimir were great to work with too. Petra was very quick to respond to our emails both when we were booking the apartment and when we had questions during our stay. And Vladimir was very punctual when he drove us from and to the airport. Overall, we were very satisfied with this apartment and would definitely stay there again! If you're headed to Prague, I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment. while you're there you should see the castle, walk across the Charles Bridge and explore Old Town. If you're up for some exercise, hiking up Petrin Hill is definitely worth it. All of these sites are located right near this apartment. I would also check out the jazz clubs and classical music concerts. If you like fine dining, we really enjoyed Alcron. We also loved to just stop at random places and eat goulash and have a beer. Enjoy Prague!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Prague, Close to EVERYTHING in the centre, so we walked everywhere. There were plenty of reasonable restaurants and bars on the street below, but no noise from them could be heard in the apartment which was great. We had no problems with our trnasfers, we kept our driver informed by text that our train was delayed and he met us exactly where he said he would be at the new time. Well equipped place with hobs, pans etc for cooking which was great, all clean, tidy and stylish facilities (hairdryer, towels, bedding etc) . LOVED IT!! We had a superb time in Prague, and it was good to come home in the evenings to a lovely HUUUGE Comfy bed and a safe, clean living space. Cannot recommend highly enough for location, value and ease!! THANK YOU :)Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Petra gave us all needed information well in advance of travelling. The room was as shown and the location was both quiet and mere minutes away from the famous Charles Street Bridge. The apartment was spacious and we wanted for nothing! Thank you so much for all your help Petra and also to your manager for picking us up at the airport. I would highly recommend staying here and would do it again in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We stayed a week in the apartment and were disappointed from the moment we walked in the door. It didn't look anything like the place on VRBO. We got in touch with Lucie from the start, but were told it was what we had booked. Did get picked up from the airport by Vladimir which was a blessing as we were travelling for two months and had rather large suitcases. unfortunately the apartment had only 1 little wardrobe with some shelves in it, which hardly catered for us, so we actually ended up living out of our suitcases for the week. Quiet neighbourhood - well it may be away from street noise but sounds from the restaurant continued well into the night and if we ever hear another Beatles song we'll go insane - non-stop until closing and then again the next day. Also as the apartment was inside a hostel we had the ragers coming home at all hours screaming and yelling and it seemed liked kicking rubbish bins just to add to the noise. The appliances weren't new, in fact the stove top was one of the oldest we think we have seen. Same went for the microwave and the kettle. The apartment could have been cleaner. We found wine glasses, odd glasses, and cutlery still in the dish rack along with plates and saucepans. All this could have been put away to make to apartment a little more cleaner. Had a fan but was so noisy couldn't use it (it was replaced the next day) opened windows .. hello noise. I agree with one of the other reviewers, spend some money on the place and fix it up to look like what the photos show on VRBO. NEEDS more wardrobe space, at least 1 dresser to put tshirts etc in. more than 1 teatowel, some decent bath towels. Paper towels for the kitchen would have been nice, but we made do with tissue. I know it's not a hotel but when you are paying for accommodation you expect what is listed. Oh and to put the icing on the cake .. we had booked Vladimir to pick us up at 1130 to take us to the airport, I phoned him at 1140 to find out where he was he said he would be there in 5-8 minutes - a taxi turned up asking if we had booked one and on the off chance I phoned Vladimir again and yes he had booked a cab for us. Not happy Jan! As far as booking the place etc Lucie and Petra were very good. What a pity as the location couldn't have been better, lovely little side streets with great restaurants. We loved Prague and would definitely go back but unless the apartments were better we would stay elswhere.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: Laurel & Stefan, We appreciate this review but must take issue with a couple of points. Firstly, I need to repeat and point out publicly that we did send you photos and information about the exact apartment you have stayed in. This email has been send to you on June 2nd 2012, it was the very first email we have sent as a reaction to your inquiry. I’m pointing this out as it might be misleading for some people and they could actually think that we are housing people in different properties than we are offering them. This is definitely not true. As a matter of fact when we did send the photos of the available unit and mentioned that we have 3 very similar units in the same building you requested photos of the other 2 units we offer so you did see all 3 of them. Furthermore, we were in contact throughout your stay answering questions and when you complained about the fan being noisy we purchased and brought a new one over to you the next day. Some of the other points are valid although the stove works well and none of the other equipment has ever been an issue. The heat this year was unseasonably warm and thus the apartment was quite hot during your stay. We spoke to the hotel about the noise and they assure us that they will stop this as much as possible but sometimes as is always the case, some groups can be loud. This can occur in private apartments and 5-star hotels. We did actually buy a complete set of new towels, bedding, sheets, etc.. to renew the original ones for more comfort of our clients. We always welcome constructive criticism as we are striving to make our guests have the best possible stay in Prague and we will work on the improvements to make sure this is always the case. Petra

We recently visited Prague and loved it!!!! Petra was a dream dealing with our complicated schedule and was very accommodating when we arrived at 4am (OMG). Vladimir picked us up at the airport and took us straight to the apartment. The location is superb and really right in the center. The pictures of the exterior and view are accurate which is a huge plus as we are used to staying in places where the pictures don’t match at all. The apartment was spotless and the bed comfortable. I recently read a review listing problems with this apartment and I have to say none of the problems seemed to exist so I am assuming that Petra and Vladimir sorted them out. The only thing that I would recommend would be that guests could rent Vladimir for the day as a tour guide he is absolutely fabulous and his command of English is superb. Two thumbs up from the ConnorsRecommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
