With spectacular views from every room in the house this amazing oceanfront home is sure to delight. A deck runs the full width of the rear of the house with a boardwalk connecting that deck to another deck sitting directly upon the beach, from here you have a private beach access.
This home features an up-to-date kitchen with Corian counter tops. During the Winter of 2011 this home has received: New Carpet throughout, Refinished Hardwood Floors, New Living Room Furniture, New Dining Room Furniture. The main level features three large, ocean-view bedrooms. The Great room features an open floor plan with fireplace and large LCD television.
The main floor master suite has a king bed with private bath and oceanfront deck access. Two additional bedrooms on the main floor each have a queen bed and an ocean view--these 2 bedrooms share a full hall bath. The second floor has 2 bedrooms. One has 2 twin beds, the other has 3 twin beds, both have an ocean view. These 2 bedrooms also share a full hall bath. Additionally, the sofa pulls out to a queen size sleeper.
All 3 baths were renovated Spring of 2009!
Cruise to the Olympic Pool Village or Cabana Club Complex via golf cart or bicycle (use of our golf cart is included in rental). The Olympic Pool Village houses a number of shops and restaurants with both elegant and casual dining.
While the Cabana Club Complex offers outdoor fun for the entire family. Here you will find a heated pool, hot tub, two separate children's pool areas, a sand playground, a casual restaurant, and an outdoor bar all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Nature lovers will not need their binoculars as the deer, birds, and other wildlife will join you on your daily strolls. Spend an afternoon fishing and crabbing from the bridge over the canal or rent watercraft in the marina.

We have been staying in Berta's beach homes on Fripp Island for nine years now. We absolutely love the location of this home (Sandcastle). It is quiet and on a beautiful section of the island. This home is well maintained and comfortable for a large family with plenty of parking and outdoor space. It is like home away from home for us every year. It is also a pleasure working with Berta on the rental arrangements.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

AWESOME...just one word to descibe the wonderful time had by my family. The little ones loved being able to all be together in one room. They had a blast and the memories will last forever. It was great to see the guys all dressed in the golf clothes (they are not golfers). I will have to send photos. We are going to put up a special small Christmas tree for all of the sand dollars collected in addition to our traditional tree. Would like to stay again just for a girls week only. Can't wait for the next vacation..it will certainly be another to be remembered!

Our primary reason for renting the house was our son's graduation from Marine Corp boot camp. While the view was spectacular and the time my family and I had was amazing, this home left a lot to be desired. There was food in the oven from the previous renters, dirty handprints on the bedroom walls, dead bugs behind furniture, and the sleeper sofa had food inside. There were broken chairs and toys under the deck. Fripp Island is a gorgeous location and I would love to come back, but I definitely would find another house.

We had a great time at Sand Castle. The view was absolutely beautiful and it was a great house for family and kids. My boys stayed upstairs and it was perfect. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful house - it was an absolutely perfect vacation!

We’ve been renting beachfront properties for some 20 years, most of them at Fripp, but a few times at Corolla on the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Of all the houses we’ve been in, this one is the best.The view out of all the windows in the front of the house is magnificent. The deck is great, the kitchen, with that ocean view is wonderful. I just can’t use enough superlatives to describe it.The weather was excellent, a little cool during the first of the week, but since we came prepared, with down jackets, etc. it didn’t bother us a bit. But, sun everyday? You couldn’t ask for more.Where did you get that showerhead in the master bathroom? Fantastic!We never used the golf cart, but we did use that great grill and the fireplace.I could just go on and on, but, needless to say, we were very satisfied.Have you ever given any thought to renting the house for a month this time of year? We loved Fripp and staying in this wonderful house. Rob caught some beautiful red fish and we enjoyed them on our last night. Marsha What a glorious beach and island. We had a wonderful time. The house is well equipped with everything to have a relaxing vacation. During our stay we saw a newborn dear learning to walk off the back deck, hundreds of starfish and tons of sand dollars. The blue crabs were plentiful to catch off the island dock or you could just walk the beach at low tide and collect them from the tidal pools. The guys really enjoyed going to the oyster roast the Island had. The kids still talk about the trip all the time. The Pham's and Narucki's

We had a wonderful week at your lovely home. It is so comfortable. The waves lulled us to sleep every night. We were here for my daughter's wedding which turned out to be beautiful. My grandsons loved riding in the golf cart to see the deer every afternoon. It was so quiet and peaceful here and the house is so perfect for a family. The boys loved their upstairs befroom with the sail boats. The house was the perfect place to host a wedding reception and accomodated 25 people comfortabley. It was perfect week!
