  • Amazing views...great location...wonderful stay

"So many great things to say about this condo! The location is perfect. Seemed that we were close to anywhere we wanted to go during our vacation. There are loads of activities to keep the whole family entertained right outside the condo…kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and other water sports on the bay side, and a short walk to the ocean side for fun in the waves. In addition to the activities, the condo is close to lots of great food. Mission serves a great breakfast along with a coffee bar (a couple short blocks away) and be sure to make the walk up to Pacific Beach to try an ice cream sandwich at Baked Bear! We honestly didn’t have a bad meal the whole week we were there. Thanks to Dave for the great recommendations, as many of these things might have been overlooked if we hadn’t been told about them beforehand. Back to the condo…it’s got everything you need. I appreciated that everything was clean and well stocked. On top of that, Dave was quick to respond to any questions we had. After a fun and active day, it was very relaxing to sit on the balcony looking onto the Bay and watching fireworks (great view of the Sea World show…about 5 minutes long). It was a great way to wrap up each day. I highly recommend this condo for your next trip to San Diego. Enjoy!"

  • Cute beach house steps from the shore

"My family has been renting beach houses in Mission Bay for the past 6 years. This was the best one that we have rented. We liked having lots of space (Each child was lucky enough to have their own room) and we had our own room and private bathroom. I liked that there weren't any house keys, just a keypad to enter the house. Also, we were able to fit our Sienna minivan in the garage. It was a tight fit, but my husband was able to get it in there with NO scratches!! This is no easy feat for garages and parking spaces in the Mission Beach area. There were lots of games, chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, kitchen utensils for us to use. I felt the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. We appreciated being on the second floor because we were able to get more of a breeze to help us keep cool, the only negative is that there weren't any screens (which isn't as big of a problem as first floor rentals, there are often a lot of flies at the beach), but, with all of the windows open you get a lot of noise from the alley below. There weren't any loud noisy neighbors, but the trash trucks two mornings and some random parents calling for their kids in the morning, cars driving by etc were loud in the house. This complaint isn't limited to this property, just a fact about being so close to other people in the Mission Bay/Mission Beach area. I would recommend this property to others. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was a delight to talk to on the phone while I was deciding to rent this property. She was prompt in returning our deposit."

  • Beach Vacation

"Our family of four spent a week in the lower unit. It was a great location and very comfortable, and came with all of the beach items, bikes, etc we needed. The patio is fantastic for coffee in the morning or relaxing after a day on the sand. David Hill was great to work with and very responsive. We had a great vacation."

  • Perfect location and plenty of room for family activities indoors and out!

"We are a family of 8, 5 adults and 3 teenagers. We enjoyed cooking and dining on the patio and had extra room for a niece and cousins to join us for dinner and games after a day at the beach! This home is well maintained and equipped for the beach and for preparing meals inside or out. The only thing we could have used was a larger skillet and smaller wine glasses! We also brought some larger beach blankets and towels with us which were used as well as our own balls, but there is plenty there for younger children. Large television in the living area worked beautifully. There is also a large set in the master bedroom upstairs which we didn't even turn on as we retired late. Beds were all comfortable. Air conditioning is provided however in San Diego it is so humid we felt it would have to work too hard to cool off during the day, and we were out most days on the beach or exploring the community. The property owner was helpful and expressed his desire that we have what we needed to be comfortable. We highly recommend the location, half a block to the bay and a block and a half to the beach. Quiet area, but certainly not restrictive."
