Imagine........sipping your morning coffee or eating a cozy dinner on your own private balcony, watching and listening to the waves of the Gulf of Mexico. Sapphire Condo 707 is a privately owned condo located on the 7th floor of the newest and most luxurious condominiums on South Padre Island. The condos are located directly on the beach and our ocean side balcony offers spectacular views of the Gulf! The bay-side balcony offers a beautiful sunset and an electric grill.
Professionally decorated, the condo provides a warm, relaxing and stress-free environment. A fully equipped kitchen will turn even the less experienced cook into a master chef! The master bedroom offers a wonderfully, luxurious king size bed with a view of the Gulf through the large picture window! The large master bath provides two sinks, spacious walk-in shower, jetted tub and huge closet.
The second bedroom has two queen size beds, while the third bedroom has a twin size bed and pull-out trundle. All the mattresses in each room are so comfortable you won't want to get out of bed! The living room and three bedrooms include a flat screen TV. Each bedroom also comes equipped with a ceiling fan. In addition to high speed internet, Condo 707 is equipped with Wifi access. The second bathroom is quite large as well and also offers two sinks.
Sapphire's amenities make this a very popular vacation destination for families. In addition to the beach and all its related activities; Sapphire offers a spectacular 300' pool, a teen room equipped with pool table, shuffleboard, foosball, pin ball machines, and computers, as well as a 24 seat theater. A very well equipped fitness center and a world class spa are also available on the first floor.
A utility room is located in the unit with washer and dryer. We also provide an ironing board and iron and blow-dryers in both bathrooms! Additionally, we provide board games, video library and a Nintendo Wii with games! So even if it rains........you can still have a blast! You will also find a DVD player in each bedroom!
BONUS: We also provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, sand/beach toys for the little ones (or the grown-ups...) and a cooler on wheels!
Conveniently located just over the causeway on South Padre Island, and within walking distance of Schlitterbahn Water Park. Once you get here.....you won't want to leave! We really enjoyed our stay at Sapphire 707. All you need to bring is yourself, sunblock and a swimsuit and you are all set! The owner provides everything else you need for your fun days at the beach. We found beach towels, beach toys, coolers, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards, a very convenient addition.
The condo appeared exactly as described in the listing. The view from the living room/kitchen and balcony was amazing, and definitely did not disappointment. It was beautiful to look out at and people watch. We ate on the balcony a couple of times and also enjoyed watching a lightning storm one night from the living room. The pool was nice and not overly crowded. Sapphire guests are allowed to use The Pearl’s pool next door which we enjoyed since it had a frog slide and was kid friendly. They also played music and had a walk-up bar with refreshments and food.
The master bedroom was spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. Each bathroom had dual sinks and all the amenities were provided. Hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and even make up remover were provided. Hair dryers were also provided in each bathroom and there were plenty of towels and washcloths. The condo also included a washer and dryer. We used them a couple of times. It was nice to pack up clean clothes for the trip home.
The other two bedrooms were exactly as described. The kitchen had all stainless steel appliances and the entire condo was up to date. It was very refreshing and there was even a spice rack. The hotel staff was all very friendly and helpful as well. The elevators were extremely fast, important since we were up on the 7th floor. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family.

We had such an amazing, relaxing girl getaway at your condo! EVERYTHING we needed was available to us. Beautifully appointed condo stocked with anything we needed to cook, relax, sunbath, workout....on and on. The staff was so helpful and friendly...the condo & complex AMAZING & super clean! Highly recommend Sapphire 707! AND the owner is the best!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The condo was very nice. It is nice in the pictures but far exceeds what the pictures show. We found everthing we needed for the weekend stay. The condo is very well stocked with everthing you will need. I tend to look very close at how clean the place is as to traces of previus guests and found that it was extremly clean. The quiet of the Saphire and the ability to visit the Pearl next door was nice. Tori was very easy to deal with and you will not go wrong with this condo. We have rented many and this is the nicest yet.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

Sent to Sapphire 707 on 3/24/2013: Hello. We absolutely loved your condo. It was beautifully decorated. I absolutely LOVED the colors that were in there. It was so comfy and homey. The beds were as comfortable as it had been mentioned in the info, the mattress was wonderful, slept like a dream. We had a great time even though it was cold and foggy, we had a few hours of some sunshine, but my son didn't care he had an absolute blast playing in the ocean. This was received by our Winter Texans during their 45 day stay: This is the best one yet! I love condo 707! The furnishings are so beautiful! Well ....I am packing up today to leave the Sapphire tomorrow. . We have really enjoyed staying in 707. It is decorated beautifully, it has everything a person would need, and chatting with you was a bonus. All the condos at Sapphire are all really nice....but you go the extra mile. We forgot our beach chairs and the kids boogie boards, not to worry everything we needed and more was there for our use. Definitely recommend! We just had a great week at the Sapphire. We were lucky that we had great weather also. The condo was very nice. The reason for 4 stars is we did not have a dishwasher the entire time we were there. It was broken, however, Tori did give a spa credit to compensate, but with 8 people, would have rather had the dishwasher. The condo was stocked well, however, I would suggest having someone go through and clean out the cabinets and clean out what other people have left from previous visits. It made it tough for us to have room for us to put our groceries and supplies that we brought.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Again, we are truly sorry about the dishwasher. As we indicated, there was a power surge on the island the morning of your arrival and the dishwasher immediately went out. We made every attempt to get one in while you were there, however, as previously indicated - we are on an island - and scheduling installation is more cumbersome than being located in a big city. Regarding items that others have left in the cabinets, we were not advised of this problem. We ourselves, allow coffee, creamer, sugar, flour, spices, etc. to be passed on from tenant to tenant. Additionally, we keep a cabinet stocked with suntan products, tylenol, etc. And below the sink we keep cleaning products, garbage sacks and such. Also, we welcome foil, extra paper towels, sandwich and storage bags, and any other paper or storage products. Had we had know there was a problem, we definitely would have had someone come up and remove items you felt were inappropriate. We do our very best to exceed our guests expectations and go above and beyond when trying to accommodate our guests. We had hoped the $100 spa credit due to the inability to get a new dishwasher installed could have helped to alleviate any stress or inconvenience. I do hope that others will read and put more weight on all of our other extremely positive reviews when deciding to make a reservation. We really do want to be your home away from home!

A beautifully decorated condo with a well equipped kitchen. All the family and guests who visited us during our week long stay were very impressed with this rental. Our friends had rented another condo at Sapphire during the same time period, but when they saw our place they were envious of all the extras that were offered.
