Wrapping around St. Barth's tallest peak lies this chic sprawling villa offering a breathtaking view from each of its three high-beamed bungalows. The main bungalow features one of the largest loaded gourmet kitchens,an enormous Lacanche stove (with pot-filler, oven, deep-fat fryer, simmer plate, electric and gas cooktops). The spacious dining area includes one indoor and two outdoors offering both sunny and shaded eating and entertaining areas.
Four arched double French doors provide the sunken living room with a direct view of the infinity pool & emerald sea below. Each bungalow and its separate rooms are uniquely designed in vibrant colors and textures and beautifully appointed. Because the villa is located in a rural area, it offers complete privacy and seclusion. Character, detail, and an unrivaled view define Villa Grand Vista.
The master suite, located in its own bungalow with private steps to the pool has a plush leather bed and an enormous bay window room, and spacious bathroom. The bathroom, completely covered with tiny blue and white-gold mosaic Italian tiles, has a shower and free-form tub where you can take in yet another view of the ocean.
Winding around the master suite is the guest bungalow and outdoor kitchenette. Both guest rooms have king beds and en-suite bathrooms.

I spent weeks perusing websites to find an ideal spot for me and my toddler daughter to spend Spring Break and I was very lucky to come upon this wonderful home! The decision was made after I exchanged emails with the owner who was smart, charming and entirely accommodating. The first impression of the villa as you walk in is that you are visiting a friend -- what a wonderful feeling to rent yet feel like you are home! Next, of course, is the phenomenal view--this you do not easily find in any rental. The patio stretches all across the edge of a cliff that overlooks the sea and you enjoy a gorgeous, 180 expansive view of the sea and the islands. The sprawling patio includes a grilling area, dining table and several seating arrangements near the pool and the other bedrooms. The pool is inviting and refreshing and partakes of the full panorama -- the first thing my daughter did when we arrived was peel off her city clothes and jump in! We happened to be joined by friends later in the week and the villa could not have been more comfortable for us...the bedrooms are separate, private and well appointed with their own outdoor sitting areas, while the main house is large with vaulted ceilings and a gourmet kitchen (including even a fryer -- we couldn't help but make our own doughnuts and french fries!). The house has more equipment than we had time to use -- sound system, tv, game station, etc. From the location in Vitet, we could easily explore the many beaches (my favorite, Saline) and great restaurants that St. Barths offers -- a perfect combination of privacy and accessibility (we spent one great afternoon enjoying the beach, dining, crab hunting and spa treatments at nearby Guanahani....). The villa manager was lovely and took care of all of our needs, and the owner, Karen, could not have been more gracious. This is a great house for a small or large group -- we are already planning our return visit!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This is a fabulous villa! Clean, clean, clean, beautifully decorated, great art, andthe most fabulous open, sweeping view. The villa is very private and located in one of the few remainingremotespots, away from the roads,and commercial areas.The managementwas so welcoming and took care of everyneed. The price of our stay was more thansuitablefor this fabulous villa. Can't wait to return! Description was accurate. Refreshing and clean! An idyllic location with amazing views I have locked into memory forever. Much more than I expected with plenty of rooms and space for family and privacy. Secluded from the noise and excitement of the island, yet close enough to be in a great restaurant in minutes. Decor and comfort better than my favorite inn. Very efficient yet discreet help. I give this 5 out of 5 stars and hope to return for another Holiday.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I havehad the opportunity to stay at Villa Grand Vista two times and each has been so enjoyable. The villa is ina greatlocation, away from the noise and traffic of thetowns butjust a minute to the best snorkeling beach at Lorient. It's quiet and private and the view -WOW! I was a cruise ship captain in the caribbean for 10 years andvisited many, if not all, the islands including St Barth many times and this view is unsurpassed! And every room has the view. The villa was built with quality materials, is artfully decorated, clean, and the service is outstanding! It's worth every penny!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Really, it's the view. It is so vast, seemingly endless sea. It's so funny to think of the houses near the ocean in Santa Cruz trying so hard to build a small terrace on the SW corner of the second floor so that they could see a sliver of water and honestly say they had an ocean view! Here it is nearly impossible not to see ocean and it's so clear - no smog, no haze, no fog.
