  We very much enjoyed the house and found the location excellent. The facilities were clean and the amenities - pool table, pool, bar, etc.. were fantastic. Martin was exceptionally helpful and his guidance gave us insight into the city that we couldn't have gleaned elsewhere. Great visit, great location, and great house to stay.

  I stayed here with my family in December. It was a last minute decision as other accommodation had fallen through for our time in BA. We are so happy that things panned out the way they did and we got to stay in this amazing house! The pictures really don't do it justice, it's very spacious and was the perfect base. It was a great house to hang out in, the pool table and table tennis were great! Martin was very helpful and prompt to all of our questions and Laura who cleaned was amazing. We would recommend this to all of our friends and would definitely stay here again when we are back in wonderful BA!

  We have been to Buenos Aires' Palermo district three times in the last three years, and this was definitely the best place we have stayed! The pictures of this place make it seem almost too good to be true (we've been mildly disappointed by VRBO pics making places look nicer than they are in a couple cases), but this is definitely not the case with this listing! The main house is HUGE! Our group of about 10 people rented both the main house and the guest house. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom - it has two walk in closets, a comfortable king size bed, and a lovely master bathroom with sky lights provided wonderful natural light. The master bath shower is REALLY nice, and has about a foot deep jacuzzi tub. (that is the only picture that we misinterpreted - the pic of the hot tub while full makes it hard to tell how deep it is. :) ) We didn't use the outdoor pool, as it was way too cold - at the time of our stay it was fall, but someone came to clean out flower petals and leaves once during our stay. The location is great - only a few blocks away from great restaurants and shopping on Honduras, and two weekend Ferias on Honduras and Armenia. Also, the pizzeria/empanaderia on El Salvador and Julian Alvarez less than a block away has FABULOUS empanadas!!! The property was clean and well maintained. Martin, the caretaker/manager was very helpful! We had him recommend a chef to prepare a traditional Argentina meal on the outdoor parilla - HIGHLY recommended!! We had a party of about 20 people for this meal, and the downstairs had plenty of room for everyone. About 10 blocks away are a couple of our favorite restaurants in Palermo - La Cabrera and Don Julio, both Argentine steak houses. (the incredible Argentine steak is one of the main reasons we keep coming back! :) ) If you have a larger group, do not hesitate to rent this amazing property!!! :)

  This property truly is a hidden treasure in BA! From the moment we walked in the door we were taken away with the beauty and pristine upkeep. Our family of 6 traveled to BA after being gone for 20 years, we reunited my son with his birth place! The home was perfect, not a detail missed and every need was met by Martin (so very helpful)!!! The convenience of the location, the local eateries and security of the home made us feel like we had never left. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely rent this home again!!

  We were at the beautiful house during Thanksgiving 2011 and had an excellent time! We had a couple other families with us and it was their first time in Buenos Aires. They could not believe what Buenos Aires had to offer. Their and our excellent experience started with Martin, who oversees the property. He was there for us 24/7 with any of our needs. The property is exactly as listed only better. The room with the flat screen tv, pool table is huge, we were all impressed ! The pool area is a place where you can just sit and relax and even enjoy your time more ! The property is in excellent shape and very clean. The maid service is top notch too. Also a water cooler with 5 gallon water bottles is provided. Also it is very quiet. No street noise. There are many activities near by along with many restaurants. Make sure you do not leave without eating at La Cabrera for the best steak around. It is walking distance from the house. Also for the best wood fired pizzas, a more causal place, Romario, is a must ! It is also walking distance from the house. Taxi's are easy to get and the subway is not too far. Martin also arranged for us to have Agustina come in and cook for us and that was an experience that should not be missed. She is an Executive Private Chef. He also introduced us to Maria for our city tours and shopping tours, another can't miss item to do. Maria was excellent! Martin really made our trip so much better! We will always consider this property when we return to Buenos Aires. But will also make sure Martin is around. Also a must is that Buenos Aires offers high tea and having it at Alvear Palace is another not to miss item. Martin of course made the reservations. I can go on, but then you will have Martin there when you arrive. Thank you and enjoy your visit to Buenos Aires! A property we will always go back to.

  When we started searching for a place in Buenos Aires for our family vacation, I must admit I was slightly skeptical in reading the reviews on this house. Could it really be this good? Well, believe me, it was, and then some. If any doubts, ask the owner to forward my e-mail to you. I will be glad to respond. This deluxe urban home is extremely spacious and full of quality. We took full advantage of the pool / ping pong table in the living area. The swimming pool (heated to as hot as you want it) was almost in constant use, even though the weather (the beginning of winter in Argentina) was brisk, but comfortable Martin was of great, and constant, help and assistance, whether it be in recommendations as to things and places to see and visit, a variety of wonderful restaurants, getting reservations or a taxi (very reasonably priced), etc. An excellent cleaning and support staff. The house's location is great, close to a whole host of excellent restaurants, all kinds of shopping, and easy access to all that Buenos Aires has to offer. It was a most enjoyable, relaxing and exciting week, enjoyed thoroughly by our entire family.

  The house was absolutely perfect. The description of it on the listing was accurate and it actually was better than described. The house was very clean and well maintained while we were there. Palermo Soho is filled with fabulous shopping, restaurants and clubs. We ate at several restaurants in the neighborhood and all were fantastic. Mott was probably our favorite, where we were introduced to the Chef who prepared our fabulous meal. Crizia was also excellent as was a little Mexican restaurant Xalapa. We did not meet the owner of the property, however the property manager was most helpful with all our needs. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again myself. It was the perfect place to come home to after a day touring Buenos Aires.

  My husband & I rented The Loft (incl. guest house) for a week for ourselves and five friends from various parts of the U.S. to celebrate my 50th birthday. None of us had been to S.A. before, let alone Buenos Aires. I've also got a little burned with VRBO listings in the past (slightly "embellished" descriptions). No burn this time! The house, guest house and neighborhood were *fantastic* & completely measured up to the photos and description (and in case you're skeptical, I took a video with my BlackBerry, with my niece acting as emcee, which I would be happy to share). We had everything we could think of, big & small (incl. such a fantastic Nespresso coffeemaker that I ordered one from Amazon while we were there). Laura & Maria, the housekeepers, came every other day and left the place spotless. In addition to the perfect house, we were lucky enough to get perfect weather during Memorial Day week (although the Argentines thought it was a little chilly, those of us from Chicago went around in t-shirts). The neighborhood is completely safe & friendly & cabs are plentiful (& *cheap*!). Martin was the glue that held it all together, though; our whole group agreed that our experience wouldn't have been anywhere near as successful without his help in planning, answering off-the-cuff questions ("How's this TV work, anyway?"), etc. He made dinner reservations for us, arranged for a *great* half-day city tour, rides to and from the airport...the list goes on and on. He made everything so easy we were completely spoiled...and can't wait to go back to get spoiled again! (P.S. B.A. is a *very* dog friendly city - another plus for us!)
