Spectacular Fortunes Rocks Beach, one of Maine's longest and most beautiful, is just steps away. This cheerful cottage offers 2 bedrooms: one full and two twin beds. This cottage also provides a full (small) bath, kitchen dining area, and large deck for sunning and socializing. There is ample off-street parking and a small shaded backyard with outdoor shower. Cable, wifi, two flat screen TVs and an outdoor grill are provided for your convenience. Small, well-behaved pet considered (one dog limit) with pet fee.

This property is easily accessible from I-95 and it is only 9 miles from historic Kennebunkport's shops and restaurants. Also in the area are the Audubon trails in Biddeford Pool, bike-friendly roads, and kayak rentals.

Wonderful location, steps from beach.

This was a very comfortable stay, just across the road from a fantastic beach. There is a hose right by the door to wash off sandy feet. The wrap around porch has ample seating and the picnic table was well utilized for food and card playing. Our one glitch was that we didn’t notice that linens were not included until we went to bed, but Diane got an ample supply to us by the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Camp by the beach

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Being steps from the beach and enjoying the spacious deck with our dog were the highlights. We enjoyed not being caught up in the hubbub of more touristy areas, but getting to a restaurant or store was a bit of an effort. Living quarters inside were a little tight with two adults and teenage son, but we made it work.

My husband and I have summered on Fortune's Rocks Beach since 1970. We fell in love with this cottage and it was the perfect spot to vacation with our daughters. We have spent hours on this family-friendly beach: looking for sea shells, playing in the waves, and building sand castles. Now they look forward to returning to this special place ever summer - more and more appreciative of the beauty of Fortune's Rocks.
