I have stayed in all but one of John's apartments and I have to say it's been great every time. I'm sure one of John's apartments will fit your needs. I have meet all the maids and they are terrific. I visit Bogota about once a month and I never even think of staying anywhere else. Barrio Batan is a very safe neighborhood and I have never felt in danger ever, night or day. John and his staff will go the extra mile for you every time. I have referred clients and friends to John in the past and all of them have had very positive stays. Thank you John... My wife, Tatiana and i have found John extremely helpful accommodating us and our groups during two different stays in Bogota last March and July. His units are very nice and have an ideal location in a nice neighborhood. We look forward to staying there on our next visit. see you soon. I just want to say that this apartment is beautiful, incredibly clean and polished. I recomend this place if you want a large 3 bedroom for a lot less than a 1 bed hotel room. Hotels can't compete with the price or the size. You are a 5 min cab ride ($3)away from unicentro which is a huge mall with everything you need in it. The apartment has internet access with wi-fi and skype, you are walking distance from a shopping area and it"s very quiet and safe. I would definitly stay there again. We rented this condo, and it was fantastic! The neighborhood is so cute and safe. The people are so warm and friendly and willing to help.... we did not speak Spanish, but the were so patient with us. The food was great. Having a maid is awesome. She even ironed the underwear! Please note, you can not have a fire in the fireplace. I did not know it, but there is no heat in Bogota residences. But, warm sleep wear or a sweater is all you need. A Colombian/American friend laughed when he heard I had called John to find out where the thermostat was. Also, if you like black pepper, bring it. John, the owner, was so nice and helpful. He even ordered us pizza since we were English only speaking. The phone to the US was great! We used google to translate and communicate with the maid. The wifi was fast! Do not hesitate! Rent this condo! Any questions, I will be happy if John gives you my email. Cant wait to go back! The place is better than even John describes. I would go back just for the bakery.
