Why Tennison Long chose Three Rivers
Three Rivers is a very special place, and for some a hidden California gem! Nestled in the foothills, you can be at the sequoia trees within 45 minutes, or be on the lake in 15...the nights are star-filled, the weather is always amazing, the hum of the river slides you into immediate relaxation! The town has a population of roughly 3,000 people, so it is small yet still provides many necessary amenities...a few restaurants, two markets, gas stations, art galleries, video store, gift shops, organic farm, and more...the house is a couple of miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park and one mile from entrance to Mineral King! The Kaweah Lake is a man-made reservoir lake which provides for great bass fishing, recreational water skiing, jet skiing, houseboat rentals and more.
What makes this House unique
The 'White House' has its own private swimming hole, perfect for sunbathing, swimming and fishing! The house was built with views in mind...most windows and decks face east toward the park. The granite rocks at the entrance to the house have the original 'grinding holes' by the local Indian tribe, the Potwisha, who would grind acorn into maze, their most common food! The house is awesome in many ways...it was built with entertaining in mind, there is a very nice flow of spaciousness and can support many guests comfortably, or be the perfect getaway for a couple! FYI AT&T is only cell service in Three Rivers, but the house does have wifi and a landline!

Old big house rude neighbor.
house was dirty there was a roach in the bathroom owner said The house had been clean maybe it was cleaned a week before I got there, there was dust everywhere the house was not cleaned for a while I was very upset I had to pay 4 cleaning service when the house was not clean I let the owner know and he sent a cleaning lady the next day, the house was not clean again they just left the wine bottle on the table will never come back to this house do not recommend it if you are trying to have a nice clean stay specially if you have kids you should update your cleaning crew other than that the house is big and there is various space .
hello, thank you for your feedback.
Some clarifications on your review. The house was cleaned just prior to your arrival as there were guests the night before. You called me in drunken state 6 hours after your check in to complain that there were leaves on the deck, and that the washing machine wasn't working. I told you that since it was 10pm the soonest I could have the cleaning crew back out would be in the morning. I asked you several times if there were any other issues, and you said no. I told you that she would be there around 9am and you said okay since your entire family was leaving for a day trip to the park. The next morning the cleaning lady arrived to find the washing machine was not broken, and she swept off the decks per your request. Luckily she was also there to give water to your disabled daughter that you left behind. I then reached out to you that evening and you said everything was to your satisfaction and you were able to finish the load of personal laundry that you were doing. As for the neighbor, there are specific guidelines posted in the house about the private property lines and what belongs to the White House and what is not our property. You disregarded these rules. Thank you for your stay!
Really nice home
The house I really nice just need some up dates but overall is one of the most wonderful home that me and my family stay for vacation
Nice house but not clean.
The house is very comfortable and suitable for larger families. We really enjoyed our stay however the house was extremely dirty especially the kitchen and bathrooms. It had not been properly cleaned for months.
Hello, happy to hear you enjoyed the house. We apologize that the cleanliness was not to your standards. We can assure you the house is professionally cleaned before each stay and there is a linen service that provides all bedding. We shared this with the cleaning team and hope to better meet expectations in the future.
Fantastic property, excellent views.
