Vacation at our first class Mentone cabin with impeccable brow views, custom delights, and awesome terrain nearby. Five bedrooms, 3.5 baths, formal dining room, custom crafted Kitchen with Commercial appliances, Granite Counters and Tiled back splash, breakfast nook and eat-in bar. All baths have granite counter tops and Travertine. This home features hardwood floors throughout, with travertine tile in the wet areas, stone fire place in living room and also on the porch; both with gas logs.
Additionally this house has a media /sound system with intercom throughout. Iron Electric Gated entrance, with intercom. Designed to accommodate large families/groups needing to reconnect, laugh and relax. A must see, with a breathtaking sunset views.
Many local attractions to see and do and only 45 min to Chattanooga, TN
1st Floor:
Master Bedroom- Queen Bed (Sleeps 2) with separate shower and soaking tub. Exit directly to rear porch and enjoy the wonderful sunsets.
Dining room- seats 8 with China available if needed.
Living room- has flat screen and is open to a professional grade kitchen.
Kitchen- fridge with ice maker, double ovens, and 4 burners stove with Grill, microwave, and dishwasher.
Laundry Room- Full sized washer and Dryer and utility sink.
Garage- Two car garage (Full sized).
2nd Floor:
Bunk Room - 2 sets of bunk beds available. (Sleeps 4)
Front bedroom- Full size bed (sleeps 2)
Rear bedroom- Queen Bed (sleeps 2) and full private bathroom attached.

We loved this place. A gorgeous home with an amazing view. We would go there again if there could be one little tweak. The bunkbeds have plastic mattress covers. While this may be good for bedwetting toddlers, it was a real challenge for the four men who stayed in that room. They said the sheets stuck to their skin and the beds were noisy whenever they rolled over. Two of them indicated that it hindered there ability to sleep. Please consider putting real mattress covers over the plastic ones. With that one change, we'll probably come back next year. It is truly a wonderful property!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great home with a PHENOMINAL view! The house was well stocked and very comfortable. We rented the house for a family gathering and enjoyed hiking at DeSoto State Park and viewing the many waterfalls in the area. The upscale stove with an indoor grill was a great experience as we perfer to cook our meals. The outdoor fireplace was our favorite as it allowed for protection from the wind and great outdoor experiences. I would HIGHLY recommend this home and will book again for future gatherings!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family had such a great time visiting. This was a perfect place to stay. The pictures do not do it justice. The owner was great to work with as well. The only thing you need to bring to this house is yourselves. We highly recommend staying here. It's close to everything. Desoto Falls is a must see.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Mentone Dream was the perfect mountain house for our big group...absolutely beautiful!! Great location for just getting away, or hiking and exploring Desoto State Park and the little town of Mentone. Mentone Dream is an awesome vacation rental. Excellent layout, incredible view from the back porch. Very well done inside. Really was a great fit for our extended family for my son's wedding. My only complaint is the air conditioning. Seems a little undersized, but it was 102 degrees outside. Overall, I still give it 5 stars and would highly recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property was exactly as advertised: a Mentone Dream. My family and I vacationed for a few days in June and the weather was great, not to hot/not to cold. The house was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was so large and equipped with everything we needed. The area attractions made for an enjoyable time. We rock climbed, kayaked, swam, fished, golfed, went sight seeing and so much more. We plan on returning.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is the perfect home for a family gathering. The home offered everything we had expected and then some, absolutely Beautiful and Very Clean. The view is truly beautiful with each afternoon offering amazing sunsets. From the moment we arived to the time we left the home was filled with much love and laughter simply because of the comfort and oh so many places to see in the area. We had hoped for snow and had none, instead we took in the caverns and waterfalls. Again Awesome views! My extended family hadn't been together for Christmas in 5 years and never on New Years. This was the perfect place to spend the perfect Holiday's together. I do plan on returning one day in the near future.................Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Mentone Dream was exactly as described and MORE. I rented this house for my extended family's Christmas dinner. It was in a centralized location for all of us. Some came for just the day. Some stayed all weekend. The house is beautiful. The view from the back porch is to die for. Lots of room for catching up with family.Recommended for: Girls getaway.
