Peninsula vacation rentals

This place is spacious and immaculate with great views of the ocean. The building is in a quiet neighborhood. It’s secure and well staffed. The pool is a crystal clean and the grounds are in perfect working order. It’s a short walk to the beach club, but I’d recommend renting one of the golf carts to expedite trips to the beach club in downtown.

My family and I stayed here for 9 days. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The pool is gorgeous and used the gas grill several times. View from the condo is not the best, but the inside of the condo is very clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The complex is gated and the guards are super friendly! Also like that it is close enough to Tamarindo, but not IN Tamarindo. Playa Langosta was a perfect location for us. If you stay here, be sure to go to Fish and Cheeses down the street first and say "Hi" to Bruno! He is a perfect welcome if it is your first time in Costa Rica (As it was ours).

We loved staying here. Lots of space for our family of 5. Condo is beautiful and clean and kitchen had everything we needed. The balconies overlook the pool and the views are stunning. We saw monkeys frequently nearby. The beds were comfy and rooms well decorated. Good air conditioning. The property itself is gated and very safe. There are lots of staff around always cleaning and working and they were very kind and helpful. The two pools are really nice and area is very safe to walk around at night but I would recommend a golf cart for getting around. Pacific coast golf cart rental was great. The property management company was very responsive when we had questions or issues. I would highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in mid-January. The condo is as described and pictured. Both the unit and building are very modern and comfortable. The complex has two beautiful swimming pools, both rarely used. There is ample seating in the shade or out in the sun. Along side the swimming pools is a shelter with bathrooms, covered seating and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen/bbq. The property has everything needed for an enjoyable stay including a backpack style cooler. Plenty of pots, pans, etc and place settings for four. It would have been better if basic cooking supplies (e.g., spices, aluminum foil) and perhaps a starter amount of coffee & tea were provided. Langosta is in a quieter area in the southern section of the town. There are several nice restaurants and a convenience store within several blocks of the building. The Italian restaurant adjacent to the building was excellent and fills up quickly. Make reservations! We didn't rent a car, everything within Tamarindo is walkable, having said that the northern portion of the beach where umbrella/chair rentals are available is a longish walk, but along a beautiful beach. By the way, the surf was rough in much of Tamarindo beach and is better for surfing than swimming. But, the water was calmer in some sections of the beach and some times of the day. Tamarindo has a plethora of restaurants everything from beach bars to fine dining. Many have evening entertainment. We visited both nearby Flamingo and Conchal beach using Uber. Andrea was incredibly responsive answering our queries often within minutes. We left two days ago and are already longing to return.

Casa Tranquilo - this beautiful condo in Playa Langosta served as the perfect home base during out stay in Tamarindo. Located less than a five minute walk from Sunset Beach - where the sun sets against volcanic rocks, gorgeous beach, and breaking waves - this unit has everything you need for a week at the beach. The owners are attentive from reservation to departure and there is onsite management to address any questions. Eat amazing Mahi mahi tacos while sitting on swings at the Green Papaya. Take a long morning walk from the condo to the gorgeous beach of Playa Grande and collect shells and watch the surfers and kayakers. Sail on a catamaran and feel the wind in your face, snorkel with the fish, and watch the sun turn the sky a shimmering pink and silver as the day turns into night. Bring plenty of sunscreen, a couple of great books, and your swimsuit....paradise awaits. Have your breakfast on the porch, head out for adventures, and sleep well in a lovely home away from home. We would certainly recommend this condo to families traveling to Tamarindo. Check out the binder in the unit for excellent recommendations on dining and outings. Be sure to make the trip to the Cloud Forest if time permits...well worth the drive and a great balance to time on the beach. Happy Vacationing!

Naxos 6 was wonderful for our family of 4. Short walks to several beach access points along Langosta Beach for surfing, swimming, etc. The condo had what we needed and was as advertised. The pool and hot tub were nice to use after we returned from being out. Highly recommended!!

Went to Costa Rica for our baby moon! I am 7 months pregnant and absolutely loved this spot. It was quiet, clean and cozy! Just far enough from town to get away from the crowds and still enjoy a nice stroll into town when we needed. Great views from the master bedroom porch! The pool was always clean and hardly ever busy. The guards were very friendly as well!

Have now stayed here 2 years in a row. The condo and building is clean and well maintained. In a lovely area of tamarindo. Check in process was simple and management very responsive
