Flip flops, sand between your toes and sun in your eyes. Just like 'The Good Ole Days': quiet, no crowds and no traffic. Leave your worries behind, take off that tie, work boots, or high heels and turn off that cell phone too. You won't need them here. But, if you must get online there is free WiFi. Our condo is perfect for relaxing and well equipped. So kick back, put your feet up and relax. Have a glass of wine, a cold beer or some sweet tea on our beach front deck and enjoy the panoramic ocean view. Go to bed at night with the windows open and hear the waves splashing on the beach, then wake up to the most beautiful sunrises anywhere then go for an early beach walk with your coffee and look for turtle tracks. What a way to start the morning!
There's lots to do. Fishing, shrimping, crabbing, shelling and swimming at one of the pools at either end of the building or the Olympic size pool and a children's pool at the Beach and Racquet Club just a couple minutes walk away. The four pools are open April 1 through October 31. The Beach and Racquet club also has a gym you can use, a playground for kids and bikes for rent. Don't forget to bring the beach towels and toys!
There's nature galore; nesting birds, gators (don't feed them!) ghost crabs at dusk, seagulls flying low just waiting for some bread crumbs and even a pair of Osprey's nesting near the crabbing dock. For even more nature visit Hunting Island State Park, it's just across the river.
There's so much to do and so little time. So make the best of every minute and enjoy!
Our condo has a well equipped contemporary kitchen with a breakfast bar. During the renovation the first floor was changed to an open floor plan. There is a dinning area, family room area and powder room downstairs too. The second floor has two bedrooms each with its own full bath. The master bedroom has a king size bed, huge eight foot wide window overlooking the ocean and a shower that has two shower heads, one of which is a rainfall shower head. The second bedroom has two twin size beds and a combined bathtub and shower. There are flat screen TVs and BluRay players in the family room and each bedroom. Free WiFi just for our guests. Free calling to the 50 states, which is important because cell phone coverage is spotty. There is a washer and dryer in the condo too.
Our condo is strictly non-smoking. We respectfully request that if anyone in your group smokes that you do not rent our condo. This is not a commercial property but is our personal condo and we stay there frequently.
Smoking is prohibited in the condo, on the deck and on the entrance deck. The closest place smoking is allowed is the parking lot. Damages and a $250.00 or more cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in the condo or on either deck....moreless

REQUIRED HARBOR ISLAND PARKING PASS: $10./night or $50/week or $60/2 weeks, or $75/3 months, or $100/year
MONTHLY RATE: From the first day to the last day of each month, Oct. through Mar. is $3990. per month.
Smoking is prohibited in our condo. Damages and a $250.00 or more cleaning fee will be charged for smoking.

A credit card is required to confirm your reservation. A deposit equal to 30% of the rental amount is due within 14 days of booking. The balance is due at check-in. In case of a cancellation 30 or more days prior to the arrival date a cancellation fee of $75 will be charged and the remainder of your depost will be refunded. Ask about the rest of the cancellation and refund policy prior to booking.

Harbor Island is a special place. It is NOT a place to find crowds, noise or traffic. It IS the place for a wonderfully quiet beach vacation. In a glorious natural setting, our island is perhaps the best kept secret on the East coast. This is a private, gated community with 24 hour security and a friendly place where people say hello and wave at you from their cars. The beautiful beach is never crowded.
