This large 4800 sq ft residence is set on 25 magnificent wooded acres of blue oaks and redbuds overlooking its own unique piece of the South Fork of the Kaweah River. Keep an eye out for the local deer, stroll our olive grove or just marvel at the majestic mountain vistas.
The property is comprised of a two-story house with the utmost in luxury and comfort with an adjacent cozy studio. Central heating/cooling and a flexible mix of rooms with private patios ensures privacy, comfort and accommodation for any combination of guests. The large kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances ready for the heartiest of meals. Adjacent is a dining area seating up to 12, central to a generous and lofty living area with wood burning fireplace and veranda with breathtaking views of Blossom Peak. The outdoor living environment is equally enchanting with a fabulous lagoon pool, fireplace and rustic outdoor dining area with gas BBQ - all with a beautiful river view.

There is also a full bathroom, a full laundry room with state of the art appliances and a separate library room.
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms with king beds, walk-in closets and private balconies. There is a central bathroom with separate vanity area.

It also has central heating and air conditioning. There is a queen bed in a nook area, a lounge dining area, a separate bedroom with two twin beds, a veranda and a bathroom.
Although the residence is superb, it is the outdoors that is the big attraction. Sip coffee on the huge veranda overlooking the lagoon style pool and watch the river running below, or enjoy meals on the rustic barbecue deck, marveling at the majestic mountains. In winter, huddle by the outdoor fireplace sipping wine while gazing at the incredible night sky. In summer, relax by the pool, dipping in to cool off now and then. Take nature walks on the property through the blue oaks, along the river frontage or through the olive grove, all the while being on the look-out for our friendly deer.
You will love vacationing at Redbud Trail Retreat so much it may be difficult to tear yourself away to see the Sequoia National Park and other attractions.
If you can leave your compound, the area offers an abundance of activities year round.

We made it back home safely these past few days were fabulous! far exceeded any expectation anyone may have had. Beautiful setting, privacy, five star accommodations and service is what it's about here at Redbud Trail Retreat. I definitely will be back with the kids and hubby. Our girls weekend retreat was a success, I did all the cooking and the kitchen accommodations were superb. Robin was a delight to work with from beginning to end. The property is spotless and you can see the attention to detail given all around from the main house, cottage, game room and grounds. All the girls enjoyed their massages down by the river thank you Robin for arranging Stephanie to come out, she was just wonderful! Can't wait to come back. Thank you again Robin, I feel as though I've made a new friend. Celia MillaRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: Celia, How special you made the ladies feel on this first retreat together. Wonderful fellowship, awesome food, and relaxing massages on the river deck....it doesn't get any better than that! I look forward to your return with your family. and...(p.s. thanks so much for leaving the house in such great condition!) ~your friend, Robin~

We had an incredible weekend! My family headed out there to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. We wanted a place that was secluded, beautiful, and that would fit all of us, a group of 18. Lets just say we found the perfect place. We were welcomed at the house by Robin, whom everyone thought was great and super friendly. She greeted us with a very sweet welcome card and basket. The house is spectacular and was perfect for our family. The entire property is just enchanting and was a blast to explore and discover all its treasures. The kids loved it, from the pool, to the jacuzzi, to the play room, and creek, they never got bored. To Robin and the owners, thanks again for everything, it all truly made for an unforgettable weekend. We are already trying to plan our next trip out there!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Kelly & family, So far, all of our guests have started planning their next trip here...before they even leave! What a wonderful compliment! It is truly an honor to be a part of life-long memories being made at this beautiful property. We welcome you and your entire family back as soon as you can schedule it. ~Robin~

We had a fabulous trip to Three Rivers. The property is so beautiful, right on the river with stunning views all around. My family was kept busy enjoying the many amenities the property offered including swimming in the wonderful pool, reading in the hammock by the river, and taking scenic walks. There is also a game room with ping pong, darts and a pool table! The kitchen was stocked with every utensil/pot/pan you could need to cook fabulous meals. We loved eating out on the deck enjoying the sound of the river, the scenery really connected us with the beauty of nature.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: I am so glad you discovered the hammock! Isn't that the perfect spot for a nap? :) I'm happy that you four were able to just relax and rejuvenate. The Retreat forces you to slow down, enjoy your company, and appreciate the beauty around you. Everybody needs to do that from time to time, and I am thrilled to hear that you'll be back soon! ~Robin~

When I reserved this house I had an idea that I wanted to rent a peaceful place where my family and friends could relax and align themselves with the higher source thru the direct contact with nature. The Redbud Trail Retreat Estate exceeded not only my expectations but also my imagination of what I was looking for. The magnificent mountains that embrace you as you step out of the house, the sound of the river that serenades your senses and the beautiful peaceful energy that takes over your spirit is what I most loved about this place. The house is icing on the cake, this grandiose house is spectacular - each room very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need. This house spells luxury and comfort. The outside table setting and the fireplace provide a very comfortable setting to take in all the nature around. The game room with ping pong table and pool table were a hit with the kids as well as the swimming pool. I will give the house itself 5 stars. And to the nature that surrounds the property there is no rating possible that could give it justice. This is the collective opinion of every one of us who experienced this paradise. Thank you for being the bridge that gave us so much joy to our souls………. until next timeRecommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Lucrecia, It was an absolute delight meeting all of you! Watching the kids tumble out of the car and race off to the river still makes me smile. As our very first guests, you soaked up every moment and adventure you could possibly squeeze into your time here, and I'm so glad it exceeded your expectations. Please come back soon! ~Robin~

About the owner: We are two families originally from Australia and have been in the hotel business for many years, so you can count on us to have everything just right. We love the outdoors and discovered the Three Rivers area while looking for a private 'off the grid' property to retreat to periodically from our busy schedules - a place to be able to enjoy with family and friends with easy access to the great outdoors of the Sierra Nevada.
Why the Owner Chose Three Rivers:
We loved our camping and hiking adventures in the Sierras so much that we decided to try to get own little piece. When we first toured the Three Rivers area we fell in love with the quaint town and its accessibility to the many outdoor activities, amazing vistas, natural habitats and river access. Red Bud Trail Retreat is one of those rare properties in the Three Rivers area that has vast views, river frontage , seclusion, and absolute peace and quiet.
The Unique Benefits at this Estate:
This particular property is the last remaining parcel of land at the foot of Blossom Peak on Red Bud Trail. We just love the orientation of the home overlooking the river and mountains.
You feel totally secluded and your only neighbor is a family of deer that occasionally graze outside the kitchen window or the wild turkeys that drop by.
The olive grove of over 200 trees is always a great place to take a stroll, as is the riverfront.
Of course the residence is just fabulous , well built and so comfortable.
The property has a certain energy about it that you 'drop into' the minute you arrive.
We Love It!
