    "This is our second time staying here with our 3YO twins. Since they were scarred to stay in a room by themselves the rollaway beds in the master closet worked perfectly in the huge master bedroom. The jetted tub in the master was perfect for them to take a bath together as it was huge. Plenty of beach towels, beach toys,surf boards,BBQ grill with plenty of propane ,boogie boards,kayaks, umbrella,and awesome view of bay from 2 kid friendly decks. The heated outdoor shower was a huge hit for the twins to clean up after a day at the bay. Went to Seaworld, rented a boat at Bahia resort, and played at arcade in Belmont Park, all of which was an easy drive when not staying close to the rental. The playground is awesome and the kids loved running to it every morning when they woke up. Talking to the local moms at the playground and bay I came to realize it is never very crowed unlike other parts of mission beach/bay. Patty is very easy to work with and when we had a problem with the wifi she had someone come out to fix it right away. I informed her that my twins broke a plate and her boogie boards and offered to pay for them. She basically told me that it was not necessary. I've rented several vrbo properties in SD county and it's sooo refreshing not to get nickel and dimed on minor damage. It makes it so much easier to enjoy your vacation. Thanks for everything Patty. Tell Erik thanks for his help on the wifi. We look forward to coming back next October."

  • Perfect Vacation Stay. A++

    "My family and I were looking to celebrate my 5 year anniversary the best way in San Diego. In the past, we would always stay at a hotel and envy the beach renters. Now that we found Graces', it was everything I had hoped it would be and more. It's going to be hard to visit San Diego again in any other fashion and feel the way we did when renting this home on the beach. The location was perfect! We enjoyed the distance from Belmont Park as it was close enough to enjoy with a small walk but far enough to weed out the heavy public traffic. The amenities were perfect and the comfort can't be beaten. Anyone would be happy with the condition and cleanliness of the home. It has anything you think you would need for a day at the beach or in a vacation home. Pat was great. He made us feel very comfortable and at ease when meeting with him. When speaking with Michael, I felt secure with the whole process. Especially, since it had been my first time setting up a vacation completely on my own. The rental process from beginning to end was easy and smooth. Any questions were answered clearly and honestly. Do yourself and fellow vacationers a favor, and visit Graces' for the perfect beach stay!"

  • It's all about the view

    "This condo was just as the photos indicated with a fabulous view of the water. The boats are fun and relaxing to watch. We enjoyed our stay. The condo is well appointed with furniture and the kitchen made me feel right at home where we were able to prepare meals with ease. Two rooms and baths were perfect for us. It was a bit warmer than usual for the area so we had the sliding doors and windows open most of the time since there is no a/c. This did bring more noise into the condo as it is on the end of the blvd and right on the drive into/out of the parking lot for the beach. The other noise I'll mention that I did not see in previous posts was the air traffic. While we were there the take off path from the SD airport most days was right over mission bay so right over the condo. The flight path did change once in awhile but most of the time it was over the condo. If the doors were closed you did not hear it; with the temperature the doors were open and the cross breezes easily cooled off the condo. The building is quite secure with most areas under lock or code access, even the garbage area. The owner is easily available by email and we had one issue with the door lock sticking and a TV not working that she took care of promptly. As previously mentioned 2 parking spots are provided but one isn't really a size any car could fit especially if the other condo parking spot had a car in it. It is quite nice to have reserved parking since the other parking options are rarely open nearby and only one public lot nearby allows overnight parking. Walking to Belmont Park and the beach was very easy; driving out of the area could take awhile during popular times but travel for the most part was easy. We found we left the area by car for dinners as the places in Belmont Park were limited. Overall, very nice area to stay with excellent beach access. The condo is well maintained and appointed for a relaxing beach stay. Thank you for letting us use it for our stay."
