General Information About Steamboat Springs Colorado:
Steamboat has a friendly, laid-back western-town attitude in a small town that has retained its authentic western atmosphere. There are many interesting shops in town, art galleries, and restaurants(with many nice, reasonably-priced options), unlike many mountain resort towns.
The many activities in area which include a large natural hot springs, rodeo, horse back riding, hiking, world-class golf, trout fishing, rafting, hot springs water slide and pool, cultural events(many free concerts plus symphony), fine and casual dining, hot air ballooning and Balloon Festival, snow mobiling, lots of unique shops, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, indoor tennis, indoor ice skating, bi-plane rides, glider plane rides and deluxe day spas. Lots of activities for the whole family, very close and convenient to our home.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD SEASON FEATURES:
Tranquil, peaceful setting near stream, yet very close to the slopes. Easy walk to gondola, shopping, and dining, or use the FREE, easy & convenient private shuttle (stops right outside our door every five to eight minutes during winter) to get to the gondola or downtown in minutes. Intrawest has also just bought the mountain and is putting in millions of dollars in SKI AREA improvements!

Steamboat Springs offers world-class powder and tree skiing/snowboarding, and great kids and adult ski lesson programs. We have had the best snow in the Rockies for the past 4 ski seasons. Enjoy a glass of fine wine or steaming hot cocoa in front of the warm gas fireplace after a great powder day of skiing. Have a long soak in our private high end hot tub on the deck, or take advantage of the phenomenal complex hot tub (one of two in the Cascades complex) just across the street.
Our lovely Steamboat Townhouse gets rave reviews and books quickly. Please no smoking or pets, and additional nightly rental charges will apply for guests that exceed the 12 person limit without previous written permission from owner.
